After 14 weeks of pregnancy, my baby passed away and I went to the offices to see what the next step was. I had a D&C performed by the doctor himself, although at the time I considered him to be impersonal and cold. I am thinking that might have had to do with the emotions I was going through at the time dealing with my loss. My subsequent follow up appointments have been really great and I have found him to be personable, knowledgeable and friendly. My current pregnancy has been great under his care and he was able to take care of me and assuage my fears when I had some scary symptoms early in my pregnancy. I just had my anatomy scan this past week and the technician was also friendly and knowledgeable. My insurance is accepted here and the office staff is friendly. He up until recently shared a practice space with the late Dr. Huneycutt and Dr. Hernandez, who has since moved across the hall into their own space. So there might be another doctor for the same offices soon. Dr. Paas is associated with St. Mary's Hospital and all surgeries and deliveries take place there. There is a monthly raffle to receive a small starter baby formula kit each month (I won!) and also free copies of American Baby magazine each month as well.

That took me to the hospital 3 times, while they changed my medication over the phone! Sent me home with an UTI which I believe Lead to pre term labor. A week in the hospital, traumatic delivery, couldn't walk for 2 week. He left the room when I was pushing the baby to change his pants. Now I am left with bills and pain for his lack of professionalism.

I…read morekept that day open just for that schedule so you can imagine being cancelled without being informed. I wish Patients could charge dr offices for scheduled appointments that offices cancel without informing the pts. So today I paid $20 for this visit only to be handed my lab results which I could have gotten from the lab myself. So I told her, that's it!?! And she goes yes, unless there's something else you want us to do. But with your pain at 5/10 and considering the side effects( of the meds she was suggesting), it's not worth it. So I go, I thought you could at least give a reason why I am having these headaches. Then she goes, "why?", "I can't give you a why. The MRI can't give you a why". So I though to myself, why then did you now just hand me an order for MRI if it won't give me a why. So, I paid $20 for nothing?!? If only I knew that you cannot give me a why, then I should not have spent those $20 for my dr visits with you. I am now requesting for a refund. If all my lab results are normal, and you have nothing more to say to me, then please, please, please, DO NOT schedule me for another office visit. that's a bad way of taking money from your nonsuspecting patients... Trusting that you could help them get to a "why", which you obviously can never find. #disappointed and pissed

I saw him in Spring, 2019, so am a bit tardy in writing what appears to be his first Yelp review. I did want to have my patient impressions put out to the community. #1) In regard to Dr. Slotnick's expertise in genetics, I believe he is an expert and he will certainly have no problem with telling you this himself. #2) My first appointment was fine. My second follow up consultation appointment was not. Dr. Slotnick expressed his anger with me as I was 10 minutes late for a 30 minute appointment. But, really?? Just move on and shorten your consultation. He actually only did a 10 minute consult with me anyway. And, he couldn't locate some of my records while I was in his office. He said his computer system wasn't working. #4) Dr. Slotnick is an old guy and probably started practicing when doctors were considered gods. I"m probably his same age and women no longer do well with arrogant physicians. I did speak w/him very calmly but directly at the end of my appointment about his rudeness toward me. I'm pretty sure he's not used to having patients provide feedback to him. So, the bottom line is, I believe Dr. Slotnick is an expert in his field so 5 stars there....However, his arrogance and treating a patient (me) like a reprimanded child just didn't work for me. So he gets a 1 for bedside manner. I'll average that out to a 3 for his first Yelp review.

She is…read moreblunt and unapologetic when talking with parents, if you don't want a pediatrician who tells you where the bear does his business in the woods, she might not be for you. Caveat over, she is incredibly kind and gentle with the children in her care, she is very attentive, she has an unnerving habit of answering questions before I even knew I needed to ask them, and she is incredibly hands on. Her office staff is very professional and very quick to return calls (on the very rare occasion that they aren't able to answer immediately). Parking can be a bit of a hassle, but frankly, how lucky would we all be if every practice were so good that all you could complain about is parking.

Had an appointment with Dr. Alkia (sp?) after dealing with a health issue involving chest pains at…read morean Urgent Care that recommended me to establish a Primary Care in order to set up a longer term plan for care. Dr. Alkia spent almost the entirety of the visit discussing the vaccinations I had as a child, completing forms on his laptop. I don't even think he read the notes from the PA of the Urgent Care or listened to me at all regarding the basis for this visit. I left feeling this was a complete waste of time and co-pay and without the slightest inclination that he cared about my health or wellness. Strongly recommend avoiding this practice.
