WARNING, DO NOT GET HAIR EXTENSIONS HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOOSE YOUR HAIR!!! I had posted a positive review for this place when I first got my extensions in, but after I went back to get them removed and replaced (moved up), I experienced the WORST NIGHTMARE with my hair. First off, I saw Lindsay when I was considering hair extensions, I went to her to get a consult and see if it's gonna be a good fit. She convinced me that it was, and seemed like she knew what she was doing. She worked out a deal for me that included the extensions, install, remove, wash and re-tape. Which was ALL PREPAID. I was happy with the initial install, but when I went to get them moved up, she tried to charge me another $900!!!! If I didn't have her text message to prove the original pricing that we had agreed on, she was ready to rip me off!! Second, the way she removed them and got them installed, she did it completely WRONG. 2 weeks after the reinstall, the extensions were breaking off the glue and coming out of my head in pieces, leaving GLUE IN MY HAIR!!!! It was a disaster. And she tried to blame it on my maintenance, and said a product, which she sold to me at the initial install of the hair was causing the extensions to break off as opposed to her totally ignorant way of reinstalling the extensions. I paid $900 for hair that I was supposed to reuse at least 3 times and she completely ruined it!! It was perfectly great before she removed it and retapped it. Since then, I tried to make sure that I didn't do anything wrong so I wouldn't be unfair to her. So I visited 4 different certified hotheads extensions technicians, told them all the details, and showed them every product I have used on the extensions, and they all told me that no product could have ever caused this issue. And the only reason why they would come off this way is if the install was done incorrectly!!! I LOST SO MUCH OF MY HAIR JUST TO GET THE GLUE OUT!! My hair has been damaged to the point that will need at least a year to grow back out. I WAS CRYING EVERY TIME I LOOKED AT MY HAIR. IT IS ABSOLUTELY DEVASTATING. And in return, I get EXTREMELY RUDE response when I ask for a refund. She was completely unwilling to issue any sort of refund for these damages. And since she is the business owner, there's no one else that can help me get my money back. Luckily, I work at a law firm and I will be able to take her to court to fix this damage. I started going here a year ago. I needed a haircut right before going on a first date and this place happened to be right near my work, so I figured I'd give it a try. Walking in, I was greeted by a friendly staff! They told me that they had a somewhat tight schedule, but they could squeeze in my men's haircut if I waited about 10 minutes. While I waited, they offered me multiple choices of beverages. I ended up getting my haircut by a girl named Emily. Now, I have been the type of person to go anywhere for my haircut whenever I needed it, but ever since my first experience here, I have made The Parlour my go to place and Emily as my go to girl! She cut my hair better than I've ever had it anywhere else. Every time I go, she is always so happy and everyone is always in a great mood. For a more upscale place than my usual going-to's, this place is reasonably priced as well. I recommended it to my family and now my mother, sister, and grandmother even go there! Talking around my office, I have found out that a few of my coworkers go there as well and even have Emily too! This place is the best and I easily give Emily and the rest of the staff a 5/5! read more

Such a lovely and easy experience at The Parlour. The minute you walk in, the decor stands out as clean, well cared for, and sweet. A mix of new and vintage, and very light and bright from all the natural light. A calm and relaxing waiting area allows you the space to decompress for a moment before the pampering begins. Jenn is so friendly and kind and, almost most importantly, nails my hair every time. I went red last summer and my last stylist never got the color exactly how I wanted it. Jenn really understood what I was going for and I will never go anywhere else! The treatments they offer at The Parlour seem to make a difference in the quality of my hair. The split-end treatment left my hair so smooth for several weeks - a month I think! Her "bedside manor" is perfect, and she bends over backwards to accommodate her clients. The products are simple and perfect and my hair loves them! And my whole self looks forward to my hair appointments! This shabby chic salon meets clean modern decor. Emily Brilliant and I were introduced almost 2 years ago. I went from weekly blowouts, Brazilian straightening, fun beach waves, and now full head of highlights. I'm beyond pleased with Emily and entire crew at the Parlour! It is a unique experience getting any service here. Lacy does an amazing job with shaping and waxing my eyebrows. Her facials are simply hydrating and leave my skin bright and glowing. Francesca is always here to give a smooth blowout and can create super straight hair or fun waves like you just were on the beach. Lindsay the owner, not only knows the flare of hair but has a knack for decor. When you walk in the door it makes you feel happy. This place is a decorated like a showroom but you feel at home! Great service and great hair stylists. I've been seeing Emily here and she always helps me figure out what I want to do with my hair, even when I am not sure what I want. They're all very friendly and very welcoming as well. The product line they use is also my favorite. After visiting many salons I finally found Emily at The Parlour. She is excellent with both color and cut. Her recommendations are always helpful and the service is top notch. Francesca Marchese was fantastic! I went in for a trim and she ended giving me the best haircut I've ever had. She was very pleasant and knowledgeable about products & hair. After my haircut she gave me a beautiful hairstyle, a messy french braid. I loved it!
