As someone who shops many estate sales, this company is top-notch! They clearly mark entrances exits any uneven pavement locations you're allowed to enter and or not enter. Wow this was one of the best estate sales I've ever been to. Definitely one with the best styling and attention to detail. Christy has a real talent and it shows when you walk through the space. I normally don't leave reviews, but I feel it's important to warn others about my experience with this business. They were dishonest and misleading in the way they handled things. What was promised up front was not what I actually received, and when I tried to address the issues, they avoided accountability instead of resolving the situation they lied that I canceled the pickup; I never happened. I never received what I paid for and never received a refund even a partial one. They got to keep the sofa and my money. So sad there are greedy businesses out there that take advantage of others. Please be very cautious before working with them. Do your research, ask for everything in writing, and double-check the details so you don't end up in the same situation I did. Consumers deserve honesty and transparency--unfortunately, I didn't find that here. read more

We had a large estate to dispose of after the passing of our father. We interviewed numerous companies before selecting Habitat Estate Sales to assist in the difficult task of the disposition of a lifetime (97 years) of possessions. Christy and her team did a wonderful job! They were all so nice to work with. They were efficient in both set-up and clean-up. Christy has the eye of a decorator, setting things up in attractive arrangements and displays like a store. When all was said and done, she arranged for a team to come in and remove everything that was leftover, leaving is with an empty, "broom swept" home and garage. I found Christy to be professional, prompt, pleasant and honest. She was also patient and sensitive with family who found parting with Dad/Mom/Grandparents possessions difficult. This is the most efficiently run estate sale I have ever been to. And I have been attending them since I was a child. So many estate sales are a big jumble of stuff . The items at this sale were all clean, sorted, and clearly marked (at reasonable prices, too.) The staff really knew what they were doing, so organized! And keeping Covid guidelines, too. Very difficult to do with this type of crowd. They really regulated the number of people inside. They even run checking out smoothly AND accepted cards. Popped in at a neighborhood sale. I usually look for antiques and art deco jewelry. Asked Kristy the owner if they had any jewelry and she - with an air of arrogance- not befitting an estate sale owner, said 'we only have fine jewelry', I responded, I'd love to take a look, and she got super annoyed and said they're all over $1500. So I said, that's fine, can I see them? And she looked at me like ' you can't afford that.' So rude and condescending. Just because someone goes to estate sales, it doesn't mean they lack funds. I'm a successful physician , and I love antiques. This lady needs to be ashamed of herself and I absolutely regret the purchase I made. I will make sure my neighbors and friends hear of this and boycott this business. read more

Spectacular experience. I called the contact phone number on an online estatesales.net and spoke to Chrisy to confirm if an item pictured was still at the sale as it was a bit too far 1.5hr away to drive on a whim for the one item. She was fantastic to talk to! Bright and helpful and confirmed the item was still avail and offered to ship it to me instead of me driving there. She provided me pics and price via text and we confirmed the item would be sold to me and she would hand off to a third party shipper after payment. I recd an invoice and paid online no fuss and was contacted promptly by the shipper and paid direct and recd the fragile item in perfect condition the following day!! After my husband's mom passed away we were overwhelmed with two lifetime's worth of furniture, housewares, clothing, electronics and everything in-between. Surprisingly, when I pressed him for a "contract" he got skittish, which made me question proceeding with him. I went to an estate sale today in Anaheim hosted by Habitat Estate Sales. I found a vintage lipstick case that I was considering buying and was holding onto it while shopping the rest of the house. I didn't find anything else that struck my interest so I decided to check out. Before approaching to purchase, I looked in my wallet to see if I had any cash (which I did not) and decided I wouldn't go along with the purchase as the lipstick holder (which didn't have a price on it) was probably around $1-3 based on like items in the house and I didn't want to use a credit card for such a small purchase. I went out of my way to put it back where I found it and I left. As I was walking to my car, a guy ran after me and whistled and yelled for me to stop. I was so confused... he then proceeded to accuse me of stealing something. I showed him I had nothing of theirs (I didn't even have a bag) and I explained to him that I put the item back before leaving. After he realized he wrongly accused me, he just turned around to leave. No apology until I said to him "are you going to apologize?!". He yelled "I'm sorry!" Without turning around. I was shaken by this accusation and more so, the way he handled it. Needless to say I don't recommend anyone shop with this company based on how they treat their customers.
