First time I went for pedicure wasn't happy . All the side of my toe nails weren't painted. That was $50. 2nd time for a manicure from the man there and it looked great but wasn't happy when I asked for acrylic with nail polish . I even picked and gave him my color . Yvonne gave me an AMAZING pedicure! I was way overdue for a pedicure. Some of my toenails tend to be ingrown, and I normally get them done every three weeks. Well, they were about five weeks overdue, so you can imagine what kind of shape they were in. Yvonne worked on them gently and diligently for close to an hour, getting them back into shape. (Fortunately, I keep my calluses under control every time I take a shower, so she did not have to do any scraping.) The hot towel and massage were a blessing. Absolutely flawless service on a pedicure this morning by "Tina". My feet are both tender and ticklish and she did a wonderful job. I am giving my toenails a rest from polish for a few weeks but I did see that they have a very wide selection of colors and finishes on their nail polish racks. I will NEVER return to this salon. I take pride in my nails and spend at least $60 sometimes twice a month when getting them done. I decided to give a local salon a chance, kind of out of necessity but figured, "how difficult could liquid gel nails be in a NAIL SALON". Well... I initially called to ask if they could do "dip powder" nails and the lady said yes but that she couldn't do them until 2 (I called at 12:30) so I asked about taking off my dip powder and putting liquid gel on because my natural nails are super thin from years of getting them done and she said yes. PERFECT. I get there and they soak the dip powder off and the nail techs keep speaking in their language back and forth and I kept hearing "liquid gel" every few words or so... so I'm thinking "are they trying to find someone that can do it?!" So we get all the powder off and the lady suggests I use shellac. She keeps asking and asking do I know what it is and I finally said NO, because clearly there was something *new* about it that she wanted to share. Nope. Same 'ol shellac. She suggests I use that over my nails because it's cheaper and just as good. I asked SEVERAL MORE TIMES if this would dry "hard" as again, my natural nails are thin. She smiles and yes "oh yes". So I do it. I paid $5 for the dip powder removal - perfectly fine - and $22 for the gel polish (no manicure included in this btw). My nails still felt soft but I assumed that they'd "harden" because the nail professional said so. They never hardened. So the next day, I go back. Memorial Day. With the understanding that they may not be open normal hours so I went in around 4:00. She says when I walk in "oh you need a repair?" which to me says she's remembered Be from the day before. I explained no - that my nails never hardened l, they hurt when doing anything and that they weren't what I was told they'd be the day before and that I wanted the liquid gel over my nails. She immediately says "oh it'll be an hour wait and we are closing soon". ILL WAIT. So I wait a little while then get in the chair and the guy asks why I don't want the dip powder. AGAIN, WHAT IS THIS FEAR OF LIQUID GEL????? Even while he was putting the LG on, he asked if I'd ever had it before (I said yes, id been doing that kind for 2 years) and he keeps asking basically why I want that kind. Umm, because it's MY money and I want to PAY for what I WANT/LIKE. So it comes time to tell me my cost. He says that LG is usually $55 but he would give me a $5 discount this time since I was just there the day before. FIVE DOLLARS. REALLY?! When you didn't give me what I asked for the day before. Ok cool. I paid it and will NEVER EVER give them my business again. Oh, and by the way, it was about 5:45 when I got done and as I'm there they're continuing to let people in telling them they can service them (with attitude) all while telling others on the phone that they were closing at 5. I get that this is a business and you need to make your money but come on. AND my nails look HORRIBLE. Polish is sloppy around the cuticle. Dips and divots in the gel, and they're uneven. WORST $77 I've ever spent in my life. They could've at least took the $22 off I paid the day before since I was convinced I was getting what I asked for. Terrible. Sincerely, Michelle S. read more

This place is not kid friendly. My toddler was being a little too busy while we were waiting and we were ultimately refused services after they said I could do my nails and come back another day for my toes. I do not recommend this place based on this experience alone. read more

I came in with my aunts and my daughters (one is 4 mo, one is 2 yr). Of course the two year old was acting like a kid. When we got here there was a half an hour wait which proceeded to turn into an hour while we waited for all 3 of us to go at the same time. When it came time for us to get in the chair i was questioned if someone was going to hold my 2 yr old since there were chemicals and what not. I said yes and then i was requestioned about it. Needless to say I did not choose to stay because I was beyond irritated. I would not let my child act reckless, plus she was going to get her toes painted. Ok, so I have had my nails done by the guy who sits close to register before and he did a great job. But last time I went to get a full set and they turned out awful. My cuticles were all jacked up and I had to have them re done by another salon and it haven't been 2 weeks. I refuse to ever go back there for nails. I came in 45-30 minutes before closing and they agreed to take me in. The lady was very nice and spoke good english. She shaped my botched nails beautifully and claimed she had been doing nails for 17 years. Amazing shape, truly. Polish was great too. I got sssoooo many compliments! Not streaky, opaque in all the right places, and very shiny. She genuinely cared if I liked them, and I appreciated her asking me to pay before she put the polish on. She even told me she hoped I wasn't driving so they could dry properly and thoroughly. It's little touches like that that I love! Best fill in I have ever had, I wish I lived in the area and I was only there to visit a friend. A little pricier, 17$ for a fill in but totally worth the extra 2$ from what I usually pay. Absolutely the worst!!! Nail salon I have EVER been too! The guy was yanking on my fingers twisting my thumb and instead of asking for my other hand he THREW my hand back!!!!!! I tried to make the best of it by asking where he was from he said Culpeper and I tried to make small talk then he blurted he doesn't live in Culpeper! My thumb is super sore I have divets in my acrylics and glue all over my fingers plus polish all over my cuticles if I knew how to post pictures of nails I would!! I just left the salon, asked for gel mani pedi. Picked out a light pink. The manicurist told me to "pick a color", as instructed I did. next i was informed" they "no have that color gel" so I picked out 2nd color, questioning its translucency ( I distaste clear or nude tones) welp, ended up with clear nails. Wish someone would have said those are clear when I asked orignally because I spent 57! On regular polished toes and gel clear with bubbles! Usually I don't complain but as a professional cosmetologist, that is not a nail techition I figured " hey let's leave it to the professionals". Boy was I wrong, vacations tomorrow. I have been going here for some time to get my nails done. They are always welcoming. They remember your name and any specifics you like or don't like. I can be picky. In fact there was a Saturday that I arrived near the closing time and they stayed open to do my nails. They not just stayed open but treated me very well the entire time. They did not rush to get done and I appreciate that. I have been to other places because of location or timing and always come back here because they are very good.
