Shouldn't he get out the measuring tape and find out? Then he wanted to sell me pants that clearly did not fit well, because he did not want to do the alterations? Stay clear of this f'ing Card. I called and asked a very specific question. He said he could do it and have it ready on the day I needed it. I drove there immediately. Once I arrived, he said he isn't a custom tailor so he can't do it. He just wasted my time and gas. I always call ahead to keep from wasting my time! read more

I was in the fitting room, putting my pants on, to have pinned for the Taylor to hem. Evidently I wasn't going fast enough for the person. He verbalized sarcastically, What are you doing taking a shower? I brace on my left leg. This makes it take longer to get things done. I was livid when I left the store. I will never go back there, if it weren't that I need the pants for Christmas I would have walked out! They will never see me again & I will never recommend them to anyone!!!! read more

I was able to bring a pair of pants that I needed hemmed and taken in at the hips at around 3-4 in the afternoon and he got them done for me the next morning no problem! I can't roll with the prices here. It was $56.00 to slightly shorten the bottoms of four pairs of dress pants. And CASH ONLY. For that price I could have just gotten new pants. I brought up the cost with Habib and he wouldn't cut me a deal at all. In addition, I brought in two pairs that were new with tags. When I returned to get my pants, all the tags were ripped off. Kind of strange. I keep the tags in case I want to buy the same fit/style later. The quality of the actual hemming was very good. Everything fit right and Habib chalked the pants and made sure the pants would fit with my work shoes I brought in. Overall, the cost really ruined the experience for me. read more

Terribly rude. Zero customer service. Price was a little steep too. Habib said he would call when my zipper was fixed...that didn't happen. He had my coat 5 days just to fix the zipper pull (not the teeth, just the zipper pull/tab). Will not be going back. read more

I`m short, so almost any time I buy a jacket, and always when I buy pants, alterations are required. At 48 years old, I can say that I have been using tailors and seamstresses for 30 years or more. In that time, I have found that most are consistently good, or consistently bad. Habib though, is really the best of the best that I have used. Every time that I have used his services, he has exceeded my expectations. He`s reasonable and accommodating as well. On top of it all, he seems to truly love life and always has a smile on his face. Habib the Tailor was one of the shops I visited when I embarked on a hunt for a good suit. What I liked about Habib was that I didn't have to wait around to get service. There are no bored workers here, only people happy to help you find whatever you're looking for. However, the selection in Habib is less than that of other stores in the area. Though it's a very well put together store, not nearly as crowded as Jabbar's, the reason is becaus Habib has fewer suits to choose from. For this reason, I tried on a few suits, but purchased none. I simply couldn't find a suit that I liked. I knocked one star off for the smaller stock size, but really someone with different tastes could possibly find a dozen suits that were exactly what they wanted. I can't really slight Habib just because they didn't do that for me. And I would've expected to have at least gotten a sigh when I tried on a bunch of suits and didn't buy one. They were super cool and that's a rarity indeed. read more

I usually never write reviews, but in this case it's seem just too important to let it slide. I had two pants that were just a little long and needed to be shortened. Although $24 seem to bit pricey, I approved it, and decided to give them a try. So, I picked up my pants today, a week later and they were not ready. It seems as though he waits to the last minute for the final pressing. One pair seemed fine, the other was stitched with the wrong color thread. I would make a big deal out of it if I felt like I hadn't overpaid. I would never go back. read more

This is one of those rare finds that you wished you would have found years ago! The gentleman / master tailor / owner, Habib is an absolute pleasure to deal with. I only TRUST the tailoring of my high-end suits to him. He has an excellent eye for fit, and he tailors my suits by hand to make them look even better than the design was intended for my body type. Through my interactions over the years with Habib, I have learned that the most important aspect to the overall look of clothing is by far the fit. It truly does not matter how much one spends on clothing, if they do not fit correctly, then they just don't look like they're supposed to. By taking garments to Habib, and having them tailored by his expert hand, you WILL see a big difference in how your clothes look! I dropped my son's suit off to be altered, and picked it up a week later. Standard transaction. I decided to drop off my outer jacket to be fixed and pre-paid (elastic band at bottom needed re-attached, $20). I was told stop back by in a week. I stop by in a week, he hasn't touched it.
