I had the worst shopping experience ever today at the local Lululemon store. I scheduled an…read moreappointment for noon, during my lunch hour. I confirmed my appointment at 11:30am. I leave work and arrive at the store at 12:07pm. I checked in with the person at the door and she told me I was late for my appt and that I would be canceled or skipped. I explained to her that I was on my lunch hour and I had to drive there. She kept going on about how i should have texted or called if I was going to be late. She would not stop. There was a person in line behind me that heard the whole thing. I had to stop the check in person and ask her if I can go in or not. I walked in then she proceeded to tell the customer behind me that she had to wait because I was late. I spoke with the manager regarding the whole situation, which she did not apologize for or seem to care at all. This is the last time I will shop at our local store. I went straight to Yelp to find the had a low rating mainly due to customer service. Not sure why because my experience what awesome. This store was once the Bakersfield Scuba location which appears that they took over the business that was next door because from my memory it's a lot bigger. The store was absolutely packed with shoppers and staff that was working there. At first it was hard to tell the difference because other than the few guys that were in there everyone was in yoga pants. I was promptly created by a cheerful eager to make my experience a good one young lady. I told her what I was looking for and within 5 to 10 minutes I had an outfit purchased for my awesome wife. I can see why my friend at work likes this store so much, between the awesome customer service and great selection of clothing for both men and women you could easily spend your pay check her.
