Derrick helped me navigate a very challenging situation to rebuild the entire back wall of my home and attached deck due to water damage. Scope: New insulation, plywood sheathing, composite siding, soffit, and fascia for back wall. Replaced rim joist, headers, and other structural wood as needed from water damage. Re-installed windows and sliding glass door incorrectly installed by previous contractor. Rebuilt pressure treated wood deck with improved layout. Derrick's attention to detail and pride in his work translated to a solution that addressed all of my goals and helped me understand mistakes made by previous contractors. He spent hours reviewing options and brainstorming with me as more damage was uncovered and the scope had to expand as we went. Overall, could not be happier with my experience and would highly recommend.

I needed a contractor that will get the job done right and Im so glad that I hired Pulse. Derrick came out and measured the deck in minutes, provided samples and suggestions. I knew composite was the way to go so I don't have to worry about maintenance. Within an hour we had a plan. I had a hard time narrowing down colors but helped by offering his suggestions. The colors I picked were some newer options Trex released and Derrick said he was excited to see how it turns out. Derrick and Luke came out and when I watched them work I was highly impressed. They worked like machines; measuring and communicating like a good team should. Luke is clearly a highly skilled carpenter. I had an idea for angled steps and even though it's a bit complicated he took on the project and built some really cool stairs that make my deck unique. Their attention to detail really showed and they kept me informed of their progress through an app with daily updates in what was complete. Communication was top notch and thats important to me. Pulse wasn't the cheapest company, but the value was great. You get what you pay for and Im glad that I finally have a beautiful deck to enjoy. I only wish the rest of my house was as nice as it puts the rest of it to shame. If you're looking for a job done right call Pulse.

Air-Tite said their vendor didn't inform them ahead of time, and was told that they would find an alternate design. The alternate design was provided and accepted by me on 6/18. I was told the order would be placed the following week, and I would be kept up to date "every step of the way." Not hearing anything almost two months later, I followed up on 8/5, and was told they would check and get back to me the next day. After not getting a response, I followed up again. In the follow-up conversation, Air-Tite indicated the windows should arrive in September. After no updates again, I called on 9/25 and was told the windows were due to arrive on 10/2 or 10/3, and that I would receive a call. Again, not hearing anything, I called on 10/4. Air-Tite responded that they believed the windows may have arrived and would get back to me on 10/7. 10/7 came and wentt without a response. Windows were finally installed on 10/30. It took 8 months from my initial order and over 4 months from the alternate window order for completion. At the end of the day I am satisfied with the quality of work, cost, and windows themselves. I also understand custom windows can take time, and am sympathetic if Air-Tite's vendor didn't communicate clear time frames, but I cannot understand the constant lack of timely follow up.

I reached out to Sergio at JP Exteriors on 6/17/26 after a severe storm caused damage to our roof…read more I initially chose this company because they had tremendous reviews on Google and Yelp, and early on, communication was open. Sergio requested the primary insured's name, explained the process, and I sent over our insurance company's summary of dwellings coverage on 6/30/26 following the adjuster's inspection. After following up a few times with both Sergio and my adjuster to see if they had connected, Sergio informed me on 7/14/26 that they had spoken and he forwarded a document to me. However, it turned out to be the exact same paperwork I had already sent him two weeks prior. When I pointed out the duplicate, communication completely stopped. Hoping to clear up the confusion, I called him. He texted back saying he couldn't talk at the moment--which is completely understandable--so I asked him to call me when he had a chance. That is when the customer service took a sharp turn. He responded via text with: "Understand but I am also taking care of more customers." I replied, "Understood, when u have 4 min." That text was sent on 7/15/26. After days of total silence, I decided to make one final effort to resolve this. On July 20, 2026, I called and left Sergio a message asking for a call back by 5:00 PM. I wanted to make one last attempt to fix the situation because I know leaving a permanent, scathing review online is a bridge-burning move that eliminates any chance of a company making things right. Unfortunately, he never returned the call. As a customer with an actively damaged roof exposed to the elements, I was incredibly taken aback by being told other clients were a higher priority, and even more disappointed by the total lack of response to a final deadline. Because of this complete lack of organization, reliability, and basic professionalism, I have lost all trust. I have since contacted my insurance adjuster to revoke JP Exteriors' access to my claim, and I am taking my business to a roofing company that actually values its clients. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere if you expect basic respect and timely communication. I reached out to Sergio at JP Exteriors on 6/17/26 after a severe storm caused damage to our roof.
