I've gone to this salon for a haircut several times and for a plain men's haircut (fade and trim) so I can't speak to their other services and they've always delivered without any issues. From what I observe of the other customers getting different services, everything's great and I will continue to keep coming back. I don't look for or expect any frills when getting a haircut so my review is based on that perspective. From any other places in the vicinity, I haven't found anywhere that can beat them for quality, speed, and cost! For men's haircuts there are discounts as well on Tuesdays. I usually get an appointment because the place can get busy, understandably so, but if you call ahead, you can get a good estimate if you'll be waiting long or not. I didn't go to this salon for me but for my children instead. You will need to call in for an appointment for a cut as most times they are too busy for walk ins even for a quick children's cut. My two babes cost $36 for both and they do a great job on them. Any stylist really. They are friendly and ensure you are satisfy with the cut on your child. MY husband likes to get his hair cut here as well as he likes how his fade turns out. I sauna every day and my hair gets damaged. A few inches of my tips are clearly burned. I asked to get the dry tips trimmed and clean up the sides. The stylist starting cutting, I'm not exaggerating, 1 to 2 millimeters off my hair and when I told him I wanted the dry damaged parts off he patiently explained, like you would to an idiot, that I used the word trim and what he was doing is a trim. I'm not going to argue with a dude with scissors against my head. I told him to wrap it up and I'll never go here again. Two stars because I could have explained myself better. I could have come in with a three page dissertation on exactly what I wanted and he probably could have done it. Maybe they have other people there that are good? I'll never find out. read more

Well based on reviews I decided to try out Silverado hair salon in Cedar Park area off Parmer Lane. Even though I live in Leander it's not that far. I can tell you one thing for sure. Tony was my stylist and he is fabulous. He supports whatever you think will look best on you and does his best to make it look that way. In my case I finally got the color(s) that I've been wanting for months! I wanted something different! The stylists at the salon have a lot of tenure and as the reviews have stated it is family owned and operated which makes it nice. They do indeed have a lot of Asian customers and specialize in cultural hair styling but all other cultures/ethnicities too. I will definitely return and hope to have found a long term home for me and my hair. And by the way for a cut, color, shampoo and probably 50 foil highlights (at least)my bill was under $100. I took my grandson to this place to have his hair cut. There were two hair techs working. An older woman and a man. The woman was putting foils on a customer and the man was cutting someone's hair. The lady was close to the Receptionist desk and looked up, saw me and didn't say a word to me. No greeting, I didn't know if I was supposed to sign in. She didn't ask what I was there for and after finally finding the sign in I waited and still no acknowledgement. I decided to go someplace else. So, I would like to say that I was very nervous to try a new place. I have blonde hair naturally, and it's hard to keep up highlights and find a place that knows how. I booked online here from yelp on a Sunday! They got back to me very quickly and booked me for a Monday. Awesome! Ann was quiet but so am I, so it was ok. She asked me what I wanted and did it. All over foil, like a 100 foils it felt like, it had been 11 weeks and my hair was hit. She also conditioned my ends at the same time, AND, got the scalp so I had NO new growth showing at all! She deep conditioned, toned, highlighted, used purple shampoo as well, trimmed and slightly curled my hair all for 125.00!! And I have tons of hair!! Triple the product!! She was AMAZING!! Came in (with straight hair) for a wash and trim. Like another reviewer, I asked her to trim my bangs and even out the sides of my hair, with slight layers. It's like she heard layers and thought mullet. She completely rushed, I saw her get confused at one point and just started cutting away at my hair trying to even it out like I asked not realizing one side of my hair is very thick and the other side is significantly thinner. So now I have a mullet. Also, she did probably the laziest blow dry I've had at a salon. Didn't even try to blow dry it straight. I came in the salon looking pretty, expecting a trim, and left looking awful. I had to go home to straighten my hair before being seen by anyone else. She takes time for me before and after the appointment to make sure she understands what I want and if I am happy with the way my hair turned out. She is always willing to work with me and her main goal is to make me, the customer happy. I really appreciate her respect for being on time. Pretty average place to get hair done quickly and in budget if you are in rush (since I live nearby) I did root touch up which were okay, she missed a few strands here and there. But she also offered (in advance) to cover it up with no charge for next day. I was looking for a hair salon close to our house fort boys and my neighbors have been recommending Silverado. The price for kids is 12$ and it's super easy to make appointments. But also be aware they take walk ins and sometimes even though you have an appointment you might have to wait. I appreciate that they actually ask you how you want your child's hair cut to be as some places just cut it away and give them the typical "mullet" cut. But it came out great! They also offer deep conditioning for 25$ and since my bleached hair needed some TLC I opted to try their service. They use oplaplex (products which I actually use at home too). So basically I paid to have them put stuff on my hair I use to treat my hair at home. But since this salon is a family salon with no ambience whatsoever it might be not worth to come back for that service. Now to the hair cutting part. I asked to cut the dry ends and just to thin out some part. First when it was styled it looked fine but when I came home and checked carefully. It was butchered. I basically paid 85$ for a mediocre hair treatment and bad hair cut. But since they are so great with boys hair cut I'll still come for that. Just not for me.
