I can't say enough about a Agape salon I moved to Hendersonville last October with Health problems and hair loss When I contacted agape salon and told them that I was looking for a new colorist and that I had issues they put me in touch with Tracy, the owner she had a personal phone call with me to go over what I was dealing with it turned out she specialized in thinning hair she was able to get my formula from my stylist in Florida And from day one has done an amazing job everyone is so sweet and so kind transitioning from a hairstylist that you've been with for years Can be difficult but this was easy I didn't Have any stress at all because Tracy and her staff made me feel so comfortable and we're so helpful in my transition to I a new salon I can highly recommend them read more

I have been a long time customer of Agape Salon. Gorgeous salon conveniently located in downtown Hendersonville, NC . There are so many things that I love about the salon and the people that work there. First and foremost, I love my hair! One of the owners , Tracy, does my hair and she just gets me. I am one of those people who goes in with some hairdo on a celebrity and say that is what I want. Tracy always takes the time to discuss what I actually like about the hair color or style, we discuss if it is an option for me and I always walk out of there with gorgeous hair. I had always had horrible blond envy, but never found a stylist that got me to a blond I was comfortable with. No longer, I have gorgeous blond hair, perfect length for my face and it is healthy. I need to mention the overall atmosphere of Agape. It is obvious they our customer service focused. I am always warmly greeted, nice waiting area with drinks, everyone is friendly to everyone, I never feel rushed, it is bright and welcoming, overall a great experience. I have even convinced my husband to go there and he said Tracy does the best hair cut he has ever had. Try it, you will become a loyal customer just like me. :) read more

We moved here in 2019, I had tried two previous salons and did not like the results. I kept looking and came across Agape Salon. I made my first appointment and when it was completed I knew I had found my new salon! Tracy, the owner does my hair and I couldn't be happier! I moved to the Hendersonville area in 2019. I was referred to Tracy Gossett at Agape Salon. From the first time I went to her in 2019 until this week, I have ALWAYS been so pleased and happy with my hair!!!! Tracy is an excellent stylist and the best color expert I've ever been to. She listens and cares about the health of your hair as well as your cut and color. She's smart, kind and a wonderful person! Everyone in the salon is wonderful! No one gets upset if you need to change an appointment. They are always willing to help you reschedule! This salon only interested in getting the job done their way -- certainly does not listen to concerns of customers. Salon owner very hostile when concerns is raised and accused customer of have tone problems. What is that all about. Stay away do yourself there are plenty of good salons in Hendersonville this does not happen to be one of them. read more

I was looking for a salon that uses cruelty free product before going . I called ahead and spoke to the receptionist and asked if their products were cruelty free, especially their bleach. She put me on hold to ask, she came back and said yes and I went ahead and made an appointment. Today was my appointment and everyone was so lovely and the salon was nice. Katie was my stylist and before we got started I told her I only use cruelty free products, explained to her about my call ahead and she said their products are cruelty free , ok great. WELL while she was putting the bleach in my hair I thought it smelt so good and asked by the way whats the brand you use?! She said Goldwell... I had heard the name but wasn't familiar with it. I got home and searched and it's NOT cruelty free. Not only was I lied to but they comprised my integrity . read more

Run away fast. Do not walk. Worst shampoo of my life (only the top 1/2 of my hair ever got wet), one of the worst cuts of my life. When the 3 minute haircut was over (literally 8 snips with no sectioning, etc.) she said she did not like to style hair so not to expect too much. I might as well have set fire to that $50.00. I have another appointment with someone else to try to straighten out this mess. read more
