This review is solely for Muna. I have not had any services here other than eyebrow threading by Muna. I will say of all of the times I've come to get my eyebrows done, the owner (I believe) isn't too friendly. She doesn't greet you or anything, she seems very dismissive. But don't fret, Muna is there to greet you with a warm welcome and a smile. The salon is always clean and there's hardly ever a wait. I usually text her to see if she has any availability but, she also takes walk-ins. Muna is so nice and always takes her time. I always leave loving my eyebrows! I went to Muna to get my hair done. She is super sweet and was quoted the best price for a balayage. I do feel like my hair looks like more highlights than a balayage but I trust her judgement. It's probably cause I've never dyed my hair so light before so thats why I think they look like highlights. love my hair and she does a great job at prioritizing the health of your hair. Even though it is getting dyed she wouldn't dye it the color you wanted if she thought it would cause too much damage to your hair. read more

But wow muna listened to my worries about how I wanted my eyebrows still thick and she DELIVERED!!! I came today for my first time to see Muna for eyebrow threading. Due to being on Accutane which makes your skin very thin and fragile, I can't wax my brows and I dreaded getting threaded because usually people go slow and it's painful. However, Muna is so skilled and gentle it was a breeze. I had about two months of growth so I expected the pain but she's definitely an expert in her craft! She asked how I'd like them done (thick, thin, etc) and also asked if I wanted areas here and there removed or kept (due to uneven growth). Let me tell you, when I saw my brows in the mirror I was so ecstatic. I'm extremely picky and want as much thickness as possible and she nailed it. Muna is also very sweet, loves to chat, and wants to make sure you're very happy with the turnout. She's very affordable to boot :) read more

Before I would always go to my usual expensive curly hair expert in fear that anyone else would mess my hair up but Muna ensures that she colors every hair without coloring the skin (very challenging in my particular case ) and that after I leave with perfectly styled curls!!!! Muna does threading at this salon, and if you haven't gone to her for your hair removal needs you are missing out. Not only is she a joy to talk to but she actually cares. I say this having gotten my eyebrows and upper lip hair removed since I was as a 13 using a variety of methods (waxing, threading, plucking, etc.). Muna sincerely cares about what you want your eyebrows to look like, in my case, and will work with you and communicate with you what she is doing to achieve your personal best. I brought my elderly mother in law in for a haircut yesterday with Mary. I was a bit nervous because my mother in law can be a bit picky. Mary did a beautiful job with her hair. She told my forgetful mother in law what was going on and how nice her hair was and how pretty it was going to be when she was done. The entire appointment ended up completely changing her appearance and she left very Happy. So did I. I've been to Hair by Us multiple times and LOVE it. Lisa is my lady and she is awesome! She has a ton of knowledge about hair and always gives me really great tips--and recommendations for my hair in particular--that have actually really worked. She's introduced me to products that have been a God-send (and my hair is weird too and usually I have trouble finding products that work). They don't charge you a ton (actually, it's VERY affordable to other places I've been) for cuts and color and such. The vibe I get from there is that they really want to help you with your hair to make it the best possible. Lisa even gave me a small concoction to add to my shampoo just to help my color last as long as possible. It's not hard to get in which is also nice. After I posted my review the other day, I spoke with the owner, Theresa, and she apologized for what happened. I appreciated that she cared enough to speak with me. I ended up going in yesterday and Theresa did my color and cut. I really like what she did! It looks very natural, which is what I wanted. She made sure that I was happy with how my hair turned out and even let me know that if it wasn't what I wanted or if there was anything I wanted to change, that I could come back in and get it fixed. The salon isn't as nice as I'm used to, but what is most important to me is how my hair turns out...which I'm very happy with! My favorite channel, HGTV, was playing on a big screen TV, so I enjoyed getting to watch a few shows while I got my hair done. Being pregnant, I've been drinking a lot of water lately. I was happy I brought my Yeti with me because there was a water cooler there and I was able to refill it. Overall, a very good experience! read more

I have to say, I'm really pleased with my hair. I visited Theresa last Friday for a cut and natural looking color. She suggest the bayalage technique and it turned out fabulously! She cut some length off of my hair and it feels new and fresh and healthy.
