    Langosta

This only spot we'll have langosta when in Baja. For 22 you get two halves (small), fresh hand made flour tortillas, rice, beans, salsa, chips and rolls. We did not opt in for the free margarita this time. Also ordered the guacamole and apple sodas. Because it's bottomless hand made flour tortillas, rice and beans we couldn't resist. There's the levels all with either a view of the open air shopping or ocean view. Live music mariachi.

Don't go to this place!!!! Warning if you want to be broke and be given dishonest prices this place is the place to be!!! I don't like giving bad reviews on restaurants I love to support but this place is waaayyyyy off dishonest from the moment I sat down!! I asked our waitress what she recommended for a nice drink and she Suggested mojitos. I then Asked her for a drink menu, she made a face like I was asking for too much. She then brought me this menu with nooooo prices I asked her how much is the mojitos? And she said they are between $6 and $8! I said based on what? No response! Anyways I then asked for a menu and their menu is waaaayyyyy offf prices and quantities way too small!! USA prices!! Way more than el torito!! I come here to get away from crazy prices in California not to compete with California. Never coming here ever again!!!

DISGUSTING FARM RAISED LOBSTER We were so excited to try a lobster meal in famous Puerto Nuevo. We were severely disappointed. The view on roof was SPECTACULAR! But everything was SO bad with the exception of the tortilla. The lardy tortilla was outstanding. The lobster was rubbery disgusting and the butter was literally something from a cheap movie theater. Butter flavor is more like it. We were fooled, please learn from our mistake. See photos.

Horrible service. They don't tell you that they are out of medium lobster and they are trying to sell you jumbo lobsters at $100. Don't go. If they were out of it, they should have told you when you walk in!!!

The service was poor and the jumbo lobster was rubbery. Overall, it wasn't worth the trip back. Find another restaurant- seriously.

For a 2000Mx pesos meal for four people, this feels unfair, especially since rice and beans traditionally come with the dish. The tiny portions forced us to order more and pay extra. This is unfair for clientele that pays top dollar into a Mexican economy... off the flavor alone Don Luis has always been five stars. Other clients have warned us about this , and I don't like to see people being taken advantage of.

We waited 40 minutes for our breakfast and there only 2 other tables there. Every thing was made with live and it was so good. We had a meal at a restaurant the night before air paid about 3 times more than here, this a must try place. The food was served hot and fresh. We will definitely come back here if we stay around here next time. It tasted just like my home cooked meals from home, brought back memories, great food!!!

Hi. White lady here who will kill for a good menudo…read more I had it on good advice that this was the right thing to order here, and so, of course, I did. And, of course, I ordered it with pata (the pig's foot that turns into a glutenous bone-lollipop that needs to be picked up with your fingers and lovingly slurped until clean). That makes it authentico and magnificent beyond words. The broth is rich in flavor and red in color. The tripe is very tender and well cleaned. A judicious amount of hominy. And here they bring a separate dish containing dried oregano, chopped onions and cilantro, chile flakes, and limes. Rub the oregano between your palms, then add copious amounts of all of the above, let the onion simmer for just a moment, then dig in. Within moments you will find yourself so preoccupied you will forget how to speak. Good stuff and plenty of it. Mr. B wanted shrimp in garlic butter (mojo de ajo). He was envious of my shrimp from the night before at Ruben's, but it paled in comparison. Too bad. The refried beans, now that was another story. So wonderful. It's the lard, baby, lard. The Mexican hot chocolate was yummy. The chips and salsa? Meh. Save room in your stomach for the soft, hot tortillas that come later. You can use US dollars here, and the wifi is free. Just ask for the password. I don't need the excuse of a hangover to come here for menudo.

That being said,…read moredecades ago this review would have been a strong 5 stars but now we are teetering on a high three, low four. The pricing has become ridiculous for this little lobster village. You're no longer getting a deal but you're paying for the view, the vibe, and the fact that you pinch yourself and say to yourself, "I'm only about an hour from home." Now that's pretty cool. The lobster still holds up and when dipped in the clarified butter with those homemade tortillas and refried beans/rice, you have to simply savor the moment. It's delicious. Grab a cold Tecate, a shot of tequila, and enjoy the view. It's so uniquely Baja.

We also got bacon wrapped shrimp, so good. Aside from a bad waiter place was Amazing!! P.S. if you get the lobster from the menu with 4 pieces only really get 1 lobster split in 2
