Healthyway Dairy is a wonderful, small, family run raw milk dairy. Mr and Mrs Nelson are so kind, attentive, and helpful. The milk is FABULOUS of course, the local honey and eggs are a nice bonus. I have taken young grandchildren with me to pick up their favorite chocolate milk. Kids have been able to pet the young calves while in the barn, or watch the youngsters get "bottle fed" from feeders along the fence. Always a treat. Do check FB, or reach out to Miss Irene to make sure they have a supply of milk before heading out, but it's well worth the effort. read more

Awesome sauce! Let me start with how absolutely STOKED I am to be able to review this place! I love healthy choices and whole food options so this is where we buy our raw milk, eggs, kefir and honey. As you are purchasing straight from the farmer you have the chance to meet the cows, the owners and the baby cows. Yaaaassssss, baby cows! We always go for Sugars milk as she is the only Brown Swiss of the group. Talk about a cream top! Sugar has the creamiest milk ever. The types of cow they have are Jersey, Guernsey Holstein and a single Brown Swiss. They have A2 milk here for all of you lactose intolerant folks as well. Hurray! :) This is worth the trip to get real raw milk from grass fed cows and organic eggs. So make the trip and go out and support your local cows and farmers you will not be disappointed. On a quest to find healthier milk options, I decided to see if there was a local dairy. I came upon this little farm in Santa Fe, TX and was pleasantly surprised at my experience. When you arrive, you'll see the road dead ends and on the right hand side you'll see a little "tiny house". This is where you can buy the milk, chocolate milk (best I've EVER tasted, only made on certain days), kefir, eggs, meat, etc. It's an honor system, you pay for what you want. There usually is someone outside around the building for any questions, but they may be working! The prices fluctuate sometimes on the items they sale, I would highly suggest keeping an eye on their Facebook page to stay up to date or find specials they have occasionally, especially if it's a longer drive for you. If it's too expensive for you taste, but you still wanted to try, check out a day they have the half gallons on sale. If you do not have cash- they use the "Venmo" app you can send them money through. SO convenient, especially since I intended on only buying one gallon of milk and ended up buying other items. We don't buy the milk too often here, and I've seen others complain about price. It's healthier, however. And as far as I know, they are the only dairy that provides this product in Brazoria and Galveston county that you can buy on site. The cows are happy, the chickens are happy, every animal here seems well taken care of! It was very neat to see a dairy farm. :) read more

Hands down without a doubt the best milk I have ever tasted. I drove 30 minutes TWICE just to try this milk and I'm so glad I did. Make sure you check their Facebook page for availability before making the trip though hence me having to go back a second time. Worth every penny and every mile. Wife found out about this little place right off of Hwy 6 in Santa Fe. Little local fairy farm that sells whole fresh Cow Milk, Butter Milk, and Chocolate Milk if you get there early enough! We've heard that it is really good and she is going to make some cookies with it. I've heard that there is nothing better than drinking it,so I'm going to have to give it a try! We finally made our way. 45 mnt drive from Houston and worth it! You don't know what you are missing. This raw milk is DELICIOUS. come early if u want chocolate milk come early we were only able to get the last small bottle. If you think milk is milk well then you're wrong. This is the best quality milk that you can provide for your family. You can tell that they genuinely take care of their cows and love them unconditionally. I love the fact but the cows always look healthy and clean. Awesome place. I love it, they have fresh eggs, and the milk you can choose which one do you prefer. If you are getting the fresh milk and you want it to make yogourt or cheeses then they explain you which milk is good for you, and you have any additional questions they always answer them without any problem. Very RUDE people! I picked up a gallon of milk for my sister and a young man went in before me. He got 6 gallons of milk and paid for them all. I helped him bring them to his car and a young woman started yelling at both of us that we can't buy more than 2 gallons cause they don't have enough milk. The young man was respectful and said sorry I didn't know. I didn't say a word but wanted to pour the milk out in front of her just to prove a point. But....I had children in my car and didn't want them to see me lose my temper. So I took my 1 gallon and left to give to my sister. I'm am still enraged at them for being so overly rude and disrespectful to an older woman! Never will I say a good word on their behalf! read more
