comfortable atmosphere 10 points welcoming and friendly staff 10 facility spotless and sanitary practices followed 10 my hair cut isn't what I wanted -3 it's hair it will grow back BUT it is totally even, not one hair got away from Christina 10 points for precession. my complaint is on the color -7 but you get +10 on your for foiling technique. I do not prefer being this light in color withou a tan. I wrote a review and after styling my own hair, I have now recanted. It wasn't the cut or the color of my hair, it was the condition of my hair. Hopefully, I will win the contest for the gift basket to give my hair and scalp the love that had been neglected to my hair, due to my medications and treatments. I received the most awful hair cut from a woman with half white and black hair. She totally ignored my requests. I was so upset that when she didn't even clean up my neck, I don't care, I just left. Vibe was frustrating because every 5 seconds she would stop to carry conversations with other people. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. First time going here my hair cut was horrible. It wasn't what I wanted plus it it was greatly uneven. I tried to go back again to get it fixed but they canceled my appointment with no notice notice whatsoever. I will NEVER go back! read more

stylist Summer Escobar is the absolute greatest!! Not only does she do wonders with my hair ( as I am quite "hair challenged " with thin fine hair) but she is very sweet and kind. I've already told her that if she ever leaves, I go with her-and I'm totally serious about that!! She does little extras ( new towels, extra towels with perms, etc) that just let her caring professionalism show through. Salon itself is clean and bright. pPrices have been raised but I would pay them without blinking because I just love Summer! read more

My husband has been going there for a few years now and they always cut his hair great. I've been leery of having mine cut for several years since a horrible cut (not at a Hair Cuttery) after coming out with a dyed forehead and basically a mullet. I brought my boys in the get their hair cut for the and they did an amazing job. I asked if they could squeeze me in and they went ahead a did and I loved my new cut! I'll be back in a few weeks for a trim. I will update when I get the stylist name :). read more

Before we started, I described exactly what I wanted and showed my stylist, Erin, an inspiration photo. She also showed me a similar reference photo that was slightly less light, and we agreed on the overall look. When the appointment was over my stylist made it a point to show me the back first because she acknowledged it didn't look like what we discussed. She styled it nicely to try to disguise it. She even commented that the front hadn't received enough bleach. Since we both recognized it wasn't the result we discussed, I scheduled a follow up appt before I left the salon. However, when I called about the follow-up, I learned it was being treated as a new color service that included another toner, root-touch up, and money pieces. I wasn't looking for money pieces or a different service, I just wanted the ombré we had discussed to be more noticeable, in the back and especially in the front. I don't feel comfortable paying for another color service when I felt the original result was not what we agreed on. So I won't be returning. Everyone was polite while I was there but I'm very disappointed with both the outcome of my appointment and how the follow-up was handled.

I sat down with a tech who told me she could do the checkered design (pictured) and was comfortable. She helped me pick the two colors and got started. During the filing process she made my cuticles bleed on three fingers. She did apologize, but the appointment only got more uncomfortable from there. When she pulled out the plastic tips to put on my nails for the set, she made a comment that my nails are too small and that she would have to trim down the tips. She then took small scissors and cut both sides of the plastic tip off and glued them onto my nails. There was no curve to them, they were very rectangular. She attempted the design twice before insisting it did not look good and told me that I needed to choose a new color. I told her I liked the design, she told me she felt it was not pronounced enough and insisted we use black. I told her that I didn't like black, it was just too dark for me but after her persistence I agreed to try it. She created the look with the black in place and then outlined in white. I thought it looked nice and was not upset at all about it afterward. When washing my hands at home after the visit I realized that all of the nails were very jumpy and had bubbles in them. My pinkie on my left hand was completely warped and basically flat because of the way she trimmed the tip. I had no time to go back and after that experience I truly didn't want to. I ended up going to another salon, which looked at my nails and before I could even tell them what happened, they told me that the nails I had needed total reforming and fixing before I could get a fill. When I told them what was done, they were in total shock. This could have been a fluke, maybe she was new or overwhelmed but I will not be returning.

I really wasn't happy so Summer had me come back in to even out what the other stylist had done and she was a pleasure to work with! My hair was down to my back when I walked in there. I literally asked for a trim. I told the lady I would like to keep my length and I wanted just under an inch of my haircut off because I have a long, beautiful hair, she cut my hair all the way to about just my shoulders. I am so upset because I have been growing my hair out for so long.
