Even if she has another client she manages her time so well you may not even see that person. You don't have to wait. - Dani takes a long time. Go with the expectation of you gone be there a while. You can't rush quality. She cares about the health of you hair. She babies my hair. She did a braid take down on me and each braid she made sure to be delicate so she didn't rip my hair out. But girl it took a long time and I really appreciate the tenderness she showed. Also, if you text her and she is with a client, don't expect a reply right away, she is gonna wait until she is done with her client. Actually, she may need to look in to getting a receptionist or assistant. - Dani will recommend treatments. And yes she uses cold water after the conditioner. - Dani listens to your wants. She will give her professional opinion if your wants are right for your hair condition. But it's up to you to choose to take her advice. - Dani delivers. I walk out looking like I could be in a photoshoot. She is very excellent at what she does. Wash n goes, sew in, clip in, color, braids (to die for miracle knot braids), cuts, trims, twists, braid outs, and a lot more. When I came in, Lucy greeted me and asked if I was ready and I said I was. Jokingly I asked if she was ready and she said yes. As we were headed to the shampoo area, another customer came in and Lucy told her she'd be right there and then said to me that she would quickly do this other customer and then come see me. I reminded Lucy that I had an appointment, but then I said OK I'll wait. After I sat down, Lucy took the other customer back to the shampoo area and began shampooing her hair. Having thought it over I decided to leave, and I let Lucy know. I realize this is not the first time this happened to me here. I do like the way Lucy cuts my hair, but I don't like being bumped by other people. I don't know if that woman was double booked or whether she was a walk-in, but either way it shouldn't have happened the way it did. If Lucy was running late, she should've called me and told me and we could've made other arrangements. But that didn't happen and she didn't call me after I left so I will sadly have to find another place to get my haircut.

Have messed up color and hair multiple times and then are mad when you question it or ask them to fix it. It's definitely cheaper here than other places but there are better aveda locations. You get what you pay for. I wouldn't recommended tried to stick with this place because they to support local businesses. But there are better salons in Columbia and Baltimore. Customer service is also terrible except one lady.

Without a doubt the absolutely best facial I've ever had. The room is so cozy and relaxing , Rose is so friendly and knowledgeable and she doesn't chat the whole appt which is a big plus for me since I want to relax. My skin has never looked better.
