Suddenly in January my hair started coming out in handfuls day and night. This continued for 6 weeks. I have maybe 1/4 of my hair left. What's left looks damaged and so brittle and you can see right through it. My scalp is good so I've been able to mask my hairloss by putting it up in a very very small clip. I went to see Kristina on Friday just based on her microscope findings there were 2 things going on that were causing my hairloss and 1 of those things was because my internal system was out of balance. Today I went back for follicle testing and learned so much about my body and why I feel like crap. She shared with me all the other things going on inside my body that finally showed up on the outside of me through my hairloss. I have a plan specifically for me now to a journey of treating my whole body AND my hairloss! I highly recommend Kristina and the Well Rooted Hair and Scalp clinic. I saw my Dr and then he referred me to my dermatologist and she just wanted me to start a topical medication. When she finally called, they admitted it had never been ordered, offering multiple conflicting excuses. They rushed to get a topper in within days--but it was not what she ordered. Still, they insisted it was correct and pressured her to take it, claiming there wasn't time to get another. That makes no sense, considering how fast the one they claimed to have ordered for her had arrived. It felt like they were just trying to push old inventory on her to get rid of her. The topper was clearly wrong. I called about returning it and was told they would accept it back with a $200 fee, which was upsetting considering the circumstances, but my mom is ill and didn't want to fight them. When I showed up in person to do the return, the owner suddenly changed her story--no return allowed, only an exchange, still with a whopping $200 penalty. This was manipulative and completely unethical. Preying on vulnerable seniors is disgusting. Avoid this place at all costs. *In response to owner: I should not have had to accompany my mother to protect her from being pressured into taking something home that didn't work. She was given two bad options and tried to pick from that because she was told they couldn't get anything else and they refused to do any kind of return (even though it was unused and unworn and had just come in). Helena is welcome to contact me if she would like to resolve this, I have tried multiple times at this point to solve this amicably.
