This is the best meal I've had in maybe 3 years. I travel full time in a van and always look at reviews before I eat somewhere but sometimes they say it's good and it's not. It's relative to the location. But this place is not one of them! I'd give it 10 stars not 5! First the baba ganoosh is the best I've ever had in the US and the olive oil on top was such high quality you can taste how high quality it is. The chicken schwarma plate came out looking like a piece of art. As if the chef really cares about the person being served the food, like he was serving his mother, not some stranger. The taste of EVERYTHING was SOO GOOD and listen, I don't say that lightly, I am a food snob and if I eat somewhere I'm not wasting my money or calories on junk. I ate so much i feel like it's Thanksgiving! Coming from San Diego, I was hoping for something similar to Luna Grill. Unfortunately, this place wasn't quite what I expected. The meat isn't grilled or marinated--just heavily dry-seasoned. The chicken was tender, but it lacked the flavor and depth I was hoping for. If you're looking for the classic Luna Grill-style taste--marinated, grilled meats with rich seasoning--this isn't it. We stopped in for an early dinner on a weekday. They weren't busy, there was one table with one person seated when we arrived. The gal behind the counter was very nice and told us to sit wherever. She turned the AC on when we arrived (which was good timing, you could tell that it was getting ready to get warm, especially with the sun on that side of the building).Our drink order was simple - water and soda. They do have a bar, I didn't look at it closely or even notice if they listed adult beverages on the menu. You get complimentary Lentil Soup which was quite good. I can't remember the last time I had Lentil Soup, so it was extra special.The menu has lots to choose from. I love a good Gyro meat, so started with that and then decided to have it on a salad, I chose the Tabbouleh. The salad was obviously fresh but it hit my bitter taste buds pretty hard - do not judge it by me, because the hubs really liked it. I am assume it's made to order so they likely can give me less lemon next time, or I'll try a Greek Salad. But, the Gyro meat was quite good (and, yes, we will be going back).The hubs ordered Chicken Shwarma with fries and really enjoyed it.Serving size was plentiful. He brought home fries and half the shwarma and I brought home half of the gyro meat (it's what we'll be having for lunch today!).They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. They offer online ordering and catering, too. A few folks came in to pick up their orders while we were there.The tables were clean, wooden tables with a plastic topper and paper slid underneath - I believe that one of the pieces of paper may have been happy hour specials (that's what I read in another review) but the font was a little small and the document wasn't placed well for all 4 seats at the table. I'm not a fan of the paper notes under the plastic. It cheapens the experience; they offer proper silverware and cloth napkins, then notes under that plastic table topper. First of all, I want to start this review by saying that the food was delicious. My boyfriend and I were out running errands and he'd just gotten his shot at CVS and asked me how Mediterranean food sounded for lunch. Yum. We come in and the lunch specials are on the table. When I say that, I mean they are literally ON the table. There's a glass top and it's on a piece of paper underneath. Chicken shawarma, falafel, burger, a burger, etc with your choice of fries, rice, or hummus. I order chicken shawarma with fries. He gets falafel with fries. Also we both get a lemonade. I order blackberry mint (and she hears watermelon - what?!?) so I correct her. Cucumber mint for Mr. Boyfriend. She comes back out with our lunch and I'm a little confused by the pile of fries with chicken on top. I didn't order shawarma fries, but okay. He gets a very ordinary looking falafel pita. Not falafel piled on fries. Makes sense. The fries are Parmesan with about seventy five pounds of Parmesan on them. I like Parmesan but this is obscene. And to be fair the shawarma was good. The waitress meanders over towards the table and we ask for boxes. The gentlemen near us get their bill. The waitress seats someone else. Talks to the couple watching speed skating with their cute baby. She takes a couple's order and they get their food BEFORE we get the boxes. Mr. Boyfriend goes up to pay and get the boxes, and figured that he might as well pay while he's at the counter. The total is consuderablt higher than it should be. Why is that? Because the waitress, who is obviously hard of hearing, did not hear "chicken shawarma AND fries", has a bee in her bonnet about not mentioning the lunch special. Maybe it's just me, but I would think that if you have the lunch special advertised and folks are dining with you between 11 and 2, the wait staff would ask if you want the lunch special. That's been the experience that I've had in multiple places. We ended up paying considerably more than we should have *because* the waitress did not do the things that wait staff should have. The food was very good but the experience was *extremely* frustrating. Also, who makes shawarma fries with Parmesan? I mean, really. I doubt we'll be back. read more

Service was good there was a cute little girl helping out. I couldn't have the lentil soup because I don't eat chicken bullion but they were nice enough to give me some hummus instead. The hummus was very good. I had the falafel wrap and it was above average in my opinion. Very flavorful and nice and crispy. The hummus went really well with it. My son enjoyed his beef shawarma, my wife loved her gyro, my daughter didn't really care for her burger but who orders a burger from a Lebanese place? It wasn't cheap but I feel the flavor and quality justified the price. It did take a while but we were just hanging out so it was no problem. This was a random stop on a road trip and what an unexpected surprise. It was very very good! The owner was super friendly, almost to a fault haha he gave an incredibly thorough rundown of the menu and definitely a rehearsed sales pitch on their homemade lemonades. But it worked I guess, since I bought one haha gotta respect the passion! Keep in mind their savings are GENEROUS. Including the lemonade - it was huge! That being said, size did not forgo quality. The food was awesome. All my proteins were perfectly tender and juicy, and the rice was comforting and savory. Ironically the only negative item was the complimentary lentil soup. We were traveling from San Diego to Phoenix so a food stop was required. I sorta hate "fast food"and was hoping to find an alternative. I love Mediterranean thought I'd give it a try. BIG MISTAKE. I ordered a falafel and a wrap which came with fries. Sounded like a good travel meal. 1. Everything was overcooked and dry. 2.Even the French fries were bad. So I paid $30 for absolutely inedible falafel, no pita, watery tahini, and split the wrap with my husband. Haven't found any good alternatives in Yuma yet and it's a shame, they could be an oasis for weary travelers. I would like my money back!! My suggestion is to stick with a chain. So sad. read more

Staff is not trained on what the dishes are, they cant even explain simple things. Service is mediocre at best, I was never offered more drinks and saw the waitress once we were done with food. The lamb of the kebab platter was like trying to eat rubber and tasted funny. Chicken kebab was dry and cold. The Gyro also was dry. Pita bread came dry and hard, I assume everything was cold because it sat on the window for a while. The hummus, salad and rice were amazing, tho. Loved it! I'm always on the lookout for a place that offers good vegan/ vegetarian options and this place came up a few times in passing. The famous lentil soup, served up with a type of chip is a great intro to the meal. We ordered the dolmas, something you don't see very often on a menu. New to me, but my brother suggested them and we really enjoyed it as a tangy and healthy appetizer. Next, my veggie falafel wrap appeared, with the standard fries, well seasoned. My brother and I agreed the texture was on par, just enough sauce and some pickles to give it a great crunch. Chill atmosphere inside, and I didn't notice at first that they have a great patio, but would definitely sit out there next time. Between the chicken wrap, gyro, and falafel wrap, everyone was quite surprised and impressed with their food! Service was great, we were the first ones in on a Saturday morning when they opened.
