Second, they offer huge family suites that fit 8 people . Third, my kids love the simple water slide that they allow kids to use tubes on and go on till 10:30 pm. They don't overly police kids here, they let them have fun and live their best lives. People have always been respectful. My kids love going from indoor pool to outdoor pool to the river. Rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. It's not loud and we did t hear any hall noise. You can bring a cooler to the pool. Also love that rooms have a fridge freezer combo and microwave . Plan to bring fishing poles next year since they have a great pier

Unfortunately, our experience with the staff was unacceptable. I informed them that I have a trained service animal protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Rather than discussing the situation professionally, the staff member laughed, stated "absolutely not," and said they didn't care about the law. The interaction was rude, condescending, and deeply disrespectful. Beyond the poor customer service, it was extremely concerning to hear a representative openly dismiss federal disability protections. Because of this experience, we no longer felt comfortable staying at the resort and were forced to cancel our family's vacation. It's disappointing that such a beautiful property was overshadowed by staff who treated guests this way and appeared unwilling to follow the law. I hope management takes this matter seriously by providing proper ADA training and ensuring future guests are treated with respect.

We were in search of a place where we could rent the entire property for our wedding and wanted a place where we could offer all of the ages of the family something to do at any given moment. This place delivered!! My best friend and I called this place on a roadtrip because we found it on google and thought it was worth a shot and Chris the owner answered and was so kind and thoughtful that we detoured and stopped to meet him there in the middle of winter. We chose this place because of him and the fabulous, well kept property. We talked with Chris and his wife several times prior to our August wedding and they were patient with our planning process and able to accommodate all of our requests. We cannot thank them enough for the use of the clubhouse and pool! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and exceptional service that made our stay truly unforgettable.  Chris and his wife Angie, the staff and property were more than we could have dreamed up! The property itself is absolutely stunning, nestled in a picturesque setting that offers breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere of the Wisconsin River. It was the perfect site for our wedding and family gathering, providing a beautiful backdrop for our special day and ample space for all our guests to relax and enjoy.  The owners went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care of, making the entire experience seamless and stress-free. Their dedication to excellence and genuine care for their guests truly set Cedar Lake Lodge and Settlement apart.  Whether you're planning a wedding, a family reunion, or just a peaceful getaway, I highly recommend Cedar Lake Lodge and Settlement. It is a hidden gem in Wisconsin Dells that offers unparalleled beauty, comfort, and hospitality. We can't wait to return!   Highly recommend that you rent a boat for some amazing photos and head next door to rent tubes to float down the river! My whole family loved using the tickets to Noah's Ark and the Big Cat Sanctuary.

Mike, the manager, was able to accommodate all our requests, and the lake is to die for. I like the location, we were in cabin 23 and it was right next to the beach, and close to the docks and the playground. The cabin was clean, but old and dated and had a mustiness to it. The beds were not very comfortable. The deck was great and honestly, we spent the majority of the time there. The resort is close to everything - but never felt that way. It is quiet and serene. Even the resort itself didn't feel crowed even though it was pretty full. The ground is covered by soft pine needles that are way better than grass and I think help keep the bugs away. And I should say - I normally attract mosquitoes from three states around. In the time it takes me to water flowers at home, I can have 3-5 bites. I came home from 4 days at Island Pointe without a bite. HUGE!! I also loved the shadiness of the area. I hate sun and it was easy to avoid it (it was easy to get it too - on the beach and the pool, for those that like sun). The staff is super helpful and respectful. They take a lot of pride in the resort. Honestly, I think that my cabin at least would have made this a 5-star review but the fact that my husband slept with a t-shirt wrapped around his pillow case, means that the cabin could be brought more up to date. It was clean for sure, but still felt...old.
