To be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect waiting at the clinic looking around to be seen. Everything was old, dirty, dingy, lack of decor... but the care and expertise of the Dr. over weighed the old school office and aesthetics. His office is very old and could use a good clean up and some paint for sure from somebody, (just stating the obvious), and were my only concerns walking in. Dr. Freyman and his receptionist seemed to really care and take the time to know you and your pet, which most important to me in the end. My cat had an infection that wouldn't go away on his back, and we finally took him to a vet to see why not going away after months of home healing. He took an x-ray to make sure it wasn't something imbedded or more serious going on. He gave the right antibiotics to treat this fast, and if any issues to call back. His rates seemed a bit high (I had a bit of sticker shock) BUT Dr. Freyman took the time needed to answer all my questions, and we got to stay in the room for treatment, and was seen quickly. There was no itemized bill for my records, just his figures in his head. Normally that is given at check out, but they do not do that here. All in all, if you can accept an old school, no nonsense vet, the billing procedures, he's the man. He was genuinely interested in the health of my cat and will make him my permanent vet, but now knowing will request the itemized bill at the end of the visit when paying. I am hoping Dr. Freyman will read this and take the constructive criticism to heart... hire a cleaner and handyman and get the place up to par with the rest out there, and his practice would be golden.

Then we called Cohen's office for a follow-up. It was supposed to be free. When he came in he had no idea why we were there. He didn't look at any of the paperwork we had. I had an exray the other Veterinarian wanted him to see. He ignored that too. He asked if we wanted to do the regular check up for her licence and heart guard meds. So we also got our 11 year old on flea and tick medicine at that time. He was very cold towards my husband and I. We had an emergency again. Katie was screaming in pain and needed attention like right now. We called again on Saturday morning to see if we could get her in. They blew us off and said we could book an appointment on Wednesday the 1st of April. So we made that appt. Sunday at 3:30 she again woke us up with screams of pain. So we took her to the hospital. They said she had brain cancer. We had to put her to rest. I called to cancel her appointment on Monday. They have still haven't called to say Condolences. In They are cold blooded. I can't believe how caring he was in 2016 when we first got Katie. She was 3 and a half years old. What happened to him?

The receptionist immediately booked me an appointment. Upon arrival you call a number that's on a sign, and they let you know when you may enter the building. I was immediately seated in an exam room. I was not a fan that I couldn't be with my rabbit during his exam with the doctor. However as my appointment went on I became very impressed with this clinic. Doctor Baker was understanding, patient, and very knowledgeable about rabbits. She explained the health concerns and her plan for care. I felt like she was very compassionate and really cared about helping Pepper. It's never fun to see a vet bill, but thankfully the pricing seemed reasonable. I wish that blood work however was offered at a more affordable price point. I was there for almost 2 1/2 hours while they helped my rabbit. It was a very positive experience and Pepper seems to be improving. I am thankful I found this animal hospital when I did.

However, the second one went horribly wrong. The cat was screaming in pain and bleeding. Next day I had to rush the cat to ER because its condition was deteriorating rapidly and my poor kitty died. The place is disorganized I had to wait 20 minutes before I was able to schedule an appointment. First the laptop was not working for one of the Technician, then another lady computer was not functioning either. Also one of the support technicians was constantly calling my cat she, thought I corrected her multiple times remining her that this was a male cat. They also never bothered to call after second enema to ask about the cat condition after procedure. Well, they collected thousands of dollars from me why really bother to check on the animal.

Why do we travel fm Windermere to Deland for vet services (1hr 5 min, 57.4 miles)? 1. Vet #10 & counting 2. Too many unqualified vets trained abroad (islands & East) 3. Poor craft of knowledge 4. Poor cust svc 5. Unsavory & less than mentally sound techs 6. Creepy vets These are just a few gd reasons why we travel so far. Our Darby Darling: We lost our paw princess Sat., 7am on 4/24/21 as she quietly fell asleep in death over nite. Windermere Vet #10: We went to our 10th Windermere vet 3 miles fm our hm. We decided to engage the Windermere vet, during the pandemic, for just such an emerg. Their Sat. hrs. were 8am-1230pm but it was dark bet. 8am-10am. We saw 6 cars at the annex bld, knocked on the glassdoor, a male waved for us to wait, turned sideways, cont. on his call, not mindful enough to call another staffer, & we waited til 10am. They kept us waiting fm 8am-10am. We were the only customer car in the lot & all lites were off. We finally called Countryside, left, & took the hr. drive down the 429 to I4. Countryside: We wiped our well groomed little girl, dressed her in her lovely yellow floral dress, laid her on her fuchsia ladybug blanket, rolled her yellow blankie under her head, & placed her in her cozy bed. We were rec'vd with compassion & Our Darby girl will recv an honorably rest fm her final journey.

Susan was incredibly helpful with answering any emails I sent and was very responsive. This was my first time fostering and it was on a Saturday morning that I saw some puppies needed a foster, so I did not have any pet supplies at home on hand the same day. After two weeks they were much bigger and ready to be adopted! I returned them back to Susan at the shelter and I was so happy I did it and plan to foster again. They are a fantastic organization and I highly recommend going to the Orlando Pet Alliance if you are looking to adopt a dog or cat. I am extremely disappointed with the scheduling process at Pet Alliance Sanford…read more This is now the second time I have attempted to get my cat seen for treatment. The first time, I scheduled an appointment and never received approval until I physically showed up at the facility. At that point, I was told I would need to wait approximately 45 minutes. Unfortunately, I had arranged my day around the appointment time and could not stay because of my work and travel schedule. I then rescheduled for another date, only to find out that the clinic is closed on Wednesdays even though the scheduling system allowed me to book an appointment for that day. This created another unnecessary delay in getting treatment for my cat, who has been dealing with fleas and needs care. As a pet owner, I understand that things happen, but the scheduling system should not allow appointments to be booked when the clinic is closed, and appointments should be reviewed and confirmed in a timely manner. I've now spent months trying to get my cat the care he needs and have experienced nothing but scheduling issues and delays. I hope management addresses these problems so other pet owners do not have to go through the same frustration.

We went to Cornerstone vet after the mobile vet we called told us our cat had diabetes and they…read morecould not handle the followup needed. Our other vet did not tell us anything about the bloodwork; basically scared us by telling us we would have to give two shots per day or our cat would be in a diabetic coma. The place is in a shopping center (same as senor tequila in winter springs); it was clean and has two entrances, one for dogs and one for cats. They even had a separate exam room just for cats! The room we were in was very nice and comfortable, also. This vet had a completely different take on the bloodwork: that when cats are stressed, the blood sugar goes up; that since our kitty had allergies recently (she asked us), the creatine levels could be high; that the bloodwork did not show diabetes but rather could be signs of kidney disease instead; and that it's unusual for a cat to start having diabetes at such an advanced age. To make a long story short, the vet spent a lot of time with us explaining the bloodwork results the other vet had done and what they could really mean instead; made the recommendation that we get new bloodwork in a few weeks; and NOT to change anything in his diet or life at this time as he seemed to be a happy cat. At the end, the price was so much less than the mobile vet ($50). We were so relieved and grateful for the great advice and knowledge that the vet had (sorry I cannot remember her name). Cornerstone, 5 stars for you!
