They are strictly limiting customers, who call on arrival at the locked door to be let in very promptly after a quick forehead temp scan. We were able to get an appointment same afternoon I called. Everyone must be masked and is asked to wash hands immediately upon arrival. I just can't say enough, how much love I have for the responsibility, cleanliness and health consciousness of this unassuming, reasonably priced salon/barbershop. That combined with the quality cut. If you are a person of color and have very curly hair, and she tells you she's not very good at cutting it, you need to listen. Why would you want someone to cut your hair if they aren't an expertise in your hair type? Calling someone racist just because they aren't comfortable working on your hair type for fear of ruining it is an honest thing to do. Plus not all hair stylists are equal. Apparently I have to go out of my way to explain that. My haircuts and styles always wind up so beautiful. My husband and I have been coming here since 2020 with no issues. She listens closely to what I want and if she is unsure about the idea I have for my hair she always clarifies and never assumes. I think what I hate MOST about 98% of stylists are their "holier than thou" attitudes and giving me what they THINK I want/what THEY think will look better instead of what I asked them to do in the first place. I don't need to be lectured or chided about what you think I need--SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY! Fortunately Shyla is honest when I ask her to be and gives me whatever I want with my hair otherwise. She is a pleasure to talk to, both of my cuts have been excellent, and when I wanted a funky color combination on my hair this time she totally got it! Also, Shyla lets me bring my service dog in the salon with me. YES he's legally allowed anywhere but I get hassled by folks about it all the same even though he's more well behaved than 100% of children and 98% of adults. Everyone is friendly, checking in on you and your comfort often, offering beverages and snacks, explaining things and answering questions and never rushing. Since I have been coming my natural hair is so healthy and has grown immensely. After having locs and combing them out I was very concerned that I would not be able to save my hair but 29Eleven was able to help me get back on track. I would recommend booking on their website for appointments. The prices are really fair considering the outcome and quality of service you receive. There is plenty of parking and the location is accessible! I always look forward to getting my hair done here! I highly recommend for all natural hair textures.

One review even says something to the effect of "I let my hairdresser do what they want and figure it grows back if I don't like it". Are you kidding me??? No one says that! These reviews are awful fishy to me. There is no way that they are real. I'm still disgusted every day by the horrible haircut I received. I am having to curl it daily to make it look decent at my executive level job. It's suffering from heat damage and used to be long and beautiful. Had hair almost to my waist...Asked for 4 inches off, got at least 6. Told her that I wanted long layers, got layers that were at least 4 inches from the bottom of my hair, very choppy and only on the right side of my head. Told her I was growing my bangs out which were almost even with the rest of my hair (took about 2 years to grow out), asked for a little blending so it wasn't so choppy. She's fast, efficient, and fairly priced. Most of her clients are men, so she's more than experienced in cutting their hair. She's trimmed mine and my daughters hair before as well, and our hair also came out great. Try to come early if you can. She sometimes has 3 or 4 people waiting for a cut during busier times. Even still, she's quick. About 20 min average per cut. My son loves that she always provides him with a lollipop. We also stop in Thundercloud subs next door in the same plaza for a sandwich after. Definitely recommend both!
