Thank you Hadley Tow for an afterwork save! Michael the Archangel flew down in a Hadley Tow green rescue mobile. I have never seen such a geared out Prius and of course I took photos! Lol When all you want is to be comfy at home it's a total downer to be met by the sound of clicks instead of the engine start. It turns out my running the radio at lunch drained the battery and turned my ride into a brick. Womp womp! Thank the big G for the triple A! Lol The triple A operator gave me a 2 hr eta but --lucky for me-- Hadley showed up in 20 mins! Whoo hoo! Michael ran some diagnostics & determined my ride was ok just a drained battery. In seconds he gave me a green light to fire up the engine & soon my ride was purring! He did ask if I wanted to buy a new battery bc the -battery demanding summer- is rolling in. He was of course prepared w many fresh boxes of juice neatly organized in the back of his wheels. I declined but appreciated the lookin' out. My dream of home was a quick reality within minutes so I'm grateful for Hadley Tow, Michael the Archangel and the green rescue mobile! read more

I hate having to bump off stars. I love writing 5 star reviews. And the service man who came was very nice and polite. His name was Moe. So I'm not happy that I fee I have to give Hadley Tow a neutral 3 stars. We were at a hotel in Rosemead with a dead battery. So I called auto club. Moe arrived in a very reasonable time. He tested my battery and proclaimed it completely dead and in need of replacement at something quite over $100. I don't remember. I ALMOST went for it but then I looked at the battery. It was only about a year old and we'd bought it at Costco. I was 15 minutes from a Costco where I could get a FREE replacement. Yes, I'd have to install it myself but hey...?? We decided to go to Costco. Moe was quite disappointed but ultimately took it ok. He gave us a jump start. The battery charged right up. It probably didn't even need replacement but we were on a road trip and couldn't risk it. So I'm bumping 2 stars off because I felt that I should have been given the OPTION to EITHER get my battery jumped and go to Costco and save a LOT of money, OR take the easier but more expensive option to have Moe replace it right there. It looked like a new battery. It had the big Costco item number and manufacture date. We are seniors and having Moe replace it would have been easier. And I might have, if it hadn't really bothered me that he made it sound like he was my only hope, rather than pointing out out our battery was absolutely under warranty. Maybe that was just Moe? But maybe that's how Hadley Tow works so that's how they trained him? I can't say. But I felt I wasn't treated as if THEY had MY best interests at heart. So if you are in need of a battery fix...just be aware and spend YOUR waiting time thinking about all YOUR options before they arrive with their car full of new batteries! I called them for a forklift tow and made an appointment the next day at 6am. 7am comes around and I'm calling to see what's going on. I spoke to 3 different people and all of them had a different story. Finally someone came on and said sorry the manager gets in at 9 nothing we can do until then. The worst Tow Truck company around this area, you hire them to tow cars parked in red or blocking cars etc, and not even that they can do right, I asked for route for them to send someone on the regular to get cars that are breaking Rules and Regulations and nothing, asked for signs, parking stickers, red lines, the usual for a property and all they did was say, next week and next week and that day never came. To top it off, you call dispatch and they are rude and un profesional. They are literally located few steps away from my property and it would take them no less than 3 hours to come if they even came. I would NOT recommend this Tow Truck Company if they are even called that. I suggest you keep looking for real tow truckers. read more

Called AAA this evening to replace a defective battery. John came out, the moment he arrived and I greeted him, he was just plain rude. Interrogating my father and I with questions about the car. He sat in his car on the phone with somebody for 10 minutes before he even tested the battery. Just sat in the car on the phone staring at us through his window. Pretty awkward. He then spent 30 minutes on the phone with his boss, fumbling around with a battery tester and charger. Must have tried to start the car 50 times. Over and over again. He finally gave up and handed the phone over so his boss can explain that the battery isn't covered under warranty. The battery is 2 years old, we had a receipt stating there is a 3 year warranty. Strangest experience with AAA I have ever had. read more

Sam was the man. Came by very promptly, diagnosed, and fixed my car. Simple and clean fix. Drove off in my car after 15 minutes!

Once they have your car or money you can forget about their management helping you resolved. I had a blow out on the 10 freeway , big thanks to Hadley tow the first driver couldn't get my lug nuts off so he called for a tow truck I didn't catch his name but he had the big wholes in his ears very nice guy. To be fair I couldn't do it ether and stripped one. The second driver Robert was kick ass . No problem I got this he dug around in his tool box And in seconds the stripped lug nut was off the spare was on ... Hadley office called to let me know the driver was on the way. Nice touch... By far the WORST service ever!!! He was working on removing a flat from my car and he said "I have a call from CHP" I have to go now! He gather all of his belongings left the spare tire on the sidewalk and left! He didn't even finish! This would of have taken an extra 5 more minutes to finish. Worst experience ever!!!! Driver up front told us that if we did not take care of him he was not going to do the tow. As he was loading the motor home on the big rig flat bed he kept repeating "you are going to take care of me right". He said that it was illegal to tow our motor home, but would do it if we took care of him. I have never had anyone ( and I have had a couple of tows) ever ask for a tip. We were told by AAA that there would be a small 9 mile cost over the limit and we told her that we understood and would pay it. Also driver asked if I had a ride because he does not do riders in his cab. We asked what the extra cost for 9 miles would be and he said he would get that information from his boss after we got home. After he dropped the motor home he was on the phone with his boss for quite a while he finally said the cost would be $175.00 for the extra 9 miles. I was ready to give him $100 but thought the $175 was a little much for 9 minuets of travel time for 9 miles. We paid the bill and he left. Also Hadley charges AAA from port to port. Next morning I got a text from the driver telling me that he was upset that we did not take care of him and hoped that we never brake down in Orange again because he or Hadley would not come get us. Extremely poor customer service. I always thought that a tip was in appreciation of personal great treatment, not something you push someone to give you. It is sad that Hadley tow company knows it has you over a barrel and asks up front to take care of them over and above the cost of the tow. read more

If I could give negative stars I would!! I would never recommend or use Hadley towing! I had 2 horrible experiences with them. I called AAA told them my car had been stolen and recovered, it would not start and did not have plates either (they had been stolen off the car). They told me it would be 1 hour before the tow would be there, tow truck got there at the 1 hour mark. There were 2 men in the tow truck the driver never even got out of the truck, and the passenger was just a plain A**hole! Extremely rude! They told me there were not going to tow the vehicle since it did not have plates and they were not a flat bed (which can only tow cars with no plates) then told me you just need to call again and left. Called AAA back told them the situation they said it would be another hour before someone would be there, an hour and fifteen later the driver showed up said he would make it the best experience I've had since the call earlier didn't go so well, I asked if we could hurry since I had been sitting out there for hours already, he then proceeded to tell me the policy of not being to tow because the plates on the car were gone. Told he'd have to call dispatch to make sure it was okay (it was obviously okay to tow if they sent him out), after waiting again he tries to explain the policy again I said I understood that already, he asked for the keys to the car then threw them in the window of the car and left....again NO TOW!!! He told his dispatch I threatened him...really how threatening was the conversation we had. He's a weenie and his name is MOE!!! Thanks for nothing Hadley tow. Thank God for ROYAL COACHES!! read more
