I have been going here since they opened. Yesterday was a horrible experience. I realize I was a walk on but I felt so berated by LuAnn. Told her before hand what I wanted. Came in 15 minutes early for an appointment for my son and was told to wait as it would only be a few minutes ...... 45 minutes later they were ready for him. Totally unacceptable!! I am so upset!! Took my boy for his hair cut for the 2nd time there. My son has a beautiful curly long hair. 1st time all we did was a fade at the bottom, she did a great job though I was charged $14 for just a fade ! Anyways, since she did a good job I figured I should see her again and this time cut the length a bit since it was too long. She did not do a good job with the fade, but ho well , she cut the length ... I can't even describe it.. so terrible! A joke ! I could've done a better job! The front is long, the back is some shorter then the rest.. not even close to be even. She put his hair up right away so I didn't even notice how bad it was. Trish is the best hair stylist you could ask for! Been going to her ever since I found her she does my hair with such ease and poise! Timely manner (I used to sit for 4-6 hours and she does it in 1 1/2-2 depending on what I ask for) and I leave with what I wanted, I don't have to worry or stress, and leave relaxed and happy every time! I couldn't ask for a better hair stylist she's hands down the best I've ever experienced (I've gone to 5 star salons and business owners who have been voted #1 but this girl has my vote she's a rock star and I've never seen anything like it before every time it shocks me after all the ppl I went through making me feel like my hair was difficult because of length or thickness) and as long as she does hair I will only go to her. Simply a dreadful customer service experience. Took my 87 year old father there to get a haircut, and after waiting 10 minutes and getting him situated I added my own name to the list- I was next. 10 minutes later a lady walked in, added her name to the list and was told there were now 2 in front of her - me being one of them. 5 minutes later she's in a chair getting service, my Dad is done and I'm still waiting. I had specifically requested next available so he wouldn't have to wait long in those comfy metal lawn chairs they provide - he is recovering from hip surgery. When I protested politely I was told the woman had requested that specific stylist so I would have to wait for the next one. WTF!?! Well I finally got my third hair cut from this particular Hair Cuttery location and I am ready to give my review. I will say that my experience was very positive on all three visits. I got my hair cut from three different stylists and each of them provided not only a great hair cut, but a great experience as well. Beginning with the physical appearance of the location, it was neat and clean throughout. The inside was kept clean as everyone stayed on top of their mess. I used the restroom and that was kept clean and odor free as well. The physical appearance was more than satisfactory. The person who greeted me was very polite and courteous on all three occasions. I was notified of the wait time and it was always within minutes of the estimate. I really liked that a lot. All three stylists were very knowledgeable and asked all of the appropriate questions. Most importantly, they all listened to my needs and concerns before beginning on my particular hair cut. They were all very personal and started casual conversations immediately. This made me feel very comfortable from the start (which is important for me). Trust me when I say that I would not have been back a second or third time had the time before not been above average. I am now very comfortable with this location and will use it whenever I am not setting another salon up for a review. "Highly Recommended" for all haircut styles! read more

Avoid this place on the weekends if possible. Besides that, I like this place. I've had a few cuts there since we moved here and I take my kids here too. Typical Hair Cuttery where you put your name down (if you didn't make appointment), sit and wait for your turn. I wished it was bigger though (hence the 4 stars). 6 chairs is not enough and not alot of standing room only too. The price is right and plenty of parking and close to shopping (Target, Martins, Dicks) and nearby food places too (Ledo's, Chipotle and IHOP to name a few). Never left unhappy. There have been three different times I have had to wait 30min to 1hr before they called my name. One of those times, they completely forgot I was in the waiting section. I have Jessica cut my kids hair and she does a great job. I have put off cutting my hair since moving here in August because I felt a loyalty to my old hairdresser, but I got over it and got my hair colored and cut by Andrea and she did a fabulous job. Will definitely keep going here. read more
