Their jewelry repair is the most excellent workmanship we have found in over 50 years that we have lived in Houston, that includes having jewelry repair, battery replacement and purchases of new jewelry from the most well know jewelers in the metropolitan area. Their prices are very reasonable. For example a battery replacement on a Brietling Chronometer was over $150 less that a Jeweler in the Galleria area. I love this place! Needed my ring sized from a 6 to a 5.5. I had lost a lot of weight since my proposal so it started getting very loose! Mr. and Mrs. El-Haddad did a wonderful job adding small silver balls to the back of my ring to temporarily fit my fingers in case I ever needed it to be a size 6 again. They had it done perfectly without ruining the inscription written on it and it only took about 10 mins. Will definitely recommend 10/10 and go here if I need my wedding band to be sized as well! read more

Poor customer service. They let us in and then rudely told us to come tomorrow morning if we wanted to buy something. Their service is terrible and they insulted my fiancée. I stopped by there with my future wife, we were looking at wedding bands. First the and old guy approached to us and started talking down to my wife, I remained quiet as I thought maybe that was the culture of an old middle eastern guy to talk business. Then when my fiancée tried to take a picture of a ring I tried, the guy took it back aggressively from her and shouted that she was not allowed to take a picture of his jewelry, when clearly there are pictures on their website and even yelp. We did not want to cause a scene so we left immediately. We have been shopping around all day in different jewelry stores in Houston and also of them had friendlier staff and allowed to take pictures of the rings you like. I recommend going to the galleria or anywhere else but this aweful store. read more

The owner of this store is awful, we have called time and time again trying to get answers and are always told we need to speak with John. Well when we finally got a hold of John, he told us, "I do not have time to talk to you or deal with anything you have to say." I took my engagement ring to Haddad to get a prong repaired. A couple of weeks after picking it up, I noticed the stone had shifted in the setting. So, I took it back and after further review, it was noted that I likely hit the side of my ring and damaged a different prong. Even though the damage wasn't related, they took my ring and fortified the weaker prongs. The most unexpected part was they did the second repair for no charge! My husband and I have been using Haddad Jewelers for about 3 years. He's had links in watches replaced, my wedding ring sized and diamond replaced, many things. My husband and I went on a fishing trip one weekend. I never wear my jewelry while out fishing, but my husband was wearing his wedding band. As he was moving a generator in the bed of the truck, he slid it too hard and smashed his ring on his finger. It was so badly bent, and basically deformed that I had to pry it off his finger. We went in to Haddad's and they said no problem. They called us back a few days later, after realigning the diamonds and added more gold to the ring for a more smooth finish, the ring looked brand new. I was ultimately amazed. I've never seen such great workmanship. I will continue to use Haddad's Jewelers and have recommended them to many friends and clients and will continue to do so. read more

We have been going to this jeweler almost since they opened. He sells wonderful high end custom designed pieces. You will not find the mass merchandising stuff you find at places like Kay's. If you do not find what you want he will custom design your piece. He only uses the best stones and materials.If the piece does not come out the way you wanted it he will redo the piece. When dealing with a high quality dealer it is not customary to allow photos of his pieces (some one else gave a bad review because of that). He values his clientele and always takes all the time you necessary to get what you have envisioned or want. I know this from experience as I have had several custom pieces made for us. He has also takes the time to repair and/or refurbish my family watches and clocks so they can be handed down to future generations. As far as Rolex watches go his company really can make the repairs necessary to keep it in excellent working condition which is more than I can say for others. Went in looking for a very specific necklace (diamond station) They had a few even though it was right after Christmas. But not exactly what I wanted. The owner ordered the perfect necklace and was very accommodating. What we wanted was less carat weight than the other necklaces he had in the store and he never made us feel 'less than' for wanting something less extravagant. My fiancé and I read online that this place did custom jewelry and we stopped in to get a quote on my custom engagement ring. The woman, I'd assume the wife, took care of us. She was soft spoken and nice and helped me confirm the design that I was interested in. The husband allowed us to trade in extra gold and diamonds we had on hand to go towards the final cost of the ring. While we felt the trade in cost for our materials was definitely low, we chose to move forward anyway as looking around for other jewelers wasn't something we wished to pursue further. The price for my ring, we felt was actually pretty low so we were thrilled. The time it took to get us the design seemed to have taken a little longer than I expected but once the ring was complete, the process went fairly quickly (a little over 10 days). The work of their contract craftsman was high quality. Very satisfied with how my ring turned out. They also sent us home with a certified appraisal for the ring for insurance purposes.
