Very Sweet and very nice, Tina is fantastic too! I like to switch having Lynn and Tina do my gel manicure and gel pedicure each time I come in here. :) I always enjoy tipping them the most each time I'm here than any of their other customers usually tip them. I see their customers tip them too low and I always feel for these nail people who wait on literally hand and foot. That's why I love to tip them more. Kevin is funny and great with acrylic nails! And owner, Paula is always so welcoming! Tina did my nails this past Monday in one of my fav fun and what I like to call forever young pink! :D They always have/give me the best price here that no other nail place can beat is half of the reason why I always like to come here. Got my pedicure done here and it was SO PERFECT! Not to mention it lasted so long! Even when I tried to take it off after a few weeks. I've also gotten my brows waxed here several times. It's $6 for eyebrows. They do a really amazing job and always attend me right away. *got acrylic nails twice here now. Once with Paula and once with Kevin. Highly highly recommend them! Stopped by to get a manicure about a week ago and I was in and out in about 20 minutes...It was unreal. Their prices are extremely cheap and they actually have some cute nail polish. I'm always more than happy to give great reviews and support small businesses. HOWEVER I will not support uncleanliness, unsanitary establishments, unprofessional/condescending/rude personnel, or HORRID WORK. I am more than disappointed and frustrated that I paid for such a horrible job and mistreatment. My nails are flat, thin, some are thick, different lengths, and the polish was mediocre. She cut my thumb with her drill and never acknowledged it. When I spoke up and pointed out what I didn't like I was met with attitude while she snatched my hand away from me to "fix it" and was told "I'm not finish yet". Of course now that she is done it looks horrible. Honestly I would've preferred not having my nails done at all. Please do not waste your time or hard earned money at Paula's you will not be satisfied and you will be mistreated. read more

I feel really bad updating my review for Paula's because it is a great place, but I must be unbiased and let everyone know. I come to get my eyebrows waxed here ALL the time($6) so because I was in Gardena this week, I decided to go get my brows done. Everything was going the usual way it does (small talk etc) and then my brow tech says "oh your brow is bald huh" I was so confused and thought she meant the tails of my brows were sparse. When she finally finished, she handed me a mirror and I saw my right eyebrow had a patch of hair missing!!!!! Right away I ask what happened to my eyebrow in which she said it was already like that.... I would not be freaking out if it was "already like that" I wish I knew her name, but to describe her: she's short, has short, somewhat puffy hair(no bangs) and is around her 60s. If she's the only one available, run the other way! Never getting my brows waxed ever again that's for sure. read more

I came here before a road trip with my husband we both got mani pedis and I got gels. Not only was it a bad job the lady doing my mani was sick and even after I asked they did nothing. She got me sick and basically ruined my road trip as long story short I ended up first in urgent care and then in the ER. So, that mani pedi ended up costing me my honeymoon road trip, and over $4000 in medical bills. Not only am I complaining about the lack of professionalism but the lack of human care all together. Im updating to Deannas post about them being open during lockdown. Before you go off on a small business you should get your facts straight. How do you know they weren't hired to come in and do renovations while needing to be closed. The few times I have gone by I have seen work being done inside ladders and tools around. I had just had a conversation regarding regular customers offering to help them with renovations. I bet that was a regular coming in to see what they can do to renovate while they are closed. And it's quite ironic that she slams a business for not being essential during a pandemic while shes flying to texas and picking up a tea ya cause that's essential. SMH nosey rude people. read more

Came in after seeing the decent reviews and wasn't disappointed. I got A regular mani ($12) with Tina. Tina is delightful by the way. She is very sweet and chats with you throughout the process. My mani was pretty solid. My nails weren't perfectly shaped round like my previous mani from choconails but there's a big price gap so it's understandable. It gets very busy here a little later in the afternoon so make an appointment or try to come earlier. I wish there were massage chairs for the pedis though. Service - Everyone is very nice and will try to help you out. Parking - plenty of parking. Parking lot is a little narrow though. I would come back if I was ever in the area read more

For Amanda and waxing services. I only come to Amanda for Brazilian waxing and she is phenomenal. Takes her time and always makes it clean.

They charged me 105$ for a basic normal set. They sprinkled red dust on my nails. So basic and so expensive for what? Idk I feel like they stole money from me. I always get ombré and pedicure and the amount I pay is ALWAYS 70$ never again am I going there, let's see how long these nails last since they were so expensive. read more

I visit this nail salon for a month straight in July 2012. The person who did my gel nails was very nice. The gel polish never last it chipped either the very next day or 2 days later. I mentioned it to the technician and she kept saying it is because my fingernails are split. The pedicure polish also chips off never seen anything like that with a pedicure. Pedicures usually takes forever to come off. They do have good customer service but bad products. Oh yeah went to a salon before that and after and the gel polish never chipped off. read more

My boyfriend lives across the street so while he was at work I walked over to Paula's nails. I didn't have high expectations because I'm really picky and I have my girl in Vegas that I love. But I decided to give them a try considering all the good reviews on Yelp. I decided to kill 2 birds with 1 stone and walk my dog over so he can wait outside while I get them done. Immediately they were so nice and affectionate to my bulldog. They gave him water and even invited him inside. He was so happy and that made me happy. I got my nails done with Kevin. I was reading an interesting article and forgot to explain how I like mine done. Short, thin and narrow. As natural as acrylicks can look. But when we were done they were perfect! Amanda did a nice job on my pedicure too. The vibe inside is really good. They were watching the soccer game so all the nail ladies were yelling and cheering. It was entertaining. I only wish they would have spa chairs but that won't stop me from returning. The price was excellent too! No complaints. read more
