I am of an age group where I am at higher risk for Covid related illness and additionally I am immune compromised. I have wanted appointments where I could wear a mask during my services but this request was treated in an aggressively unpleasant way by the salon owner's own daughter. This individual has given the impression she is against vaccination as well as allowing others the choice to mask for their own safety. Her attitude made my appointment very uncomfortable. There are zero Covid safety protocols in place in this salon and almost no one masks even during the recent outbreaks. This may not impact other folks in the slightest but if you are immune compromised and trying to find a salon that acknowledges/accommodates and takes Covid precautions- avoid, avoid, avoid. I don't mind what people's personal beliefs are but when they influence my experience at a business and potentially impact my health? The risk -in my opinion- isn't worth it. I'd rather give my money to people who are at least open to the idea of allowing people to take precautions against infectious disease if the CDC advises their risk group to do so. Two stars because I really loved and appreciated the times I had my hair done at this salon before Covid- before things got so crazy and, at this establishment, just downright angry.

There are so many things that I love about the salon and the people that work there. First and foremost, I love my hair! One of the owners , Tracy, does my hair and she just gets me. I am one of those people who goes in with some hairdo on a celebrity and say that is what I want. Tracy always takes the time to discuss what I actually like about the hair color or style, we discuss if it is an option for me and I always walk out of there with gorgeous hair. I had always had horrible blond envy, but never found a stylist that got me to a blond I was comfortable with. No longer, I have gorgeous blond hair, perfect length for my face and it is healthy. I need to mention the overall atmosphere of Agape. It is obvious they our customer service focused. Soooo...I made an appointment at Mes Ami, which is near the gym I'm a member of. BIG mistake. I would have been better off going to Fantastic Sams! Seriously, it was the absolute worst hair cut of my life. I am still in tears. It will take months for this mess to grow out enough to have it fixed. The stylist went completely nuts with the texturizing shears, thinning my normally thick hair out way too much. Some pieces are super short and others are kind of long and scraggly looking. It's soooo bad. The closest comparison I can make is to say that it resembles a Carol Brady mullet. My family and coworkers all gasped in shock when they saw me. I normally have very nice hair. I will never cheat on my wonderful stylist again.
