Problems I had with the new Stihl chainsaw I purchased from Hahn's were amicably rectified by the stores ownership.

I would like to update my review. I did have the sofa redone at your shop. We discussed ad nauseam…read morethat it would be a comfortable soft sofa and that the velvet would not attract as much dust and lint as it does. You said it was specifically a better product. I had another chair recovered in velvet at Calico Corners in Wilmette and it does not attract dust and lint at all so it is not necessarily a function of all velvets. You were not nearly as helpful as you sound here on yelp when I had these complaints after the sofa was done. You' were completely unresponsive and refused to assist any further. At minimum, the sofa should've been comfortable and you definitely did mislead me on your product.

I have to admit that I haven't (YET) purchased anything from MegMade but have inquired and visited…read morethe shop over the past couple of years ever since I saw her pieces at the Randolph Street market. Meg and her team are super creative and helpful. Her pieces fit into any home and interior style. I also feel like their marketing and space is just really genuine and friendly! I saw someone mentioned they took stars off for items not being on 'sale' during this time. I gladly will support local and handcrafted any day. Thanks Meg and team!

We're happy with our new bath/shower in the spare bathroom- it's beautiful!…read moreThe entire staff at Rebath are top-notch.. from Chris our salesman, Peggy at the main office and our installers Kamen and Derrick. Polite, respectful and good at their job! Highly recommend

I spent $14,000 on a shower remodel with Re-Bath in Lake Villa that is a death trap. The shower pan…read moreis so slippery it's like a skating rink. I don't know why it's even legal to continue to sell shower pans like this. It started with their salesman. He came to my house and looked at my old shower. I explained what I didn't like and that I DID like the non-slip floor and my shower head. I said the new shower had to have these plus 2 grab bars, shelves, and a small corner seat. He gave me a quote. Later, when I decided to sign the contract with them, he realized he had neglected to add in the price of the seat so that increased the price. I should have stopped then, not liking this old trick, but I signed. The shower pan said "upgraded to Re-Bath shower base" so I assumed it was the no-slip floor that I asked for. What company would sell something else to an elderly lady in a senior community. The installers were great. Very friendly and worked hard. It wasn't their fault that they had to wait so long for the city inspector to come out so they could finish. It took 3 days but they only worked about 13 hours. The result was good. Everything fit well and looked great except for the shower head and slippery pan which I didn't know about until I could actually take a shower 48 hours after they finished. I called about the shower pan and the response I got was "I got what was in the contract." How is a lay person supposed to know their terminology. I relied on the salesman to give me what I wanted. Even their instructions for cleaning the shower mentioned a non-slip surface. They refused to resolve it unless I paid an extra $250. There is a $55 spray you can put on it. That's all Re-Bath was going to do for $250. I bought the spray and had myhandy man put on 2 coats. Now it's perfect. ReBath could have done that for the good will that they have just lost. I knew I would get a referral bonus because the email I got from Re-Bath indicated I would get $250 and the other person would get $250. However, it took over 2 months and lots of emails to finally get it from them. I'm not happy with the shower head, it is a Moen as ordered but it must be the bottom of their line. I wish I could have purchased that myself since that was their only option - to me. I found out later from my sister that she had a choice. I liked hers much better. Then after all this I get a form letter from their office person saying thank you for the business and they strive for good customer service in the 1st paragraph and then 2 paragraphs about how I better read how to take care of the shower because their warranty doesn't cover problems if I don't. Not only is Re-Bath getting this bad review but I will be sure to proactively tell others about my experience. Great installers and quality of work but terrible office/customer service and salespeople.
