I stopped by Hair Experts Plus because I needed a trim, but didn't have days to wait for an appointment. I'm so glad that I found them!! I called them and they were able to fit me in the same day. I asked for long layers, a trim, and face framing pieces. I got what I asked for and more. I really wanted a conditioning treatment and they were able to give me an Olaplex treatment. It didn't take too long and gave me the soft results I was looking for. I got lucky because I worked with a woman that was on her first week at Hair Experts, but it seems like she has a lot of experience with hair in general. I liked them so much that I brought my sister the next day. read more

What a wonderful, fun salon!! My sister and I visited for the first time this week. Cesar cut my hair BEAUTIFULLY!!! He listened, he understood, he suggested...and the result is fantastic. Jessica is my stylist and she always makes sure to be very thorough in getting the style/color I want, and if it won't work they talk out what would look good. Not only haha my hair always come our awesome, but thanks to Jessica, Noel, and Cesar teaching me proper hair care, my hair has actually grown in thicker and healthier. I found this salon on Yelp through their amazing reviews. I was still a little apprehensive about seeing a new hair stylist. I wasn't able to get into my regular hairdresser until a week out. I desperately needed to get my hair done for my birthday on the 25th. I called on the morning of the 24th and was able to get in 3 hours later!!! Messaged them early in the morning on Yelp to see if they could squeeze me in for that morning and Cesar answered me super quick and was able to make it happen. Chloe is the one that did my hair and she was so nice and did my hair exactly how I wanted it with no damage! Which says a lot because my hair always has to be cut afterwards because of the bleaching however my hair is still super smooth. The salon atmosphere was very laid back and friendly. Dean got me looking like a badieeee!! I have been letting my hair grow out for the past two years and it was time for a trim and to Frame my face better. I was nervous to schedule an appointment because I have super curly hair and not everyone knows how to cut curly hair. First, my Hairdresser Dean A+A+A+ Explained in detail the process I was about to encounter with my damaged hair. And believe me, IT was a process! What's the purpose of setting an appointment if they won't respect my schedule? First time here and never got to get my haircut because my "stylist" was with somebody else doing a hair style and supposedly she will be with me soon since my appointment was at 12:30, I'm no hairstylist but to me didn't seem she will be done soon, a least 15 -20 more minutes so I decided to walkout and leave and she calls me 20 minutes later asking if I'm going to have my haircut because she has to leave at 1pm, meaning she was barely done and supposedly wasn't even her customer (so why take her if I already had an appointment one week in advance) this is ridiculous. I was very excited to have them cut my hair because they seem ethically professional with their schedule system but they weren't. Here goes another salon hunt, I may have better luck somewhere else. read more

Hair Experts Plus is our new name. We, Cesar Ramirez and Noel Isaac Mendoza had been in the industry for over 16 years. We're excited to continue to provide the best knowledge and sculpting of hair. Cesar went to Academy of Beauty, in the city of Bell-gardens California. Noel went to Academy of Cosmetology of Los Angeles California.

Meet the Business Owner: Cesar, Noel R.

I Cesar Ramirez, started doing hair back in 1997. I worked at a hair salon in the city of Downey California for ten years. I was one of the hairstylist for Clippers & Lakers cheerleaders. Also part of the Spanish top show, De Todo un Poco with Spanish famous actor Omar Fierro. I was in charge of the beauty segment. My partner Noel Mendoza who is fourth generation hairstylist in his family., was in charge with me for the hair styling image for a modeling and acting academy of Los Angeles Patricia Sturla studio. Noel Mendoza was also part of a hair, makeup and nails show., call Battle of the strands Global Beauty Masters Show ( top stylist contest of the word) here in Las Vegas. My stylist did a great job with my haircut, and I could tell she's efficient and experienced. That said, I did run into an issue with the color service. The dye left visible staining along my hairline, temples/sideburn area, and behind my ears, which I wasn't informed about until after everything was done and I saw it in the mirror. The stylist did try to remove it, but it didn't come off easily, so I left with noticeable staining on my skin. I understand that things can happen, especially with different products, but I do wish there had been more communication in the moment and a more thorough final check/cleanup before I left the salon, especially since the staining was visible in multiple areas. Unfortunately, I'm not very comfortable waiting for it to fade on its own, and I'm also not inclined to return for a future service. Overall, I think this place has a lot going for it, but I hope they can improve the finishing process and post-service support so clients don't leave with unexpected issues. UPDATE: (response to Business Owner response) Thank you for the response, Emily. I appreciate you taking the feedback into consideration. I understand that staining can sometimes happen, but my concern was more around the visibility in multiple areas and that it wasn't fully addressed before I left. I've had my hair colored many times in the past and haven't experienced this level of staining, which is why it stood out to me. I'm glad to hear you'll be focusing on improving the final check and communication moving forward.

First off I saw her IG and was impressed, now I'm convinced her photos are filtered. I met with her 2 weeks prior to the service so she could look at my hair which by the way had not been touched in a year so it was all virgin hair and I explained to her my last stylist moved abd I asked for an ash blonde balayage, haircut with choppy ends, a money piece and dimensional color. She said no problem and quoted me $385 for everything including toner. I left a $150 deposit and scheduled for 2 weeks later. Day of service, Jade didnt seem to remember me or a damn thing I asked for which is where I should have left. I had to repeat myself , show her the inspiration photo again and she again claimed she could do what I asked. I KNEW I was in trouble when not only did she have 2 other people she was doing the same time as me, but when she started doing nothing but just slapping bleach on me with no care to where she was placing the foils, no teasing, no care to placement. She literally was just slapping foils on my head. Then when she went to wash it she says " you are going to be more neutral". Right there is knew she was sugarcoating the fact she messed up! NEVER in the 20 years I have had my hair highlighted has a stylist said this and NEVEsr has my hair come out SO awful!!! Then she doesnt even blow dry me, her assistant does, THEN my so called " haircut" I swear to god she literally combed my hair forward on both sides and just cut straight across!!!!! Are you f$&kin kidding me!!!!! Holding back tears, and so so upset, she then tries to say to me " oh well yeah the brassiness you see is normal but people get really mad about it". Noooo really? Which tells me I am not her first victim. She did nothing but rushed the service, took ZERO time and effort at what she was doing, tried to sugarcoat her mistake and carelessness, and THEN the icing on the cake. When I went to pay the $385 mess she made which was the price she quoted at the consultation she then tried to charge me an additional $90 saying she never discussed the haircut ( again the straight across 3 minute chop) at the consult. BS!!!!!!! And even if she hadnt how in the WORLD could she justify a 3 minute chop a $75 haircut!!! Get real Jade! This woman is living WAY to much on her high horse and doesnt seem to care at ALL about her work, just money. I left there so mad and upset I immediately addressed the owner and manager and the ONLY saving grace to this was they did actually refund me and agreed Jade would be addressed for her horrible service and what she did, that is the only good thing I will say about this salon is the owner took responsibility for his stylist ( and i use the term stylist very loosely Jade's horrible work) . So if youbare going to come here stay FAR away from Jade, she is very unprofessional in more ways than one.

When the washing and massage time was up, our hair was wrapped up and we were brought over to the drying area. We were given another massage that involved our neck, upper back and shoulders.
