Scorched Frijoles Service was quick and friendly. Menu items ordered were Carne Asada dinner, Steak burrito, chicken torta. The steak in the Carne Asada was tender and flavorful. The chicken torta was just ok. Cooked in a reddish chile. Steak burrito was fine. The arroz was good. The problem was that all three items had frijoles. Decided to try this cozy Beecher hidden gem and was not disappointed. Service was quick and the restaurant had a nice traditional atmosphere. What was ordered: Chicken Quesadilla (5/5) - Had the right amount of cheese and the chicken had good flavor to it. Chicken Taco (3/5) - Chicken was good but overall was a bit dry. Might need to order it a different way if you are not a dry taco person. Rice and Beans (5/5) - Overall, some top notch rice and beans. Compared to other Mexican places I have gotten rice and beans, it's on the upper tier. read more

Greasy tacos, the steak has good flavor, the chorizo is garbage... tasted like ground cardboard and foam soaked in raccoon urine. Guacamole was pointless. Zero flavor. Used to be good years ago but man has it gone downhill. Shame. read more

Liked it and will go back. Had the pork chimichanga and it was very good! Beans were great, rice good but pretty plain. We just spent 17 years in California so we are used to great Mexican food and weren't sure what to expect. Pleasant surprise!. If you find it a bit bland as some have said, there's always hot sauce (and theirs is good). read more

Good is pretty good . Nice place to order Togo from ! Never had any issues with them and everything is always ready really fast . I am not too much of a fan of their chicken tacos but the steak tacos are delicious! ( kind of greasy tho but it is fast food so that is expected ) . The guacamole is good but the best . Ok...here's the thing. We've been living out here for a year and a half. This is a pretty decent place to get tacos. But lately they have been dropping the ball on our order. Getting a little ticked off especially when we make it home and the food isn't right. So now I guess before I leave I better check my Taco to make sure the right stuff is on it. Uggggg. Get it together. The Carne Asada tacos are really good. I've had better Chicken Tacos. The Guacamole is extremely bland. But all in all not bad food. read more

Food is good, freshly made and comes out fast. This place is more authentic than Chipotle. The steak tacos are great. The salsa and guacamole are delicious, we usually buy them to bring home and snack on. With the limited options in Beecher, I'd say we're lucky to have Habanero. read more

When they first opened I got a steak burrito. Turned out to be half full of rice. I don't know about others, but if I wanted a rice meal, I would have gone to King's Wok Chinese food next door. It's just cheap filler, and any quality Mexican restaurant wouldn't use this ingredient, especially in the quantity they did. Basically they make their food cheaply and it shows. read more

Classic quick Mexican food. The chips were good. The salsa was kind of bland. The rice was also a little Bland. The refried beans were authentic and very tasty. The chimichanga was crispy the meat was good but did not care for the fact that they put the lettuce and tomato inside the chimichanga before they fried it. While the food tasted good, the costumer service was atrocious. The two women takeing orders were rude and impatient. When we finally received our order it was mostly incorrect. We ordered their corn in a cup which was quite literally corn in a cup, it lacked the toppings that were promised. My 5 year old son ordered their nachos, which they failed to mention were spicy. To top it all off I tried to order menudo (which was on the menu) and was asked to speak English. Most of the toppings in our tacos and burritos were wrong. We received a little resistance when we brought it to their attention. I can say that I would never recommend or visit this establishment again. read more

If you like authentic Mexican food this is not the place for you. This is your typical Americanized Mexican restaurant. Very similar to La Mex. The food here is missing all the traditional Mexican flavors. The food is very bland for Mexican food. I've eaten here twice and both times left very disappointed. my family and I have all tried this business and the service on all three occasions was incredibly lacking. We waited 15-20 minutes and the place was empty except for some rowdy teenagers that appeared to know the staff. The staff chatted and lollygagged instead of getting our orders together. It was overpriced as well. Just because your the only mexican restaurant in the area doesn't mean you can charge an arm and a leg. read more

Food is made fresh not reheated. Tacos and burrito bowls are really good. Everything I have tried is delicious, they got like 3 different kinds of hot sauce from mild to extremely hot. There hot is made from habanero peppers I recommend only add a couple drops at a time. But try it read more

Steak fajita burrito was just about inedible. Peppers were hardly cooked. The steak bites were small and still tough to chew.

food is horrible, meat wasn't cooked all the way, salsa was disgusting. i am highly disappointed with the food.
