Excellent service. We arrived at 2pm and the staff was able to quickly seat a table of ten....without reservation. The Tap house was moderately busy and the atmosphere was inviting. We took a few minutes to order as the age range of our group was 12-73 years of age. The waitress was kind, and patient as we ordered. After ordering the food came quickly. We had a variety off the menu ranging from Salad to rice bowels and three different types of burgers. The Food and service was excellent! The manager came and asked how the meal was and was very pleasant. Prices were reasonable and portions were huge. I highly recommend this establishment and we will come back again. read more

Been a few times and I think the best way to sum it up is "fine." It's right in the corporate-lunch wheelhouse with inoffensive food and lots of space. The main reason to visit, in my opinion, is the great beer list. Maybe the crazy bloody marys on the weekend brunch if that's your thing. The space is open and pretty expansive with a good horseshoe bar in the middle. Service has always been great so no complaints there! I've gotten burgers, salads, fries, and brussels sprouts. They've all been exactly what you expect from a spot that caters to professionals/workers staying in the attached hotel and families. Not bad, but I don't think I'd recommend the place for food alone. read more

We got on the wait list from the web site Nice feature arrived at the time quoted and was seated quickly waitress arrived and took drink order came back with water and took our meal order My wife ordered the blackened salmon salad I ordered the Nashville hot chicken with mac and cheese. Our order came quickly but still no drinks "Strange for a sports bar to serve the meal before the bar order " but they showed up a bit later back to the food the salmon salad was great would order again as for the Nashville chicken it was spicy but with just cayenne pepper on the crust but also way overcooked the ends were crispy hard and dry but it did taste ok the parts not overcooked and the cheese sauce for the mac and cheese had a gritty base and way short on cheese a serious fail but on the up side the pasta was perfect reasonably priced I will try again read more

We came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and had a great time. I hate Bloody Mary drinks, but theirs were so fancy and outrageous that I had to try it, except I substituted Margaritas for the drink part. This ginormous "Big Bad AS$ Bloody" drink made me SO happy. My friends and I had a full on photo shoot with this drink before I even took my first bite - ha! The drink itself wasn't bad, but I loved all of the appetizer sampler items attached to the drink. The adornments included Giant Cheese Curds, Honey Chipotle Dry Rub Chicken Wings, Double Smash Burger Slider, Fried Pickles, Pretzel Bites, Waffle Fries and the sauces were good too... chipotle ranch and Gouda Cheese. Could not finish it, even though 2 friends tried to help me. I've had a few great experiences here! The wings are always a go to for me. I feel like they're a good value and they're really nice and juicy. Another favorite would be the Nashville hot mac & cheese. Service is always friendly and I really liked it even when there is a wait they use Yelp's built in waiting list which let you have a live activity on your iPhone screen saying what number you are in line and giving you a progress bar until when your table is ready. Ambience can be quite busy feeling inside, but can be pretty calm outside, which is nice for those summer evenings. I do feel like there are a few too many TVs, but it's just like a buffalo wild wings or any other type of sports bar place as far as that goes. Overall, I would definitely say this is a good place to hang out with friends, or check out on a date night. read more

Not that Northern Taphouse needs another review, but here goes. 5/5 for the staff 4/5 for the food 3/5 for cleanliness 4/5 for accessibility 4/5 for pricing Staff were amazing and friendly. Great recommendations. The food and beer had a large variety. Here's my one problem with the food, it was a bit lack luster in taste and I felt like I could have recreated it at home. I will give it to cheese curds though those were rock solid. Given the portion size I felt like it was similarly priced as a comparable restaurant like a Malones in Maple Grove. The cleanliness I do believe is just a result of how busy the place is. We've tried to come here on a weekend and there's always a wait. 3 of us with a couple beers, a couple appetizers and entrees was only like 120 before tip so it was pretty solid. Their bloodies are amazing and are basically a meal in and of themselves. Will definitely be back. read more

Their monthly Bloody Mary is ridiculously amazing. Decembers hit it out of the park. Not only does it look great, the seafood was cooked perfectly. Seriously how do you cook bacon wrapped scallops that were cooked perfectly or crab legs that sweet defined them in a tap house. By the way the actual bloody was awesomeness. Didn't know you could book online ahead of time. A group of 3, arrived at 5pm, got seated at 6:20. Pay attention to your phone because they only give you 5 minutes to check in when your table is ready. Highly recommend getting on waitlist online. Service was fast. Went here knowing they have monthly Bloody Mary specials. $35 but it's a meal in itself. Waitress asked if we wanted another drink while we wait as it takes time to prep it so we did. For appetizers we got the fill cheese curds and ahi tuna bites. Cute curds should be eaten right away, nothing too special. Recommend the tuna bites, A LOT of flavor. Reminds me of sushi. The Bloody of the month was the El Borracho Bloody. It came out probably 5 minutes after our drinks and appetizer did. Didn't mind that it came fast at all. Someone recommended this place as having a great kids meal so we decided to check it out. Unfortunately for us, we picked a day during March Madness and there was a ridiculous amount of people there. We got added to the waitlist as the 27th party needing a table. PRO TIP: now I know that you can check the waitlist and yourself to the waitlist on Yelp ahead of time! We ended up waiting 1.5 hours, but luckily it was nice enough to spend that time at a playground. Very modern sports bar decor inside. The menu has many things I wanted to try. The kids meals are great, many entree options, plus a drink, 2 sides and an ice cream sundae for $7! My kids liked what they got. I was craving a burger and fries and figured that would be a safe choice at a sports bar; I liked the smash burger and the fries were ok. Finally got to try this place that seems to be a local fav in west metro. Large parking lot and restaurant with patio seating. I really enjoyed the spicy Nashville chicken sandwich as I was surprised that it was actually spicy and flavorful! This is coming from someone who loves spicy food too! Very close to work The Beer rotation is good But not amazing Been here many times now and will continue to return. Kind of on the spendy side. Had two beers and a bowl of soup and ended up paying 25 plus. What the what? Inflation getting cray cray. Always crowded. Happy to eke out a barstool every time that I go. They are Untappd Verified, but no badge. Their predecessor had a badge. I think it's $50 a month to be verified and $100 for the badge or something like that. My friend spoke highly of the Woodbury location, but we were closest to this location and were looking for a place for dinner. We tried dill cheese curds (that my friend liked previously), pretzels, and the jalapeño burger. I thought the curds were unnecessarily greasy. I've had MANY curds in my life and these were way too greasy. The pretzels were okay - I actually wondered if they bought the ones in bulk from Costco. Their spicy mustard dip was excellent though. The best part was the burger. Great taste and the bacon was crispy - win! We split that burger and they cut it in half for us. Really appreciated that. Bottom line: I'd go here again for the burger, but I'd skip these two appetizers. read more

My only suggestion to management is...do not let the hostess stand become a "hang out" spot for the younger employees (at times 6 all congregating) and do NOT let them have Starbucks drinks partially consumed sitting around. Such a delicious and fun spot in Plymouth! We had been trying to go here to enjoy their patio, and we finally got the chance on a Friday for lunch. It was easy and quick to get a spot, and the service was great. For lunch we shared some fried pickles, which were just as delicious as the state fair in my opinion, Deliciously salty and crispy with ranch to dip! I tried a sip of my fiance's bloody, and it was also delicious. It has a bit of spice which I appreciate, I definitely want to try their spicy version. My mom and I split an order of the Walleye tacos, and they even split it into 4 tacos (same amount of meat as 3) so we could each have our own plate. It was the perfect amount for each of us, plus their beer battered fries were delicious. Definitely will be back! read more

Thursday lunch hour was hoppin' (and it is also the beginning of March Madness). We got the best seat in the house. There is amazing couch seating that was clean, no wobbly tables, and if you like there are TVs all around. We really enjoyed the $0.99 wings (deal of the day) and the cheese curds! We weren't a fan of the pretzel bites - the cheese roux was a little grainy and the pretzels were just okay. Overall, great service and good food in Plymouth.
