Never again. This place used to be decent but the customer service is complete trash these days. I attempted to get a haircut yesterday but couldn't even get acknowledged so I hung up and left. Yes, they had two chances in the same day. I have had cuts here before and never experienced issues. Check out my previous review and you will see I was rather satisfied. Around 2:30 I called to see if they had any openings for a quick wash and cut. The lady who answered the phone I could barely hear or understand. I think there may have been a language barrier. I asked about openings and she asked me to hold on. For almost five minutes I sat on hold and could hear talking in the background but not make out what was being said. I ended up hanging up. I drove there, walked in and encountered the same lady I assumed I "talked" to on the phone. She asked if I had an appointment and I said no. She went to get the other stylist to help me and I heard her say she'll be there in a minute. I stood there for SEVERAL minutes while she and two other stylists stood around yapping away while surrounding one client getting her hair cut. No, they were not discussing hair. They were talking about recent news events. After realizing their staff is unprofessional, rude and clearly don't want to make money I walked out. I will never be back. read more

Usually, I don't leave a review but several weeks ago, i came to the Pasadena location and I noticed a young child slamming into things and running around and I thought it belonged to one of the clients there. But I discovered the child belongs to the manager. after watching i noticed other customers frowning because it scared them. that's supposed to be a place of business and not only that it's very dangerous to have your kid running around in a atmosphere with tools and appliances. I walked out and decided to go somewhere with my haircut. I will let people know not to come to that unprofessional place. read more

What an experience. No issues with the hair cut but the customer service was a BIG FAT ZERO! I took my mother-in-law in for a 10:00 am haircut appointment, arriving about 20 minutes early. All started well, we arrived early and they got her straight into a seat and got to work. I saw that there where several other folks sitting around with no one's hair to cut. I asked if I could get my hair cut while I was waiting on my mother-in-law. I was told no, I needed to come back at 1:00 pm. So, I sat there, not getting my hair cut, while these employees sat there not cutting anyone's hair, while I waited for my mother-in-law's hair to get finished. REALLY...... how can one think for a moment they care about customer service if they expect me to make an extra trip in the afternoon, burning more gasoline on an additional trip, when they had folks sitting there who could have done it all while I was there. The kicker is that my mother-in-law's hair was finished before her 10:00 appointment time. I asked if I could then use her 10:00 time appointment (since it was just now turning 10:00). They said no, I needed to come back at 1:00pm. I am done with this place and hope you are too. read more

I cannot express how thankful I am that Nicholas was styling my hair today. I had a general idea of a style I was looking at. Nick made suggestions on how to change it a bit to work with my hair and lifestyle. It turned out better than I could ever imagine. There isn't anything worse than getting a new style and when you go to replicate what was done to you, you look silly. Nick is now my "go to" guy! Ahh, where do I start ... made an appointment for my 15 y.o daughter for simple haircut /trim. We came in 10 min prior to our appt. Were taken in on time and literally so called stylist Robyn spend more time on spraying my daughters hair with water and putting on apron rather than on actual haircut . Appointment was at 3 pm and she was done at 3.05 . Even though my daughter repeatedly said she wants her hair a bit shorter response was " I have another client coming in now" . I was charged $23 . Left with very disappointed teen and 23 bucks short . Horrible ,needless to say will not go back . Hope whoever owns the place will explain to stylist that if you are "super busy" ( we were alone there) do jot pick up any new appointments if you are not capable on delivering . Jessica was incredible I had a super F-ed up hair cut that what was supposed to be an inverted bob hair hair cut that was messed up two times by 2 different hairstylists previously the second one tried to fix it but made it worse. This experience was completely different Jessica was an Angel she completely transformed my hair and used thinning scissors to take the bulk out and made it look exactly like the picture. She used several new techniques to create the perfect cut and she did it so quickly too is the thing that blew me away because the other hairstylists I went to took a really ling time because they didn't know what they were doing. I visited this location 2 weeks ago and was told a 30 min wait. No biggy... Turned into over 2.5 hours! I know I could have left but the longer I sat I might as well have gotten a cut. The girl who finally took me was really nice, and did a good job, so I thought I'd give them another try with my daughter. We went last night to get one foil of purple in my daughters hair. Her birthday was the following day and picture day the day after that. We were told 30 min and went next door the the Verizon store. That took longer than expected so I was told to come back tomorrow. Sure, no big deal, didn't realize we would be in the Verizon store as long as we were. I ask if I could please make an appt, they say no. I ask if 3 pm is a busy time and they said its a great time to come in. Pick up my daughter early from school to get there by 3 (it's her bday and we were going out later to celebrate) and the lady said they just got a box in but hadn't opened it yet. (The color) and to come back tomorrow. Um, no thanks. We will not be coming back. Ridiculously unorganized and not worth it. Happy Birthday kid. So frustrating. read more

This place couldn't hire a more miserable set of stylists. First, the manager came up front and complained about all the customers and told them she had things and didn't understand why everyone wanted to be "fancy" today. She then went down the list and told everyone who had been waiting it would be over an hour and that they should leave and come back another time. Ten minutes later another stylist came up front and called six names. None of those six people were there because they'd been told to leave by the manager. That's when Jordan finally came over to announce that after waiting for forty five minutes it would be at least another hour. Customer service is a joke! How about 'welcome' or 'how are you?'. Getting eye contact would be a surprise - an eye roll is more like it. Don't waste your money. I came here to get a quick haircut for my son and ended up deciding not to pay money to feel like a bother to the stylist Dawn's day. Honestly I come here every 6-8 weeks for a trim and these ladies are always so nice. I moved here 2 years ago and have been coming often. I stay quiet and just go in to get a trim. I come out happy without any frills. I just got my hair trimmed last week and decided to do something different and got an Ombre and Jordan did a fantastic job! There is always a wait but it is because they do great work. I would definitely recommend this place. If you do come and get your hair cut you need to come early, they get filled up quick. read more

I was out of there in a half hour, my hair looking great, my confidence level high, and did I mention it was very easy on the pocketbook? So I arrived at 5:45pm with my son. Another individual arrived at the same time; signed-in; sat down; nothing said to her. (Nothing said to me, either, e.g., "HELLO!" or "Welcome"). I tap the screen on the kiosk to begin signing-in, but then I'M informed that..."The shop is closing at 7pm. There are several others who have signed-in, but "WHO ARE NOT HERE YET. THEY MAY OR MAY NOT SHOW." (Again, the person in front of me had JUST signed-in, too, and nothing was said to her). So instead of waiting on a customer who is in the shop and ready to pay, what I hear quite clearly is that the $18 they'll charge me for the 15 minutes it takes to trim my 10 year olds' hair isn't worth the return on their investment. There were THREE stylists "on-duty" and only one was with a client. ... I will NEVER! go back. I will NEVER! go to another Hair Cuttery. Too many alternatives. Do not need to be made to feel a "bother" and thus subject to being "dismissed." My advice is to pay heed to the other reviews on here regarding this location. The customer service isn't lacking...it's absent. read more
