I was surprised that my hair weren't shampooed at all during my service. I did a perm so he rinsed my hair a couple times.. but no shampoo before or after. The worst thing is their towel on the washing bed (the one that would contact with your neck). It smells (like dirty towels) and the location got contact with it felt itchy afterwards the smell from the dirty towel remains on my neck as well until I shower at home this should never happen at a four dollar sign salon. Besides that, the store was clean and quiet. My appointment was 1PM - 4 PM. Only two people were working at that time--the two owners. Tbh it was the first time I saw a hairdresser do everything himself--all the preparation, cut, perming, washing, etc. The limitation of staff resulted in lack of attentiveness. During the perm, the medicine touched my face, and overall the experience was not up to the standard. I really hope that they can improve because hair coco has lots of potentials.

He has the magic touch. My hair would never last longer than a week when I went to other salons but my hair now lasts two plus weeks! When I leave style lab my hair is silky and light as a feather. I will continue to go here even though it's a hike for me because he specializes in natural hair and is really into good hair care. Sam his assistant is the best hair washer ever. He works it OUT. This is a pleasing review…read more I stopped in looking for a hat. I work close by and have been told they have a few to choose from. Unfortunately, due to the holidays they were low on stock and none were to my liking. But, I noticed they had a bar upstairs. Since I wasn't able to spend time hunting for a hat, I had time for a beer. Typically, I search for breweries, but in this case I opted for a beer. This one did not disappoint me. I am a Guinness fan, but 99% of the pubs stores their kegs next to the others beers. To me that is a no-no. I am not interested in drinking frozen beers which kill my taste buds. But then I heard the owner prefers the drink at a warmer level. Here, they actually store the keg in a different location. The pour allowed me to sip the black stuff within a minutes time after it settled. Wow I'm impressed. As for the place, it is a bit more pricey than the burbs, but not astronomical as some may think.
