It was a year ago, in January 2018. Since then, I've been seeing Stephanie every 6 weeks as I need to constantly color my grey hair. Every time it is a pure joy and pleasure! She listens carefully what I'd like to do with my hair, from a haircut to a specific color, and suggests what would be the best. Stephanie never promises to do something that can't be done. Another great thing is that the time allocated for the haircut is purely yours! Stephanie doesn't take multiple clients at a time, her attention is 100% yours all the time. I always look forward next appointment with Stephanie, as I know it would be a quality time with interesting conversations, and in the end I will leave her salon with an amazing haircut and a great hair color! As someone who is always looking for great hair advice, I'm happy to let her post this here. :) "A few years back, a "stylist" messed up my long, thick, SHINY, hair with bad hair color that made my hair growth practically stop and shed like you have no idea. Not only that, but my hair became dull and fried-looking like a barrel of black hay. On top of THAT, the stylist chopped it off and layered it after I specifically asked her to DUST THE ENDS - you know how it is - you ask them to trim half an inch, and next thing you know, your hair is up to your shoulders. But the owner of Stylistix - ZOYLA - is bringing my hair back to life and getting it grow again by using gentler, more organic coloring techniques. She also does exactly what you ask of her, so if you say to cut off 1/20 of an inch, she will do exactly that. And if you're thinking about getting bangs or chopping off your hair, she'll warn you from doing it if she thinks it's a bad idea. She's also a painter, so she's brilliant with color mixing and matching. Whenever I leave her chair, I'm always very happy. It's been a long road back to a healthy head of hair, and I'm still struggling because the damage and length cut was so extensive, but Zoyla is making good things happen for my hair again.
