Don't waste your time and money, my husband ordered a carne asada huarache and wanted lettuce, avocado and green sauce to go, the lady that was taking the orders at the register asked him if he wanted a vegetarian huarache..he said no, she took his order and he got a huarache with beans very little cheese and dry crusty Carne Asada that was chopped up...no lettuce no avocado no green sauce! Just tortilla chips in a little bag and salsa for the chips that's it. She was very rude. Horrible customer service. This was a middle-aged lady (on the older side) We used to go there a while ago, and it was really good. We used to get huarache done the right way with fresh meat a good amount of cheese, lettuce, and avocado. This time we got a plane one with old crusty meat, Whoever said this is the best hole in the wall is not being honest they used to be good, now they are overpriced bad quality and customer service is awful. they lost a customer. plus this place is rundown they need to redo and update the Restaurant! Came here for lunch with a co worker and got the chile Colorado plate and it was so good. Pretty spicy but flavor is perfect. A hole in the wall Mexican joint that has my favorite carne asada burrito, tacos, chicken flautas, tortas, and ceviche. I've also never experienced any other place that has their tortilla chips like this place!! I love how's it's complimentary with every food order. When I'm craving Mexican food, this is my go to spot. Unfortunately I'm a no sabo kid, so English is my default, which isn't a problem for this business when ordering. Although, I do wish they had a website for online orders. They're kind, helpful, and know they're serving special food locally. I had submitted a great review from the first time I came here. The food and everything was good and I had a great view on this restaurant. I later on came here for my third time at night and sadly when I got home I found a bandaid wrapped in my torta. I decided to call in for manager and was told that they walk in whenever they want and have No specific time to service me. Very disappointed how this changed my view, it made me sick. I don't recommend this place to anyone. Its a shame because I support small businesses but not when they try to rip you off. I've been here a handful of times and got something different to give it a chance. This time I got an asada torta. The piece of meat was the thinnest cut I've ever been served as "carne asada" it was thinner than a slice of bacon. Ridiculous. Didn't taste good at all either. This place is so good, nothing fancy, just good food! (CASH ONLY) I worked off site and a co-worker of mine suggested we go here and I was quite happy! The parking lot is small, so it might be difficult to find a spot and this place gets busy! I ended up getting tacos, perfect size and great flavor! I loved the salsa. I had stopped in at Rio Grande not to long ago and picked up a asada burrito to go, and it was pretty good, so I thought I would stop in for lunch. First of all, I didn't get what I ordered for lunch, so i guess maybe they just didn't understand English very well, but who orders multiple combo dinners for one person? I tried the chile rojo which tasted like someone accidentally added a cup the lemon juice. Not good at all and the beans and rice were just so so, below average for a authentic Mexican restaurant. I also ordered 2 hard shell tacos on the side and received 3 with more beans and rice. Not the best tacos at all. Chips were homemade but overlooked and the salsa was bland, except for the occasional piece of jalapeño. I would not recommend this place at all, but I'm giving it two stars for the burrito I had last week. Still looking for the best taco in the valley. read more

Awesome food for a great price. The tacos my daughter had Eder es where a hit! Meat was perfectly cooked, juicy and seasoned well. The door I got had a hand made door shell which was crispy yet soft and light texture. I also ordered a chicken enchilada which was delicious! The chicken was shredded and moist and seasoned well. The salsa in both the sope and enchilada was a light green flag tomatillo style salsa which was refreshing!
