They could use some upgrading and parking lot improvements... The deli, however, is pretty awesome! They offer everything from fresh made beef and pork sausage to seafood boudin. The hot items are very reasonably priced and taste like something straight from Bigmama's kitchen. My favorite is the oxtail plate which includes rice and two additional sides all for under $8! If you're ever in the area and looking for some good old fashioned cooking on a dime, check out this deli!

I had to go next door to Advance Auto Parts for batteries, since Kroger was out of the size needed. Their produce section left a lot to be desired. I was happy that their sandwich game was pretty much impeccable. I found some good sandwiches here. The beer selection was below average. A few Houston breweries, all the national brands and a few imports. Meh. I got some 8th Wonder here, which was good. They had narrow aisles and help was nowhere to be found. At least the check out process was fast and easy. There's a Starbucks up in this store, but I didn't check that out. Instead, I went for the Kroger brand coffee-like drinks. Gah. I'd prefer to go shopping at a Lowe's or a HEB. Advance Auto Parts was a better place to get some of the merchandise!

I've…read morelearned to ignore those who think I can't see them staring at me as if I don't have peripheral vision. Every once in a while, I even attempt to hide my tics if I have to for less than a minute. However, something that still surprises me after 24 years is when strangers have the audacity to mock me. In public especially. I walked in 10 minutes before closing to buy some soap. As I used the self checkout line, one of the employees looked at me directly in the eye, smiled, and then attempted to make the same sound I just made from a tic. I wasn't even the only person there. I guess she thought it was funny enough for an audience. I've seen just about every reaction possible to my tics. I'm willing to think that the employee truly thought it was a harmless joke because she helped me find the soap and told me goodnight afterwards. But seriously? Did no one ever teach her basic decency? Do better next time.

We paid and went and sat directly outside the door. Now, the box of the squishy was pretty damaged, but I didn't think anything of it, so I opened it and the bag, it was in was ripped open, still didn't think anything of it until I took out the squishy and it was broken. so I was kind of mad, and I went inside to see if I could return it and the "manager" told me If the bag was closed , then I could return it so he opened it, and of course the bag was ripped open and he told me that it could not be returned. I argued that it was that it was like that when I bought it, but he told me I was a liar and proceeded to open every single other box to show me that they all came closed and the boxes that he opened were also damaged and most of the bags were ripped open as well and he would hold them closed and tell me that I was lying and they were closed. I didn't feel like fighting him, so I grabbed my squishy and went out the door to my cousin. I told her what happened and she wasn't happy but we decided to leave cause we didn't want to fight anymore P.S " manager's" name is Iris Worst customer service I have ever had. Do not recommend going to friends with grocery wonder why they had to move to a smaller location
