Awesome service! Everyone was so kind and welcoming. Every client I saw leaving the salon had beautiful hair, which really speaks to the talent of the stylists. The salon itself is gorgeous, clean, and has such a great atmosphere. I'll definitely be bringing my daughter back! I wish I could get my own hair done here too, but my hair is so thick it would probably cost me an arm and a leg... maybe both arms and both legs! That's the only reason I didn't even ask for a quote. Highly recommend this salon! read more

Cesar and his team are so wonderful! They fit me in last minute on the same day, and between their other customers--so I was able to experience their work on a number of clients and it was impressive to watch how well they acclimate to a variety of different hair styles! They took great care in bringing my pandemic nest back to life... getting opinions from one another and ensuring I walked out on cloud-nine! Jessica is my stylist and she always makes sure to be very thorough in getting the style/color I want, and if it won't work they talk out what would look good. Not only haha my hair always come our awesome, but thanks to Jessica, Noel, and Cesar teaching me proper hair care, my hair has actually grown in thicker and healthier. I found this salon on Yelp through their amazing reviews. I was still a little apprehensive about seeing a new hair stylist. I wasn't able to get into my regular hairdresser until a week out. I desperately needed to get my hair done for my birthday on the 25th. I called on the morning of the 24th and was able to get in 3 hours later!!! Messaged them early in the morning on Yelp to see if they could squeeze me in for that morning and Cesar answered me super quick and was able to make it happen. Chloe is the one that did my hair and she was so nice and did my hair exactly how I wanted it with no damage! Which says a lot because my hair always has to be cut afterwards because of the bleaching however my hair is still super smooth. The salon atmosphere was very laid back and friendly. What's the purpose of setting an appointment if they won't respect my schedule? First time here and never got to get my haircut because my "stylist" was with somebody else doing a hair style and supposedly she will be with me soon since my appointment was at 12:30, I'm no hairstylist but to me didn't seem she will be done soon, a least 15 -20 more minutes so I decided to walkout and leave and she calls me 20 minutes later asking if I'm going to have my haircut because she has to leave at 1pm, meaning she was barely done and supposedly wasn't even her customer (so why take her if I already had an appointment one week in advance) this is ridiculous. I was very excited to have them cut my hair because they seem ethically professional with their schedule system but they weren't. Here goes another salon hunt, I may have better luck somewhere else. read more

Hair Experts Plus is our new name. We, Cesar Ramirez and Noel Isaac Mendoza had been in the industry for over 16 years. We're excited to continue to provide the best knowledge and sculpting of hair. Cesar went to Academy of Beauty, in the city of Bell-gardens California. Noel went to Academy of Cosmetology of Los Angeles California.

Meet the Business Owner: Cesar, Noel R.

I Cesar Ramirez, started doing hair back in 1997. I worked at a hair salon in the city of Downey California for ten years. I was one of the hairstylist for Clippers & Lakers cheerleaders. Also part of the Spanish top show, De Todo un Poco with Spanish famous actor Omar Fierro. I was in charge of the beauty segment. My partner Noel Mendoza who is fourth generation hairstylist in his family., was in charge with me for the hair styling image for a modeling and acting academy of Los Angeles Patricia Sturla studio. Noel Mendoza was also part of a hair, makeup and nails show., call Battle of the strands Global Beauty Masters Show ( top stylist contest of the word) here in Las Vegas. The dye left visible staining along my hairline, temples/sideburn area, and behind my ears, which I wasn't informed about until after everything was done and I saw it in the mirror. The stylist did try to remove it, but it didn't come off easily, so I left with noticeable staining on my skin. I understand that things can happen, especially with different products, but I do wish there had been more communication in the moment and a more thorough final check/cleanup before I left the salon, especially since the staining was visible in multiple areas. Unfortunately, I'm not very comfortable waiting for it to fade on its own, and I'm also not inclined to return for a future service. Overall, I think this place has a lot going for it, but I hope they can improve the finishing process and post-service support so clients don't leave with unexpected issues. I understand that staining can sometimes happen, but my concern was more around the visibility in multiple areas and that it wasn't fully addressed before I left. I sat on the thought of even writing a review for a week so here is my experience with Yosuke. I found Ark LV from Yelp going through all the photos and reviews and have always had positive experiences with Japanese hair stylists as I have asian hair and grew up going to many stylists who used Japanese hair methods to treat and care for hair. Given the hair stylist I love and trust is back home in NYC and I had many grays starts to growing out from my original beautifully blended bayalage, I wanted to give trust to Yosuke and chance as I thought going from bayalage to a single color would be an easy job. I started the appointment by showing him the color and cut I wanted mocked up from an image I created using AI and asked if he could do it and he responded, "Well yes, that's my job." With the confidence and the reviews and photos I've gone through, I moved on with the appointment and proceeded to have fun conversations with Yosuke throughout; I even started the appointment recording a hair transition video with him as I was super excited for a new mocha brown color from my original blonde bayalage. By the end of the appointment, after the reveal and cut, the color was a bit darker than I expected which I don't blame him for but I started to see some demarcation and waited until he was done with my layers to evaluate the final product. The haircut took no more than 15 minutes and he gave me more layers than I showed in the picture and didn't thin out the face framing layers I've experienced going to many amazing hair stylists throughout my life. He asked if I liked it and asked how I will complete my hair transition video. Here's the part that really bothered me... I had to ask if he had a mirror I can use to see the back of my head. All stylists I've experienced will always show me the final product from front, side and back to ensure I'm happy with the final product and I can instantly tell why once he handed me the mirror. Please review the photos I've shared to see the demarcation he's created. I didn't wash my hair for a week because I'm scared to see how the color will wash out but from one of the photos I've shown below, the color inconsistencies and demarcation only became more apparent. He apologized, offered to fix it and even only charged me for haircut only which is why I will give him 2 stars but if you don't have experience coloring grown out bayalage, don't take the job. I consulted with my trusted stylist back home and I couldn't get myself to go back for him to fix my hair because I prefer not to be his experiment and run the risk of my hair getting more damaged from bleach and having an even worse outcome.

My "senior stylist," Evelyn, wasn't available until 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. During that wait, I was offered water once, but I repeatedly had to ask how much longer it would be because the staff kept saying "soon" without giving me any actual estimate. When the appointment finally started, I showed Evelyn a reference photo and clearly explained my daily hair routine. I told her I don't use styling products, don't heat style my hair, and simply wash it and let it air dry. Instead of cutting my hair to suit that lifestyle, she used texturizing products and spent a significant amount of time styling it. I even mentioned that I would never recreate that styling at home because it isn't part of my routine. The finished haircut looked nothing like the reference photo. At the time, the heavy styling disguised just how bad the cut actually was. The salon gave me a $20 new-client discount, and I specifically told them to apply that amount toward the stylist's tip. Instead, they processed a separate $21.18 tip. While it's not the biggest issue in this experience, it was not what I authorized. The real disaster became apparent after I washed my hair at home. The styling products had been hiding an incredibly poor haircut. The layers are uneven and completely unblended. There are obvious chunks of hair missing, and the entire cut sits lopsided. It is nothing like what I requested or what I was shown in the mirror after it had been heavily styled. I'm now left with a haircut that is genuinely embarrassing to wear and will likely require another stylist to spend months correcting. Between the excessive wait, poor communication, unauthorized tip charge, and one of the worst haircuts I've ever received, this was an incredibly disappointing experience. I absolutely cannot recommend this salon.

I stumbled across Hair Expert Plus when my previous hair stylist recommended a shampoo for my highlights which I was having a hard time locating and this salon carried it along with many other great products. Even though I arrived at the salon when they were closing, Cesar & Noel still welcomed me in. After just talking to Cesar & Noel for a few minutes, I immediately knew they were very knowledgeable and passionate about hair & products. I explained to them that I was wanting balayage highlights & that my hair stylists at the time had told me it would take several services to achieve what I wanted since my hair was black. I was discouraged because to me that just meant more time in a chair, possibly more damage to my hair, & very expensive. Cesar & Noel told me Hair Expert Plus could achieve what I wanted in one appointment so I told them I would might be back in the future but within a day I had booked an appointment at their salon because I was confident I would be in good hands. Cesar & Tonya were AMAZING & didn't disappoint!! I usually read yelp reviews but never post but this place is very deserving of a post. The stylists are nothing shy of incredible! The depth to which Ceasar sees translates to a vision he CAN create. Key word can... Most artists search endlessly for what he was born with, an ability to transform vision to reality in an effortless display of color and contrast. Ceasar is brilliant and by far (besides my hair stylists in Italy) the best hair stylist I have ever been too. People went from making fun of my lackluster one dimensional hair to calling it beautiful and seeing all the potential unearthed. I can't thank the stylists at Hair Experts Plus enough for their kindness and hospitality. The two men Ceasar and Noel are hilarious and talented beyond belief. If you are contemplating going to any salon to impress yourself and boost your self confidence I would go here not only becuase of their words of encourgement but also becuase they will truly bring out the best in you becuase they understand facial types and tones and customer service. Well I am a natural ginger. I'm about 60 now and my red is not so red. I wanted to try and reclaim some of that youthful color. I went to one stylist in Vegas and, after 5 hours, ended up with some serious color misjudgements in big chunks that I couldn't deal with. Fourth of July weekend was coming up and I didn't want to visit my friends looking like that. I went to Hair Experts Plus to see what they could do to help bring me back to anything more natural. With the expertise of Jessica and Cesar both working on my issues, I left there after three and a half hours totally elated! I now have a beautiful head of hair that looks more natural and wasn't damaged in the process. My hair looks more youthful, and I'm proud to walk in public again. I have to say that I am very picky when it comes to my hair. Everywhere I had gone before, I would leave there feeling disappointed. I have been going to Cesar and Noel for 4 years now and I have NEVER left there disappointed! They are such a treasure to have in my life. Not only do they give me an AMAZING cut each time but they give some amazing highlights as well. I trust them so much that they did my hair for my wedding 2 years ago! Noel also does an INCREDIBLE job with makeup and eyelashes as well. Now both my sisters go see them along with my two girls and my nieces. My aunt even makes it a priority to see them when she comes to visit from Kansas. They are not only good with hair but they are two amazing people! I Yelped Hair Experts Plus before I came in, like many of you. I have to say, I was not disappointed AT ALL! Cesar was so nice on the phone from the beginning, and made me feel so comfortable the whole time I was there! I am HUGE on customer service and everyone in that salon way exceeded my expectations. I showed him a picture of what I wanted, and he made sure to ask for it again before he started cutting as to find out EXACTLY what I was expecting. When he was finished it looked EXACTLY how I was expecting, and he even told me "You are not leaving my chair until I am 109% done." and I appreciated how thorough and knowledgeable he was when it came to my particular type of hair, which is A LOT. I have been coming to Cesar and Noel for over a year now and I cannot put into to words how phenomenal they are! Their cuts are amazing but the work they do with color is nothing short of a miracle! I have colored my hair for many years on my own, and we all know too well how that goes sometimes. No matter what I have done, they have always been able to get me back to something much more amazing then what I could have done on my own! I enjoy getting to see them work on other clients and they amazing colors they come up with. Looking through their photos you can truly see that their work totally speaks for itself. Absolutely love love love this place! Last year I finally decided to do something with my hair other than cut it. I met with Cesar and expressed my concerns (and I had lots). Mainly, I was afraid of messing up my healthy hair and going too 'drastic' and I really wasn't sure what I wanted done (again, lots of concerns). He listened and came up with a game plan. I'm so so happy I took his suggestions. I absolutely loved the results! I've been back a few times now. The second time I met with Tonya, she was great as well. The haircut I received from Cesar at Hair Experts Plus was by far the best I've ever had! I have very thick, curly hair and finding someone that knows how to cut it properly is extremely hard. Due to this, I had not had my hair cut for about a decade. Cesar knew exactly what to do to make sure my hair turned out perfect. The cut looks good when my hair is dry and when it is curly. Cesar and Noel provide a fun and welcoming environment, and they truly take the time to make sure your hair is beautiful and your experience is a happy one. On top of that, they provide cold beverages and coffee in a newly renovated, beautiful space. O. M. G!! My first time going here. Found them through Yelp and boy am I glad! It's tucked away but don't let that fool you. This is a A++ salon and they know how to treat customers like family. It's a quaint little shop decorated in a way that lives up to the quality of the services they provide. I went in to my appointment very unsure and a little intimidated but I walked out feeling like a million bucks!!! I received an immediate response to schedule an appointment, was able to get an appointment the same day (lucky, I know) and was welcomed and treated like royalty. First of all, I NEVER write positive reviews because my tastes often change. These guys, however, will NEVER fall off the awesomeness radar! When I first met them, I'd been dying my hair black with drugstore products. Naturally, when I wanted to lighten it, I was turned away from numerous other "color experts" in Las Vegas. Caesar & Noel knocked it out in one visit! This was not a novice task. Aside from stumbling upon the two most amazing color artists in this city, I found two great friends. They're such a blast to visit with. I bring all of my visiting family members in to meet them & experience their magic. Wow wow wow !!! Where should I start ?? Jejeje ok ! I love this place and I have been a faithful client for a while now ! Noel and Cesar are talented and knowledgeable hair 'xperts. They truly take the time to give you the perfect cut and walk you through the process by giving you ideas or suggestions that are both sophisticated and chic. Been here twice now and been excellent! Cesar has cut my hair both times and been a great experience. I am NOT a fan of getting my haircut but been a great awesome. The people have been awesome. We just kind of joke around the entire time and flies by. He has styled my hair both times and looked incredible both times. I didn't even show him a picture and he got pretty much what I want. Even after my first time coming in he remembers what we did last time and stuff about me personally we had talked about the first time. It's also been really easy to make appointments. He has got me in the same day both times which makes things very easy. I would recommend to anyone! read more

FANTASTIC experience. I went in with some pretty damaged blonde looking for a healthy solution to my damage and to my plethora of early white hair. Dean was AMAZING and gave me the perfect solution, leaving me feeling FABULOUS all the time. The touch-up I had a month later was considerably less in price which was nice on the wallet. Everyone I've encountered in the salon has been friendly and seems incredibly knowledgeable. Also, the vibe in there is awesome - the stylists are fun and full of personality, as is the salon, creating the kind of environment you just WANT to spend time. I came from Chicago to Las Vegas to take care of my mama-in-law and figured; hey, I'll try this salon. It was right next to my mama's condo and it had been years since anyone but me has done my hair. Cesar was fun, charming and I entrusted his vision. He took me to the ultimate blonde and I looked amazing! About 6 weeks later, I bought our home here in Vegas, brought my sister from Chicago to help me and made a double appointment with Cesar and Noel to "beautify us". today my daughter and I went to get our hair done at Hair experts plus. (Mother and daughter day) We both got highlights, I also had a root touch up and my daughter also got a really adorable cut. Our experience there was amazing. It's a great atmosphere and great people. I had Dean and my daughter had Jessica. They were both so nice and attentive to us making sure we were comfortable and offering water, coffee etc. and they did an amazing job with what we wanted done with our hair. These guys are the best! Cesar and Noel are excellent hairstylists and colorists. I really like if one is busy I can count on the other to give me great service; they work as a team and that is rare in Las Vegas. They have been working with my hair for over 2 years now and I am always very satisfied when I leave the salon and my hair looks great for 3 days after my cut without doing anything to it -- amazing! Hair Xperts is a great place to go to get your hair done. Caesar and Noel are great they are very diverse with their hair styling. It is such a great welcoming environment when I go to their shop. I'm a mixed boy with very thick hair and Caesar works with me and he does a spectacular job every time! I get my eyebrows done by Noel as well as my hair cut by Cesar and it is so great very smooth defined lines. Hair Xperts is a great place to get your hair styled, colored, and cut... In the past, I have seen many of my lady friends visit this particular salon for solid blond coloring and keep coming back. Then, I said to myself, might as well give it a try out for their skill for men haircuts. After my first experience, this became my total go-to spot; and I can see why they continue coming back! Cesar highly recommended me to Isela to meet my beard/facial hair care needs and, not only I left the salon feeling happy but feeling handsome and fresh line-ups and clean overall fade. I am absolutely disgusted with this place! First it is so horribly ran and my hair is a disaster. I had to go to another hair salon and pay out of pocket at least $400 to get what was ruined fixed and even looking back to normal at the least! The worker and I think owner is so rude and just very cocky. I saw the red flags when I got there from just his attitude and back and forth on his phone not really paying attention to my hair but I gave him the benefit of the doubt and I will never go back and I don't recommend this awful place. Just wow. Never again this place needs to be shut down. read more

I asked her to cut off 2 inches for me. Sounds simple, right? Well, I'm not sure if there is a professional term for it, but I really liked the way she cut my hair. I have wavy hair that can look very puffy at times, but she cut it in a way that made my hair feel much lighter and sleek looking! I Love it!! Andrew the receptionist was very nice as well. He offered me water as soon as I checked in. Shelby's station is right behind the receptionist desk. My only complaint is that some of the other hairstylists would stand around the area, talking about personal stuff. Some customers may not mind, but others may think that it's rude, if you know what I mean. I'm not sure if I'll return, but I definitely recommend Shelby!
