I couldn't really remember what to expect from my first tattoo, so I was excited, but a little anxious. Maegan was amazing from start to finish. I sent her some ideas the day before and when I went in, she was patient and it was clear she wanted me to be comfortable with every detail. You can see right away from the vibe of the place that it is just somewhere fun to be and you quickly feel relaxed and comfortable. There were several other tattoos going on at the same time and all the artists were so professional and kind. It's been a rough summer, so in addition to being completely ecstatic about how it came out, I feel like I needed that two hours to just take in the positive energy. INFECTED PIERCING I…read morereally wanted to love this place, which makes me more upset about the infection and the week of antibiotics I needed after trusting them. I bought a white gold earring recommended by the piercer, which fell out after just 3 days. When I went back that day to have it reinserted, the same piercer who first recommended the earring admitted the post was "too soft". He mentioned they'd just started carrying this manufacturer's jewelry and had to add an extra bend beyond the standard one to keep it in. Worse, he reinserted the jewelry without cleaning my ear, essentially pushing bacteria into the open wound. I returned the next day because it felt off, but was dismissed and told it was fine. Four days after that, I was at Urgent Care: pain, swelling, redness spreading across my ear, warm to the touch. The doctor diagnosed me with cellulitis, removed the earring, and prescribed Ciprofloxacin. When I called to ask for a refund, the owner refused to acknowledge any fault. I understand things go wrong sometimes. What matters is how a business responds. Selling jewelry that isn't fit for purpose, skipping sanitation steps, and then dismissing a customer who ended up in urgent care is not okay. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I went to a studio in NYC and they told me that the jewelry they put in my ears had nickel in it which is why it wasn't healing properly. I expect that if i'm paying a premium for better jewelry, that it wouldn't have a toxic metal in the jewelry and that the pericer would know bette... even I know better. it's day 3 with new jewelry in (titanium and gold) and they have already started to heal.
