Did you know that you can legally drink alcohol out in the open along the Riverwalk? You can't have an open container while walking around at street level, but on the river, it's all good! One option would be to get a drink at the local bars, which tends to be expensive, and they're not generally happy with you running off with their glassware. Therefore, going to Lucky's is always a good option! You can grab a quart or a tallboy here, get it in the paper bag if you insist on drinking on street level, but you don't need it for the Riverwalk! Drink up, buddy! This place seems to sell a lot of crap! They have a variety of San Antonio souvenirs- t-shirts, hats, and such. I didn't see anything I needed. When I went, there were a couple of homeless folks in here. One was buying a fake rose packaged in a glass tube, and steel wool. Hmmm... The beer was cold, but they didn't have the sizes that I'd prefer for drinking on the Riverwalk. Buying a six pack rarely makes sense when you can keep buying individual beers, since the six-pack will get warm in the Texas heat quickly. There are better options around here for what you wanna get from here- there's a Walgreens down the street, and a CVS down the river. There's zero parking for this place.

I love going to my local HEB, we are yet to have a bad batch of food or bad batch of vegetables. My wife makes sure I have a good salad and sandwich for work every day and we will pass up our closer walmart to go to this HEB. I also like the people that work there, they are so up beat. They price match and also are the best prices in town when it comes to fresh produce. My wife and I have gone to two places that provide bountiful baskets, those were not as good a comparison as our HEB. I just wanted to put out there that not all large institution have gone down the greedy hole drain. Hope this helps Dave read more

Most HEB's are great but I just call this one the Ghetto-B as opposed to the lovely Gucci-B Central market. it is unfortunately the closest to my home. But it is so lousy it is worth stopping at the one near Harry Wurzbach and Austin Hwy or going up to the one on Kitty Hawk. I don't understand why it has taken soooo long to renovate the dump. In fact, the Wal-Mart, which I detest, is nicer. Someone put a better supermarket on the 78! Not everyone out here is poor. read more

I was super polite, because I would have totally understood if somebody had found it and kept it. It turns out that an employee saw it and turned it in. They looked at the receipt and checked the security cameras verified it was me and gave me my twenty dollars. I really didn't expect to get the money back. I had to write them a good review for that. The guy whoever helped the most was named Peter but it wasn't pronounced with the hard r.

It means so much to have friendly & helpful people in this Pharmacy. I feel very fortunate to receive such good care!
