I went into this nail salon to have my nails trimmed and buffed. They charged me the same that they charge a full manicure. This seems a little excessive, considering that he only spent about eight minutes on my hands, didn't used nail polish, offered a 30 second hand massage and didn't even buff the nails correctly to make them shine. I was so stunned that they charged me so much that I couldn't even say anything at the time. Just wont go back or recommend. read more

I moved to the Hendersonville area about a year ago and I have been to a few salons and have experienced different levels of service. I could not find a salon that kept my appointment time ever, many were pricey or made you feel like you were an interruption. When I booked my appointment at Top Nails, they told me to come 30 minutes early to soak my nails - that has never happened to me at any of the salons I have visited here. I was impressed with the level of professionalism, the service was top notch, they made me feel as though they wanted me to be there and to come back, vibe was great and my nails look spectacular!! read more

Have gone here for years! The last two it was obvious that the techs were being mistreated. Not allowed lunch breaks at all. I tried to give it another shot employees are angry, nail polish is so old. I got my pedi at 10;00 it was still gooey at 8:40 pm. I feel sooo bad for the employees there. read more

My friends and I went to this place paid 60 Dollars , didn't know what the heck were they doing and didn't ask what you wanted. First of all they cut them too short and did not allow us to get dip instead of acrylic . They said our nails were too short. My friend said she got home and her nails were really sore from them filing to close to the Skin and her nails were very crooked. I would not recommend this place pls don't not go here. I went here religiously for 2 years. The staff became more and more rude each time I went. They did not act happy to see anyone who walked in. Stacy was nice at first but then became snarky and unappreciative of the repeat business. Also it became dirtier and dirtier in there. Okay. It is not the quality of the work. Not really the cleanliness of the salon(although it is getting less and less clean), not price. I have been going for a couple of years now. At first the service was excellent. But over the last 4 or 5 visits they have been doing less communication with me and doing more crosstalk in Laotian. For some at the spa it is their native language but 2 have techs that English as their first language and choose exclude us. Every tech at the spa has excellent communication skills when engauged. My final visit the owner did my pedicure. Her husband came over and started pointing in my direction and both enjoyed a good laugh over what I do not know. This to me is just so rude and I will seek someone that at least respects me enough to let me in on the joke. read more

I've been coming here for about a month and a half or so. Good atmosphere, clean. Nail techs friendly. They have a new nail tech by the name of Tuan. He removed my old set in a matter of 15-20min. No pain, I didn't flench from him being too rough. (Other salons I've gone to don't soak and insist on just pulling ur acrylics off with clippers, and then think your being dramatic when u say ouch). I showed him the style I was wanting, but wasn't sure about color. I let him kinda do his own style/design and they came out amazing!! He got the shape perfect, exactly how I like them! WARNING: I had a pedicure done by Stacy. I did not realize until I got home that she cut my toenails improperly and in a way that could cause ingrown toenails and damage to the nailbed. I told her I wanted my toenails cut "fairly" short. She cut them all the way down to the nailbed leaving no white area at the end of the nail. She also rounded the nails and cut on both corners down as far as she could which can cause ingrown toenails. They should be cut straight across. I am very upset about this and concerned about any problems or damage this may have caused. I can feel the tenderness around my toenails. I can't undo this and will not return! read more

I left there with my toe bleeding & my nails where cut so short I will be surprised if I don't get an in grown toe nail from it. Here from out of town and went in for the dip.Jasmine did a great job if I lived here she will definitely be my tech. Only a few things I didn't like was they said the charge to take the old dip off why? That should be included. Didn't like the fact that they speak their foreign language 99% of the time. Went here for a pedicure in August and nail tech did an excellent job. Can't remember her name but think it started with an M. My suggestion for this nail salon is to clean it! There was a liner in the pedicure bowl so that was a good thing. But the hand remote for the massage chair was filthy and so were all the others as i looked around at the other chairs. I had to wonder what else wasn't clean. The salon was messy and simply needed attention to detail. There is a lot of polish to pick from, but please put in new nail polish racks that is one bottle deep not two. It is hard to see the selections of polish with bottles hiding behind one another so it takes twice as long to see the colors and pick one. I enjoyed the vibe of the salon. Will give it one more try but unless it gets cleaned up, I won't be back. read more

What a hidden gem! In the area from out of town and decided to visit after reading the reviews. Cleanliness and friendliness are important to us and they exceeded out expectations. 4 of us walked in together early morning and were whisked to the pedicure chairs to soak right away. They also began immediately on our 1 getting a manicure. The pedicure chairs are amazing and they use a disposable liner. Their tools are all cleaned for each customer which is also a must. They had endless choices for polish, gel and regular. Their deluxe pedicure is the best we have ever had. They were busy and we did not feel rushed. I have been patronizing Top Nails for a few years. Today, I walked in headed for the wall of nail color when one of the nail clinicians, a guy, hands me a roller deck of nail color and tells me I can pick one of them. So I did. The girl who did the pedicure was wonderful. Great job. Then, I went to pay. I expected the regular price of $26. Instead, she tells me $40. When I asked why, she said it was for the gel polish. If the guy had told me that the selections on the roller deck were $40, I would have declined and proceeded to the wall. Bottom line. Very bad business practices. Thievery. I will never go back there and will never recommend this place. Please don't you go either. The cleanliness of the place also needs an upgrade. This is awful that these people think they can rob the public. read more
