He then argued with him when he told him this is not what he asked for. I have been going there for year's. I am gonna find a new place. Worst experience. Worst service. Worst quality. I have been going to Hair by Tonya for 12 years and never had a bad experience. The women there were always attentive and kind. I appreciated their customer focus. I went last week and a woman whom I've never seen there before cut my hair. I explained what I wanted as I usually do. However she quite literally shaved my head. I actually gasped on the first swipe of the shears but it was already too late. Once my daughters saw my haircut they asked me if I'd enlisted even though i'm way too old. I always pop in for a quick wash, dry & style. I will say, they scrub the hell out of a dry itchy scalp, which is sooooooooo nice. I always have a little concern about the wire round brushes ripping through my hair during the style, but it works out in the end for those hairs that aren't ripped to shreds during the process. Highly recommend if ever in a pinch, you have an event to get to and need a wash & style. I will continue to go here for this purpose, and maybe even the occasional layered maintenance hair cut. I bring my boys here as well There is an older lady named Helen , Last chair on the left, who does the best job on kids compared to any of the other ladies. This place is good for women, men, and children. The ladies who work here are hard to understand but if you ask questions they will always explain. You have to tell them that you want the basic $10 haircut if that's what you want. They will ask if you want your hair washed or with layers or bangs and everything is extra so just let them know from the beginning. Went there this morning to get a trim. I got home and it was uneven in the front. I went back and she explained that it's because I have layers. She repeated a million times that she asked if I wanted her to blend it and I said no. I must not have understood what she was saying because why would I want uneven hair? She was very nice and fixed it for free. Great price for a basic trim, would recommend! read more

I came in for a simple haircut and ended up leaving with one side burn! The hairdresser asked if I wanted her to trim it up and said "sure." Seems that she fucked up on one by completely shaving it off... She could have let me know and even the one up but instead I went home, to the gym, to the store before my girlfriend made me aware that I was missing a side burn... The older women near the window for pedicures is one of the best personnel to get your hair cut by, also the guy (young man) facing the street knows what he is doing. The older man in the middle is unreliable. Cut part of my ear cause he wasn't paying attention. Don't recommend letting him cut your hair. He has always never really payed attention when cutting my hair. As for the other people they are good enough to let them cut your hair. Not ear! read more

I'm gonna be straight up and say DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU LOVE YOUR HAIR. I had been growing out my hair for several years at this point and my family has been coming here since they were called "Hair by Tony." We normally have a good experience, but after this last time i went a couple days ago, I'll never come here again. As i said before, i had been growing out my hair and came in for a much needed trim. I literally said "just a trim" and the lady cut off over 5 inches of hair. Also, I have very thick hair and she cut the ends blunt and unevenly, and on thick hair this is VERY obvious. I am already having to go to another salon to pay and get this horrible haircut fixed. I paid $15 for this and so wish I could get a refund. At first, I was satisfied, but I wasn't wearing my glasses and assumed she hadn't cut off as much as I thought, but when i got home i was horrified and burst into tears. my hair takes an extremely long time to grow even with biotin supplements so to see this much cut off was astounding and I was so disappointed because this was the reason I took so long to get a haircut in the first place. I was very afraid they would cut off several inches of hair and leave me with a bad haircut and my fears were actualized. My first bad experience here was a few years ago and it was another issue where they cut my hair too short, and my family and I recalled that the lady who cut my hair this time was apparently the same one who cut my hair so many years ago. That time, I actually had my sister cut my hair to a pixie instead of the dora the explorer bob i got from this hairdresser. (i had asked for shoulder length and even showed an image that had shoulder length hair) The woman who cut my hair was the older woman who's booth was in the far back to the left.
