Mychel is absolutely amazing. I've had my hair highlighted so many times and it's been a disappointment every time. I'm extremely picky. It got to the point that I didn't even want to try anyone new. I like to go from super dark to super light back-and-forth all the time, which is no easy job for any stylist! But Mychel does an amazing job with me and my hair. Mychel O'Brien is my amazing stylist. Before coming to Mychel I struggled with finding my person for hair, I have very thin brittle hair. I had also been box colorinI had given up, my hair was naturally a disaster. When I finally got my hair colored and extensions put in (which I have had extensions many times) the quality of the hair and how beautiful my color was!!!!!! Mychel has done my hair for over a year, and I'm not an easy client in regards to hair ;) I like to be black black or white white with just the right amount of dimension. Mychel would practically reserve a whole day for me so if needed we could tweak anything after we were already done. She is truly an artist and works until her client is 100% happy. I'm so happy I found Mychel! Let me start by saying she didn't have much to work with because my hair was DESTROYED by another stylist. She made me LOVE my hair again. I seriously got into my car and cried happy tears. She brought my hair back to life and put the cutest style into it. I waited almost a week to review my hair because I wanted to wash and style it myself to see if I still loved it as much as I did when she styled it. I do I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. First let me start by saying Mychel O'Brien my new and forever stylist is FANTASTIC!!! After a completely traumatic event I ended up with a two inch bald spot right smack in the top middle of my head, no hiding it..... I was devastated. My daughter who recently had her hair done by Mychel and looks great said give her a call. I AM SO GLAD I DID! Not only did she take me on the same day I called but she made my hair look BETTER THAN IT HAS EVER LOOKED! ( I'm getting tons of compliments) but that's not all, NO BALD SPOT!!! It's covered! She was so gentle and careful with my head injuries and to top off all of this.... the next morning she called me and gave me a hair product to help with re growth FOR FREE!!! Had such a great experience with Mychel! It was my first time doing anything with my virgin hair and I was so nervous to go lighter. Mychel could not have been more helpful and reassuring. She let me know that everything is fixable and I will not leave unhappy. I did not feel like I was a rushed client and she really took pride and care in her work. I showed her the picture of the look I wanted and she explained that it was a balayage. I have very dark brown hair and I was terrified of it turning orange and brassy. It looked absolutely stunning after it was done and was exactly the color I wanted! Her advice to buy purple shampoo to help keep the color was a life saver too! I have had this color in for a few months and it still looks beautiful! Whenever it starts getting brassy I put the purple shampoo in and it's brand new again!
