Found a few markdowns when I only needed dog food, drinks and snacks for the people. I found a good workbook for my nephew 1st grade for 2.00, and a pair of shorts for the newborn boy coming soon. I am a frequent Walmart shopper. I shopped at LaMarque for several years until recently. I have noticed that the shelves are often not well stocked and in disarray. Many items are out of stock, there are rarely any staffed checkout lines and the staff is not very helpful. We now shop at the Kemah Walmart and are AMAZED at the difference. read more

Worst customer service ever. You can never get any assistance in the family planning department. Aside from the store being super messy, with many items being half way open with stolen contents, the employees can't be bothered to help with anything. We were about to ask an employee for help, but she rudely cut us off saying, "I don't have the key!" and ran off without getting us any help from someone who does. We stood there for 15 minutes pressing the "need assistance" button for family planning. When nobody came to help, we left to get our Plan B from CVS. Will never be going there for items that are locked behind a glass because we won't be getting the help we need anyway. read more

As a kid, I loved Wal Mart. As a teenager, I hated Wal Mart. As an adult, I once again like Wal Mart. They just sell decent stuff at great prices. For example, decent water hose. 50 feet long, like 30 or 40 dollars. Look for the same thing on Amazon, it costs me more. Not much to say about Wal Mart that most any one doesn't already know. Most important thing about this Wal Mart location; watch the parking lot traffic very closely. Lots of spots where it would be beneficial to have a stop sign and they just don't for some reason. Speaking of Wal Mart and savings; this reminds me to renew my Sam's club card. Sam's club is like Wal Mart in Super Saiyan mode. read more

Place closes at 11pm and IS NOT OPEN 24 HOURS! I drove 1 1/2 hours to go to this Walmart, and it was closed at 2am. It sucked for me!

The only person who's actually called and ask how I was feeling and doing is the ER.. They actually inquire via follow-up with orthopedic and bone doctor, she actually went over all I can do until I see orthopedic. My knee is in so much pain and I cannot believe the pressure on my leg. Was hoping to spend time with grandson. I'm waiting waiting & waiting to hear from Walmart.. Can't believe I have to wait and Walmart staff and managers so rude. Don't have full coverage. I'm supposed to see orthopedic. Customer service sucks here. Waited 30 minutes for someone in electronics to assist me. Meanwhile, group of young employees stood around and did nothing! Cashier on speaker calling for assistance to help us, saw more young employees coning but they all said they could not help us.After 35 minutes got fed up and left. All these employees walking around the store, young ones huddled in groups gossiping and nobody working. Why hire people who just want to stand around? While they were all standing around having fun, there was several young men in the chip and snack aisle placing stuff inside their loose, slouchy pants and another putting ear buds in his pocket. read more

If I could give a 0 I would. I went in twice for my tire since I had warranty and it kept getting flat guy said it was my rim not tire. Waste of time I went to another Walmart in League city and it was not my rim at all it was the tire so they fixed it. So never again will I go to the auto center in La marque who knows what else they lie about. Save your time and drive to league city is all I'm saying. read more

Had a register clerk yell at me because an item didn't show a price when she scanned it...um, not my job to program your computers sweetheart! the vision center is full of cheaply made frames and prices higher than I eventually paid at a reputable optical shop for name brand quality frames. and when I asked them to email me a copy of the receipt for contacts I ordered for my daughter, she said "we don't have that capability here". Really? in 2019 you don't have email? Dirty food service area in their deli department, filthy bathrooms, employees "sagging" their uniform pants. Like I want to see their underwear?! If I could give Walmart negative 1 million stars, I would. I HATE it with a passion. This particular location has dirty restrooms, and rude employees. I went in one day and was checking out. The cashier decided to have a conversation with another employee IN MY FACE. No thank you. I'm not for their customer service, AT ALL. Then there are 0 lanes open, when there are long lines. It's like no one works there. Their prices are cheap, but expect to get cheap quality stuff. I bought an outfit for my daughter. She wore it once and the colors washed out after the first wash! The League City location is slightly better. So I go there more often. Otherwise, I'll just keep giving my money to Target. read more

This Walmart was deece. This was right across the highway from our hotel so it was the obvious choice for snacks and beer when we needed to stock our mini-fridge. You can get your hair done, nails done, and cash checks here, so it's a fantastic location if you need to do a bunch of stuff at once. The front door greeters were super friendly and helpful when we asked them where items were. This location is HUGE so be prepared to walk pretty far between departments if you only have a few random things to get. Obviously cheap, checkout was fairly easy though you can wait a bit for someone to come check your ID for alcohol purchases, and the parking lot is enormous. Since this is a Supercenter, there's a full grocery with a deli, bakery, etc. and full clothing and home departments. read more

At the checkout register ,I found out there was no way to view the cost of each item purchased. I found out that more than several registers were not displaying the purchase prices. Should the price and weight not charge correctly you wouldn"t know .I feel that walmart should correct this obvious lack of honesty towards their CUSTOMERS, there should be signs saying sorry for the inconvenience. I expect to know what the price of what is being purchased at at the register. There have been many times that prices have not rang up correctly per item, and could be double charged.. This Walmart has yet to give me my tax return or paychecks. Every time I come to shop they put me to work. Considering there is no workers to check you out, you clock in and do it yourself. You can only imagine my disdain when I realized their reviews were downright inexcusable! Their titles, when you are on a mobile device, don't even show up completely! I would just like to say I have used Walmart pick up Grocery for about a year now and since the coronavirus has everything crazy Walmart has been tremendously busy with their grocery pick up. The last time I went to pick up my groceries they only had one man working the grocery pick up and I would just like to complement how wonderful he did. I have shopped at this Walmart 2-3 times a week for the last 3 months without much of an issue. This morning I arrived there about 8:30 to pick up a western union & grab a couple things...I have never used western union before so I was confused & went to the money center & waited in line for a moment. The lady working the counter had a line & was very busy so I looked around for another employee to verify I was in the right spot. I turned around to find "Yvette" at the self check out register talking to an elderly woman she must have known outside of work. I waited for a pause in their conversation so I could ask Yvette what time the bank branch in the store opened. She paused her conversation with the other customer & I asked her when the bank opened...simple enough question right? Her response was " I don't know I don't work there." I responded with, " ok is there anyone you can ask for me?" She seemed to get very annoyed by this & pointed to the banking area & told me, " you can go look over there for the hours." At which time, the very busy lady handling the money center counter, had been listening to the whole interaction & let me know the bank would open at 9. I was taken back by this, I have worked in customer service for the last 10 years...according to Yvette's name tag she has been an employee at Walmart for 10 years...so imagine my surprise when I turn around to continue waiting in line & hear Yvette bad mouthing me to the old woman. I turned back around to ask if I had offended her by asking this question & let her know as a person working in customer service this was not an outrageous request. Her & the elderly woman began to shout back, I walked over to the customer service counter to speak to a manager about the interaction. After speaking to a manager I was waiting for another manager when Yvette & the old woman come to the customer service area to continue the altercation. I joined the two with the manager & explained what happened again only to have yelling from the elderly woman & yvette back in my face. The manager escorted them away to diffuse the situation & in the meantime I spoke to the other manager & relayed the information. She assured me the situation would be addressed. As I walked away to start my shopping I was overwhelmed with what had happened. I began crying uncontrollably, I have never had such a bad experience at Walmart or anywhere else for that matter. It is really sad that Walmart employees are allowed to behave in that manner. I will no longer be shopping at this Walmart. It will be inconvenient, but no store with employees that handle themselves in that manner will ever get another penny from our family. read more

I went to get an oil change here. I drove up to the oil change lane. One care was being service and one car being check in. The guy told me it will be 45min from when they start on it. 45MINS to drain the oil, change a oil filter that is on top of the engine and than refill it. Really !!!! Wal-mart customer service had went out the door. How are you profitable running Oil change service garage? Walmart employees attitudes are unbelievable too. They work slow on purpose to take up your valuable time. But I dont blame them , Walmart management treat them like garbage anyway!!! So why should they care? I went to Walmart last Saturday to pick up a chicken at the deli, 2-3 servers standing around, and I asked if the chicken is done, she pulled one out , packaged it up and gave it to me, I got home , it was the most overcooked and stone hard chicken I ever had , why 3 people are working ???? there and can not get a chicken out on time , why cant Walmart make a good chicken like sam's ( sister company ) just so disappointing read more

I walked in to return a computer I bought the previous day I was at the customer service from 2.23 on to 6.54 pm and they refused to help me return the laptop I had the receipt as well as the card I used they pulled up the transaction just to tell me it's non returnable after talking to corporate they informed me the Walmart managers messed up did the tax except wrong and should be able to return it with no problem I came the next day with my mother and after asking the reason the 3 managers on duty threatened to call security on me and my mother btw I am a Muslim and my mother wears a head scarf the second they started talking to my mother they became very angry and annoyed they told us if we don't leave there going to have us arrested. I am in contact with corporate as well as channel 13 these managers need to be fired I went to two other Walmart's and the managers also explained to me the mistake they made and that they should easily be able to fix instead of just manning up to it they kicked me out and tried to have me arrested never go to this Walmart if you wanna buy any electronics they will do anything to scam you out of your money read more

I've been to Walmart's Coast-to-Coast but I've never seen one this bad. If you are in business college and want to see how a badly managed store is done come here. It's really mostly about the fact that the employees are the most uninspired and slow-moving as possible. That attitude comes from upstairs. Most are on their cell phones which hold priority over getting work done. And this is obviously tolerated by management. Don't even bother with going to the deli. Usually cashiers are very poorly trained. Make tons of mistakes. When you correct them they become rude and defensive.

Could not find anyone to help me find what I needed so I called the store to get ahold of them and no one would answer so apparently no one works here? Will not be coming back and will be letting everyone know about the horrible service. I wish I could give them no stars.
