One, a simple watch battery replacement. The other, a well-deserved wedding ring upgrade. Battery replacement had a few hiccups but solved and fine. Yeah, we might have bought another Cartier the same day. Let's talk about the ring experience. Our Ambassador, Kristi Patricia, was amazing. Her knowledge and dedication to our experience was remarkable. We met for a consultation where we discussed my wife's wants, expectations and desires. It was a personal, special experience. Unfortunately, less than a year and a half after purchasing the ring, one of the diamonds fell out. Brilliant Earth repaired the ring at no cost and informed me they would reinforce the remaining prongs by adding additional metal to help prevent future issues. However, only a few months after the repair, another diamond fell out of another location. What was most disappointing was not just the repeated failure of the ring, but the difficulty I encountered in getting the issue addressed. Despite Brilliant Earth's stated commitment to standing behind the quality and craftsmanship of its jewelry and offering a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects, I had to spend a significant amount of time going back and forth with customer service before they finally agreed to repair the ring a second time. While I appreciate that the second repair was ultimately approved, I do not feel confident in the quality of the ring or in the company's willingness to consistently honor the guarantees it advertises. A wedding ring is a meaningful piece of jewelry that should be built to last a lifetime, and my experience has unfortunately fallen far short of those expectations. My wife and I decided that the ring will just be displayed on our nightstand. Understandably she doesn't want to wear it again knowing the previous issues we had. We purchased another ring from a local jeweler. Customer service at the Montrose location is excellent, and the people there have always been great to interact with.
