This place is not easy to find. No signage at all. I looked on yelp to see what the building looked like and that's how I ended up finding it. I came for a consultation and to redeem a Groupon. Like many have stated, Yes you will wait. The appt was for 5pm and I didn't get seen until 5:25. Here is the thing, you will come in here inquiring about things you WANT. But Gita the rn is going to look at you and point out all the things you need. I give her props for her honesty and she knows how to sway people . She's good at what she does and knows how to sell it! Overall, I didn't have a bad experience. I did get some xeomin on my forehead because of a Groupon deal but didn't really need it for the reasons most people get it. I mainly got it to help with headaches I get from staring at 3 computers all day. Gita herself even said I don't need it. Their offerings are pretty extensive. Some of them being facials, microneedling, laser hair removal, and other laser treatments and of course injectables of all sorts. read more

Whitney, the receptionist, is EXTREMELY wonderful! Pleasant, professional and beyond helpful with answering questions. I was very disappointed with the bedside manner of the NP that assisted me with the CO2 procedure I received. I purchased a Groupon as I hadn't been to Zoroaster before and the Medical Spa I've been going to the last 5 years didn't offer the same procedure (I was looking for something that helped with sun damage repair, not strictly aesthetic). She was not warm or helpful and it felt rushed once she found out I was using a Groupon. If I felt she had given me a great procedure and all the information needed to heal I wouldn't think bedside manner was as important... however, the procedure itself was very quick and the results are near nothing (she did say it would take multiple sessions for results, so my expectations may have been high. But again, it just felt like she was trying to sell me more because others results at different med spas have been significant after only one CO2 procedure). The only aftercare information she gave me was to use ice, keep it moist with Vaseline and if I was in significant pain they could write me a prescription for a different cream. Nothing about protection from the sun, and I had to ask when I could use the serums and creams I had written on my intake form and when I could apply makeup. I was also very confused as to why she didn't go up to my orbital bone, leaving more than an inch below my eye untreated. For a full-face procedure I anticipated it would treat my upper cheek and eye area as well, but that wasn't included. That is my mistake for making an assumption.. The only reason for 3/5 stars is Whitney! It felt like the NP was eager to have me leave once she found I was using Groupon, and even after we left the consultation and began the procedure she made sure to mention how Groupon could only be used once and I couldn't buy anymore for Zoroaster. We hadn't been talking about Groupon for nearly 10 mins... Maybe she thought she was being informative, but it wasn't an appropriate time. I would not reccomend. read more

My first visit was good. However, I only wanted 12 units of Botox because it was my first time ,she gave me more. I wasn't to happy about that. The second visit I bought 20 units from Groupon for 127.00. When I got there she was upset that I paid on Groupon. I love Gita. I have been to a couple other places and had such a bad experience. Gita was honest, told it like it was, upfront and gave me options. I'm an aging woman and I didn't expect to get the results I did, pleasantly surprised at the difference! I love the front desk person as well (didn't get his name) but he's wonderful, makes you feel comfortable and welcome. Other people have pointed out the wait time, I just want to say this, if she's putting needles in my face, I want her to take her time, so if she has to do a little more, if I have questions, I don't want to feel rushed, so I don't mind when she's taking her time with the person before me... When I first visited Zoroaster medical Spa, September 2021, I met Whitney. She worked at the front desk, she was friendly, helpful with a great attitude. Gita Khattaie the provider , was nice as well she took the time to explain my procedure and cost. On my second visit, December 2021. It reminded me of that old Tim Burton movie " The nightmare before Christmas" I pre-paid for my treatment a month in advance. When I explained that to Gita she became extremely rude and began bullying me, Gita stated, that it was going to cost more money to fix my face. She also displayed other forms of disrespectful behavior. She told me she was going to verify my payment with the front office. However, little that she knew my son was sitting in the lobby waiting for me, as she continued making rude comments, gossiping about me at the front desk. I purchased a 60 minute signature facial in the summer of 2017. My first impression of this establishment began well before services were even performed. My frustrations began during the scheduling process, I called 3 times and left a few messages before I was contacted and able to set my appointment. Finally my appointment day came, I arrived at the office and was not greeted upon arrival, which was a little disappointing because I had hope that the service in person was better than the service I had received during the scheduling process. When I was finally helped I was offered a water and showed to my room. The room I was taken to was dark and had a red leather recliner chair which I assumed was going to be where I sat. I was offered a blanket and declined because you know, summers in Fresno are usually in the triple digits. My esthetician started with cleansing my skin which was going well minus the fact that the cleanser very soapy and the steamer so overwhelming, to the point that breathing was starting to become a bit of a struggle. She later noticed and turned it away... so I got some nice steam to the chest. Regardless, I was relieved I could breathe. *Pause review* [She was on the phone speaking a different language at this point] Next was the exfoliation... let's just say, I was better off exfoliating with Saint Ives Apricot Scrub because whatever product was used on my face was so abrasive I might as well have exfoliated with Home Depot's state of the art sandpaper. If that wasn't bad enough the "moisturizer" to finish off the facial was oil (did I mention this was during the summer?). I wrote a review on Groupon and to compensate for this horrible experience I was offered a microdermabrasion treatment. I called to schedule this and... again had to call 3 times, leave messages, before I was contacted. When I finally got a hold of the nurse, I was told that they no longer offer these services so I either had the option of getting a discount for the services they offer now or get a facial from an esthetician they know. She then asked if I would take down the review, I said I would and was never contacted about getting this service done. If I could award no stars I would. This place needs to be investigated....as a matter of fact I'll be sure to do everyone a favor and make a few phone calls. read more

Less than 1 Star the front office staff was GREAT the FNP was horrible. She is beyond rude and has NO customer service skills what so ever. After waiting 50 minutes she comes in with a bad attitude and trying to sell me more Botox than I'm comfortable with. As I stood my ground she got more annoyed. She just wants to sell you want she thinks you NEED and not what you want! I've had Botox injections before and it's never hurt but with her it did and she was very rough. Staff is kind and helpful. The NP is also really sweet and helpful. However, every time I've come, I end up waiting 30 minutes to an hour to receive treatment. The first couple of times, I tried being understanding; as I know clients and other procedures run a bit late. But, I've noted this to become a pattern every time I have scheduled. I absolutely love this place!! Its such a nice clean office to be in. The injector treated my forehead and the wrinkles between my eye brows with Botox at first then filler a few weeks later. She also placed Botox in my eyebrow area. I've gotten Botox before, however this injector is an artist with it. My eyes are much more open. I also got the Juvederm treatment for my jowels and my lips. I am so happy! My results are more than I expected. I will be coming back every few months. read more

My second time getting Botox here. My first time I went through Groupon. The office is quiet and nice. They offer many specials and treatments. I can't say I've been wowed by them. Botox is Botox and it goes into the same areas no matter whose really doing it so for me it's all about the ambiance and the comfortability I have with my beauty technician or specialist. It's hit or miss with me here. If you are looking for a deal I would recommend them. If you have skin issues though I'd recommend going to a dermatologist. read more

I've been to see her a few different times first time a year ago for Botox this was my second time,, the lady I think her name is Zena she's the only one I've seen besides the receptionist. She has a way of talking you in to anything she's just one of those people that can persuade you into getting something you don't even need for instance I went in for Botox I left with fillers she makes you feel that you need it, I purchased a skin care line $250 first of all I should've stuck to my NO answer and did my reviews but like I said she is very persuasive one hell of a sales lady, after purchasing I Could not find the name of this line of product anywhere online nor did it have a UPC code the bottles all small I thought they were trial size. I'm pretty sure it came from another country which would be fine if it worked. My face broke out with these weird sores for three weeks maybe longer I had stopped using the product after 3 days. Here is the worse part I had bruising on both sides of my face around my mouth from the Injection I don't take Ibuprofen or Vit. E so I can't understand why ai brushed so much AND for a month, I tried cover-up and dark make-up nothing worked. Dark bruising from my cheeks to my chin For 4 WEEKS, I did have some swelling. After a few months the filler disappeared. I am very disappointed and I will never go back. read more

I've been there before and it wasn't all that great because they gave me Spock eyebrows, but I had Groupon bucks and had to use what I had due to my current financial situation. When I walked in, Gita told me that I shouldn't have bought Groupon because I have been there before. I have been there almost 2 years prior to that. She started telling me that it's for new customers only, while their ad says that it's good for those who didn't use it for a year. After a long and unnecessary discussion, she said she will acknowledge the Groupon this one time. Then, she proceeded to tell me that 20 units in not enough. I explained that I only need it done to an area above my nose and 20 units cover more that enough, and I know that because I've had it down many times before. I sit into the chair, and a few minutes later, I feel poking right above my eye brows where I specifically asked her not to do the injections. I stopped her at that point and asked her not to inject there, but she said that I'll be OK and if not she will corrected it in a week. I was very upset, to the point of crying because I know my body reaction and I know that correction is not possible. The result was exactly as I predicted - my eye brows dropped, and now I have hard time using computer all day because my eyelids feel heavy and it's hard to keep them open. I went there a week later and showed her photos before and after, and she still kept arguing that I'm wrong and my face looks fine. I asked her to finish what she started and at least do the injections between the eyebrows, since she only used maybe half of what I've purchased (I saw the syringe half full right before I had to stop her). She started to argue that I'm offending her with my request, but she can inject in the area where I point. Well, it's not my job to point, but her job is to look where muscles are and do the injections. She said that she'd rather refunds my money to Groupon, than do what I ask. She said that she will call the Groupon. I contacted Groupon and they said that they need an email from her, confirming her decision, but now she is not responding to my phone calls, emails or messages. She was very rude with me both times I was there and looks like she took my money, used half of the product to cause damage, and didn't even use the other half of the 20 units. I've been a return client of Zoroaster but after my experience today I will not be back. Not only did I have to call to schedule my return appointment instead of receiving a courtesy call as usual, I was given a hard time for not being back since January. Then at my appointment, after being taken to the room and getting on the chair I was told my Botox would cost an extra $100 today. I've gotten the same amount of units each time and the price was always the same until today. I'm understanding if the price has gone up but honor the usual agreed upon amount at this appointment then notify your customer the price will go up at the next appointment. After stating I'd only planned on $300 and I'd take what I could get for that price I was left sitting in the room for over 30min while my appointment time was skipped and other were helped. I ended up asking for my money back and canceling my treatment. I will not be back after this experience. read more

By far the worst place I've ever gone to, to get a facial! I found this place on groupon (you get what you pay for) I was in much need of a facial so i decided hey what the heck I'll try out a new place. I walked into a dark room with 2 red recliner chairs. She then asked me to sit down. As soon as i sat down she placed a towel on my cest and tuck it in my shirt. Next she used the paper tape thing babers and hairdressers usually use on your neck when preping you for a hair cut. I'm use to a towel or a headband when im given a facial. Within the first 5 mins of the "relaxing" session, she had called someone one the phone while i was laying there with i dont know what on my face! I was shocked! Never in my life have i dealt with something like this. After getting off the phone she then decided to scrape my face so hard with the extraction tool...i still had the harsh exfoliator on. It hurt so bad, i assume she saw my discomfort and asked if it hurt. Of course i was honest so she began easying off a bit. After wiping the harsh exfoliator she started to put on what felt to be oil (its about 100 degrees outside with some harsh uv rays big no no!) Finally came the mask which i sat through for 20 mins while i listened to her phone go off and her clean in the backround. P.s. I still have the mask on my face and in my hair. The other thing I had done I was not satisfied with but I have to be honest and say Zoroaster has agreed to go back and forth with me until I am satisfied. I have been coming to Zoroaster for both laser hair removal and IPL and couldn't be more pleased with the results. Gita is amazing. At first I was a little apprehensive but I'm so glad I made the decision to proceed with laser hair removal and IPL. Ladies, it's completely affordable especially if you already get waxed on a regular basis. The costs are very similar/cheaper when you add it all up over time. The person that gave me the facial even used the same cream and put it on her face when she finished the facial. Gave it one more try, this time I had a guy do the facial.
