Our dog absolutely loves going to WAGS! She is always exhausted after a day at daycare, so I know she's getting tons of exercise. Other daycares crate your dog during the day and only let them out periodically, WAGS doesn't do that. Our dog is able to run around and play with her friends all day. If you want your dog to be crated for a nap or you would like them to be fed lunch, they will accommodate that as well. They have both indoor and outdoor play-areas, with mini playgrounds for the dogs, and pools in the summer. They also have comfy couches for dogs to relax on when the need a little R&R. They post a lot of photos on Facebook, and do cute events during the year too (if you take your dog to WAGS you are guaranteed a ton of adorable pet photos). The following is a letter/feedback we sent to Wags Dog Club after our dog was injured within their care. In reply to our letter, Wags responded questioning if the injury even occurred on their property. To the staff and management of Wags Dog Club , In the last few months since Merlin's injury that occurred while under your supervision, we've stressed over and analyzed all avenues to which has led to us sending this letter to you and your team. As many of you are pet owners, we know that the last call you'd ever want to receive would be like the one you gave on January 5th. My husband and I would like to think that since Merlin started attending your daycare that we as pet owners were laid back and didn't ask too much from your staff. We didn't push back when we paid for his nails to be trimmed, only to see that they weren't. We can count more than a handful of times repeatedly asking if his nails had been trimmed and we were assured they were, even though you could see that not even the tips of the nails had been touched. We didn't push back the time Merlin came home with teeth marks on his abdomen. You said you didn't notice, so we took your word for it. We weren't upset when Merlin came down with a slight case of kennel cough. Even if that meant your team wasn't cleaning properly. That's why we keep our pets vaccinated, right? The pictures you took of him dressed up for special events/holiday, where you could tell the staff hastily threw the outfits on him and his face was always covered in gunk. We never complained and always paid for each picture. We also didn't complain the time your staff brought the wrong dog out to our car. Even after telling the staff that it was the wrong dog, and them insisting they gave us the correct dog, we still trusted you and your team. With all of that being said, when you called on us January 5th to tell us there was an incident and Merlin would need to be seen by a vet, we would have assumed you would have been honest with us. We would have assumed that you and your staff even if Merlin wasn't one of your favorite dogs would have followed up to see how he was doing. Instead, between your understating how severe his wound was (saying he had a gash did not begin to encompass the gravity of the situation), to telling us that you have no idea how he was hurt, and that he never cried out in pain, make your actions even more disconcerting. The fact that it's a lie you were comfortable telling us, shows that we 100% misplaced our trust in your staff. By you telling us that you have no idea how Merlin was injured tells us that you were not supervising the dogs. Which would make us wonder, how long did our pet run around with a hole in his shoulder? The thing is, there would have been blood, even if Merlin had managed to get caught on some sort of equipment, the hole on his back would have bled a lot. There is no way that someone was randomly petting him and just happened to notice he had a wound large enough to need stitches and a drainage tube. But we know as well as you, that the injury came from another dog. Besides his larger wound you could see where the other dog's teeth scraped his skin. Truthfully, had Wags been upfront about the incident, telling us that "Dog B" attacked Merlin, the only thing that would've changed is we would have asked moving forward to no longer place Merlin in that group and to keep him and the other dog apart. We get it, this is something that could have happened in our own backyard. What we don't get is why you weren't honest. Or that no one from your staff ever called to check on him. Which further showed us that our beloved pet was only a number to you and we cannot trust you. My husband and I are all for helping small/locally owned businesses (one of the reasons we loved sending Merlin to your daycare) and we understand that leaving bad reviews can be detrimental to small businesses, much like yours. But as the months have gone by and we've had a lot of time to reflect on the situation we decided to send you a letter to let you know just how much your lack of care affected us. Because of this, we will be sharing our story/feedback with others, for anyone that is interested to know what type of business ethics you uphold. read more

OUR DOG WAS VIOLENTLY ATTACKED AND SENT TO THE EMERGENCY VET. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE FOR THEIR OWN SAFETY. My husband and I were going out of town and got a call that another dog attacked our dog completely unprovoked and that he needed to be sent to the emergency vet. We immediately had to cancel our trip and drive 6 hours home. The employees completely underplayed what had happened, and as our dog was taken to the emergency vet we finally were able to get the true story -- that a large, VIOLENT pitbull that a Wags employee admitted to us that they had FULL KNOWLEDGE of it's behavioral issues and it's "high prey drive" (a direct quote), went after our dog and put EIGHT PUNCTURES (we find more every day) in his chest, legs and neck, as well as a LACERATION so big that they needed MULTIPLE STAPLES to close. They have this attack on video and will not release it. They also will not release the name of the owner to us or the police, because apparently protecting their own image is more important than making sure this dog doesn't harm again. The initial response from the owner Mary was a shameful 6-sentence email, letting us know that she was "sorry for the inconvenience" and thanked us for "expressing our concerns" as they "provided Wags with the opportunity to learn." It's shocking to hear that our dog getting mauled under Wags' care is your "learning opportunity." You may think that Wags is a "family" facility that cares for your dog but as soon as something like this happens their true colors come out. If they cared, they would provide the owner information so that this doesn't happen to anyone else. Attached is a photo of our dog's injuries (this is far from all of them, just the one i could get without having to move him and put him in more pain) as well as a review I came across 4 days ago, corroborating the attack. Not only were we lied to about how "quickly" the dog was able to be removed from our dog's body as it viciously bit holes in him, but they also have apparently fired an employee, rather than take accountability for the undeniable negligence of their facility. If this can happen to our dog, it can happen to ANY dog and why take the risk? The management is abhorrently negligent and the injuries our dog sustained are devastating. We are so grateful that we have a big dog because if he was any smaller we fear that this could have killed him. We beg you, even if you are a long-time user of Wags, to reconsider as it could cost your dog's health, or even life. read more

We absolutely love it here. The staff is always so welcoming and friendly. We have been going since my puppy was old enough to get all of his required shots. Oakley knows when he is going and absolutely loves it. He whines the whole car ride there. I can not talk more highly of the facility. My experience was 2 years ago but based on how frequently I've heard people mention the name Wags and reading current reviews, feel it necessary to add my own. My dog wasn't attacked nor did she attack anyone. I was told however that she was too energetic and not allowed to come back. I was so concerned that my dog was a bad dog and worked with a trainer. After working with a trainer who confirmed she is a typical energetic bulldog with no aggressive tendencies, and found a new daycare with staff and dogs who ADORE her without a single report of a problem and familiar with different play patterns - I wonder on the experience of their the staff. My sweet girl is a social butterfly who wants to play with everyone. On one hand I'm thankful they acknowledged their inability to care for her in a safe way so I can find a place who truly understood her needs. On the other hand, a dog day care should make it a priority to have better trained staff. It's not all about hiring staff who want to work with wagging tails and fluffy dogs. There is a certain standard of knowledge staff should have. They may be good for low key dogs, but high energy dogs or large breeds are probably better served elsewhere with better trained staff. read more
