Valley, Tierra Caliente is up there with Salsa & Beer No-Ho. I absolutely love their food here at Tierra Caliente. I usually get their Chicken Sour Cream Enchiladas and Their Queso fundido each and every time. This time I tried their shrimp Enchiladas oh my God, everything they serve is amazing. Their drinks r really good. The staff is Super friendly. Please please please try this place out And tell me if they aren't better than Sol y Luna or Salsa & beer They absolutely are! When I'm craving Mexican food, this is my go to spot. Unfortunately I'm a no sabo kid, so English is my default, which isn't a problem for this business when ordering. Although, I do wish they had a website for online orders. They're kind, helpful, and know they're serving special food locally. It's a small space, maybe 5-6 tables at most, but I normally order pick up anyway. It's welcoming and feels like you're walking into abuelito's/abuelita's house to be fed, even though you told them you're not hungry and they insisted on feeding you (you were hoping for that).

It came with a side plate of spices (oregano, chile de arbol), sliced lemons, chopped onions, and cilantro. The chicken taquitos dorados (a la carte) were flavorful, tasty, and moist. There were also a bit larger than other locations. They were served on a bed of lettuce, half guacamole and half sour cream, and some cheese. Ordered Chilaquiles (verdes - choice of green or red).
