The absolute worse staff I've ever encountered. Not respectful towards a person that is disabled. Staring her down. Kicking out the service dog being an absolute horrible person. When I covered my mom because of how they were starring my mom who is disabled the lady even pushed me away saying I had to leave. Would NEVER GO BACK! I never really leave reviews because 1 ain't got time for that and 2 I only will if I'm really impressed orrrr if I'm super disappointed. So it's been 9 years since I colored my hair and I've always had it long for most of my life. When I use to color or cut my hair I was always unsatisfied with it so I just stopped going to the salon. Well I decided that I break out of that fear and I really needed a change so I decided to go to HAIR because I heard great things about this salon. I got my hair done by Emily Lennert and I am beyondddd satisfied with my cut, color, and style! This girl is a perfectionist and will make sure that you look good when you walk out that salon. NAILS: Irina I've been on the hunt for a nail salon in Malibu for the past year, very disappointing... cut to Irina. I was looking for someone to do a good job. What I got was SO MUCH MORE that I expected. My nails have never looked so good leaving a salon. I always thought when I saw pictures of people's nails with perfect cuticles etc. that they just had good nails to start with. Nope. Irina is a nail genius, the techniques she used during our session were something I've never seen before. So much attention to detail. I got a gel manicure btw. Irina is a true artist, now that I've experienced her work, I'm not sure I'll ever be satisfied going to anyone else. She's amazing!! And a delight read more

I got married in Malibu on September 7, 2019 and booked my bridesbabes' and my mother's hair appointments at the salon. Emily the manager made booking very easy. I had 6 appointments and 2 of the girls were running 30-45 minutes behind. They were super accommodating about the mishaps. No attitude given at all! My bridesbabes' beachy waves looked amazing while my mom's updo was very elegant. They obviously can do a range of hair styles for all ages. I highly recommend having your bridal party's hair styled here since the salon can accommodate 3-4 girls at a time and it is less expensive then paying for a hair team to come to our house/venue. This salon has absolutely zero respect for its clients. I witnessed HARASSMENT of a disabled person there today by the staff on duty and immediately left without even starting my service. They spoke to customers in an extremely insulting manner and one employee even physically pushed a girl away from her mother so they could continue to harass her disabled mother. this salon should be SHUT DOWN for the way they acted today. i can't stress this enough, do not waste your money here. read more

I've been going to HAIR since it opened. I love the salon for numerous reasons and trust me, I'm overly picky about my hair. Harley (the owner) has just the perfect girls to create a local, fun vibe who are all overly qualified to keep up with and create current styles! I just needed a hair cut, and I walked-in to this place near my work. I lucked out because I got a Phenomenal Hair Stylist! (Harley I think?) I walked out of here with probably the best hair cut of my life. A few days later, I noticed it looked even better! Highly recommend! Has the greatest ability to build rapport, connect, made me feel both pretty and sexy(without being ooey- didn't cross any boundaries) and gave me a perfect hairstyle and color that complemented my features! I've been all over the spectrum of trying to find a good colorist to make dark hair look naturally blonde with a natural blend to my hair color, and Charlene was everything! The best colorist, she paid so much attention to the details of my hair and listened to everything I wanted! On top of that she is the kindest soul and makes you feel right at home. I've been going to the same place to get my hair done since I was born, but ended up booking an appointment here short notice one time to fix an at-home box dye monstrosity. Charlene is magical!! She did such an amazing job, listened to all my requests, and went above and beyond fixing my hair. I came back a month later to get a cut, (also something I had never done anywhere else before) and once again, she exceeded anything I thought my hair was capable of. I'm writing this review for Jessy Levine. So first off, I travel all the way from Hollywood to Malibu for cut and color with Jessy. She used to work at a super trendy salon in Silver Lake and then she moved to Hawaii! Seriously, glad that she is back in LA. I loved the person that took over for Jessy but I missed my Jessy. So, Jessy cuts and colors my hair. She does my roots and then she suggested that we try the balayaging on my hair, and I have to say it's made a huge difference, my hair isn't so boring any more. I get a tone of compliments on it all the time. I like keeping a longer length and I like that she listens and never cuts off what I believe to be as too much. Her blow outs are phenomenal and last a long time. I highly recommend Jessy. I also like that I can go to this super cute gourmet market that reminds me of a NYC style gourmet Market and pic up something for lunch. read more
