We stopped in for a quick bite, the ordering kiosk was closed/not working. Total wait time was about 17-19 minutes. The server was polite and quickly took our order. I work for a local ambulance service. I had ordered a combo meal @11:15am on DoorDash for pick up and expected to be ready @11:37am, unfortunately we got a call and needed to respond. I got back to station at 12:40 about an hour later I went inside got my order and visibly saw that the food was soggy and we all know that a soda that's sitting for an hour won't be good anymore either. I kindly asked the cook if it can be remade and the reason. That I picked it up late was because we had a emergency to respond to. He was kind and gladly started to remake it. I want to say thank you to the cook. The reason I give a bad review was when the manager that guy that serves the food I didn't get his name but I will describe him how I see it (Mexicano, brown with facial scaring from acne) started to speak in Spanish was enraged he started to shake his head in disbelief, started to THROW all the food out on the table and decided to give me dirty looks....he then said something about us ambulance drivers. While I believe we are normal people with a duty to act on emergency situations we don't believe in special treatment...it's a rainy day and I just wanted a warm meal after being out in the rain. The atmosphere quickly did not feel okay it felt more tense and I did not feel welcomed. Once the manager got my food he practically just shoved my food on table and quickly walked off. I really wanted to talk to him about why he was acting as such I don't think it was professional for him to act that way when it's not his money or his own business. I travel all over California, Nevada & Utah, I've been to countless Habit restaurants. The 2 managers at this location seriously do not know the first thing about running a good restaurant. They're both very mean spirited. If you ask them for anything, they'll get mad and angry with you. The head manager was so mean to us, it's seriously unbelievable he's actually a manager. The first time I had a problem was when I made an online order, and went to the restaurant to pick it up. I went through the drive-through because I had my very new newborn in the car. The staff member told me I was required to come inside to pick up my food. I told him I had my newborn and I could not leave him in the car. He stated "I'll let you go through the drive through THIS ONE TIME." He was very rude, and I couldn't figure out why I would have been required to go inside just to pick up the food I ordered online. Another time my husband went with our toddler and ordered inside. The staff member charged him twice for his food. It took quite a while for the staff member to issue a reimbursement, and we did not get the reimbursement into our bank account for at least five business days. The staff member also did not give us a drink that we had ordered. In addition, the salad I ordered was rotten, and tasted horrible. My husband went here again, two days ago. Once he got to the front of the line to order, the staff member who was at the register walked away without explanation. Nobody acknowledged my husband, and it took a few minutes for anyone to come back and ask him if they could help him. Also, they forgot a drink that he had ordered AGAIN. I just don't understand the service here. They make it very complicated when it could be so much simpler and they are very rude. read more

Went to the Habit last night for dinner, gotta say they were on it! The manager (who I've seen at the Ventura location) was running the register. He was on top of it and super nice. He thanked us for coming in and it was actually genuine. It wasn't the half-fast small chit chat. Which was nice for a change. Based off past experience with the habit at this location, we've walked in looked around and left. I get it, worked in restaurants many years though when the trash cans are over flowing, tables are dirty, and staff are just standing around it gives it not a good look. Bug Fan of original location in Goleta! This one however not so much... Went to drive thru, 1 car ahead waiting to order. That took several minutes Was asked to wait when I pulled up to order. Placed order, asked for "well done fries" most people I know like their fries cooked to doneness? Ordered a 1/2 & 1/2 order or fries and onion rings and an extra order of onions rings. Which cost 4.49! And what I got was NOT what I ordered! I received limp barely warm fries and the onion rings were extra brown and not even warm!!!!!! Burger was great as always. I don't know about other people but with the cost of everything now days it seems getting what you ordered should be what you get! I was at the habit Burger Grill in Ojai today and they had horrible customer service. I walked in and walked to the front counter, waiting to be assisted by a cashier five minutes, went by and one of the cashiers asked the manager if he could help us then the manager proceeded to tell that cashier in Spanish, thinking I wasn't gonna be able to understand the language and saying how he should let us wait because we have kiosks available around us for contacts I am young visibly so and do not own a credit card we waited for 20 minutes and while waiting, I noticed that the cook proceeded to tell another cook that we were standing there and staring at them in Spanish again once we got our food, I said gracias and the manager proceeded to drop his jaw. Many of us up in Ojai were very excited to hear that The Habit would be taking over the old Wendy's location. There are very few casual family, friendly restaurants in the area, not counting fast food like McDonald's and Taco Bell. Our family said we wouldn't go the first couple of weeks because they would be so busy but we decided to check out the drive-through. To be honest, we were surprised they were going to keep the drive-through, I don't think any Habit Burger locations have a drive-through because they are not your typical fast food and it takes a little bit longer.... in any case the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was just what you would expect and very much the same as the food we would get at the Ventura location. as we thought the drive-through did take a little bit longer than your standard drive-through, but it was well worth it. We have visited a few times since they've opened and although there is a little bit of a wait, everything has been just as it should be each time. The orders have been correct, the food has been hot and fresh and the staff have all been friendly. When it cools off a bit and the front patio will be a nice place for people to hang out and have lunch- I'm so glad they added that in the remodeling of the building! read more

I just received horrible service from your drive through. My order was missing my fries and I got the attention of a worker who told me that I didn't order fires but she would give them to me anyway. When she came back I tried showing her my receipt and she wouldn't even look at it and gave me attitude as if I was in the wrong. I have had items missing from my order before which is why I checked the bag. I will never go back and will file a complaint with the corporate office on Monday.
