I have a very long (almost to my wait) black typical Asian hair and have waited for 6 years to finally find a place and person I can go back to!!! I found my perfect hairstylist who can finally cut my hair right, color my hair the right color, and do EXACTLY what I want in a short amount of time. Sela is amazing. I couldn't believe how precise and fast (and I mean FAST) her work was. My "fall" color is perfectly blended with my blonde highlights. My heavy-weighted hair is now lightweight from the thinning tool. My hair is trimmed at the perfect length. It's very low maintenance and still looks nice. She only took ONE HOUR instead of my typical 4 hr visits to the salon. My previous ones were good, but they would take 3-4 hrs, charge me an arm and leg b/c of my super thick hair, didn't know how to cut my hair the way I wanted at times, they were incapable of doing the wispy hair technique, didn't do the right amount of layers, didn't thin my hair enough, use 4 products on my hair to where my hair would feel so nasty, etc. This lady is a hair goddess. Convenient, knowledgeable, professional hair styling! I am new to town and needed my hair done last minute to go to my sister's wedding. I called on a Saturday, and Sela agreed to see me Sunday afternoon. What a lifesaver! I wasn't going to do anything crazy to my hair, but Sela told me how to make my hairstyle fit my features better, and made me feel comfortable and confident with her abilities, so I went with it. I am so glad I did! Sela took into consideration my lifestyle (2 small children) and kept it long enough to pull up, but still look good. She put in a color that would allow me not to have excessive upkeep. I am one of those women that hates getting her haircut. I will stall and stall until I pull over in a random salon and give someone a chance because I am desperate. I saw Sela's gallery of photos and was excited to make an appointment. It was Christmas time and I had events to attend three days in a row and was in pretty desperate need of some TLC for my hair! I have long thick red hair, I've had the same hairstyle for years. I went to Sela for a perm, I just needed something new. I've had a perm done before @ a different salon and it turned out awful. I was hesitant to get it done & I had no idea where to go so I goggled & found her, I saw that she had a 5 star rating & all her customers seamed very pleased. I was looking for a good salon after recently relocating to League City. After three disappointing cuts at two local salons I thought I might have to take a trip back home. I had previosly gotten ombe hair that complety ruined my hair at another place... so Sela came to the rescue and put life back in my hair she made it soft and shiny and added a vibrant color to it and she was able to squeeze me in with short notice and gave me a special deal because it was my first time going to her. Isela is an absolute hair god send. It's been years since I've found someone that can manage and care for my long thick Polynesian hair needs. I saw Sela today and I am so happy. She helped me so much. I received chemo for a year for breast cancer. My hair is currently about 2 inches long.
