Maria was warm, attentive, and followed my exact words! She told me she needs me to have all the hair for the wedding and she delivered. The worst haircut I received in my entire life. I came here with a Groupon on 9/1/19 for a cut and…read morehair treatment. I got Aldira (sp?) and she started with my hair treatment first, which was just ok. The shampoo left a lot to be desired. The products used didn't work well with my scalp either (made it extra dry). While I sat under the heat lamp for the treatment to soak in she started cutting another customer's hair. It was Labor Day weekend and busy so I let it slide. Then in the middle of the other woman's haircut she switched to me. I assume she was friends with the other woman for the other lady to be ok with it (they were also chatting in another language). I asked for an A-line lob haircut and had a picture reference. I started off with very long hair, past my chest- you can see my other reviews to see the length. After I finished I left a nice tip (23% of their normal haircut prices for long hair), since from what I could see the haircut was decent. My haircut did feel rushed though. When I got home and had my husband take a picture of the back of my head I saw the back was very uneven and choppy. The front had no gradual taper like an A-line haircut should have (see photos of first haircut). I considered evening it out myself but my friends all suggested I go back and have them fix it. So I scheduled another time to get it fixed a few days later. When I went back Aldira was apologetic and said she would fix it. She seemed like she knew she messed up. I showed her pictures of my hair with markups and explained how she just needs to even it out a bit to fix it. Once she started cutting, it felt like she was chopping off a lot more than necessary and it seemed like I was getting a whole new haircut. When I was done I was questioning the cut but everyone in the salon said it looked good and better than before. She also didn't blow dry my hair so I couldn't tell how bad it really was since it was still damp and I couldn't see the back too well. Once I got home and my hair dried a bit I took pics and was horrified. It looked like a backwards mullet (top layer was much shorter than bottom layers) and like a child cut it by using blunt scissors on a pony tail. I considered just tying it up and letting it grow out so I can cut it again later. But I was so disturbed and distracted throughout the day that I had to go all the way to Brooklyn to pay someone else and get my hair fixed. THIS WAS MY THIRD HAIRCUT IN 1 WEEK AND SECOND HAIRCUT IN 1 DAY. I wasn't sure I should write this review because Aldira was friendly and apologetic. The salon didn't charge me the second time to get it "fixed" but this simply is not acceptable. Not to mention I will never get those 3+ hours of my life back between the time of the haircuts, the travel back and forth to the salon and travel to Brooklyn. The Groupon seemed like a great deal, but my time and hair was worth much more. Please see my pictures to judge for yourself. I have not spoken to the salon since the last incident as I am not the type to make a big scene in public and I can't think of anything they can do to make it remotely right. The stylist was very polite and made me feel very comfortable. I have very long hair yet it only took her about 45 minutes to do the cut and the conditioning treatment took about 1 hour. I leave with a perfect blowout with just the right amount of volume and curl at the bottom. It looks natural and lasts 5-7 days. My husband gets his hair cut with Fuat who's also great and super friendly too. We recently moved back to the Brighton Beach neighborhood and I tried out several salons in the area. These guys are by far the best! They are very accommodating even without an appointment and their prices are straightforward and reasonable. All the stylists here know what they're doing and the place is clean and modern.

His haircut was not even either. my daughter has virgin hair - no color - we did proaddiction 2x before at a different salon and we're always pleased. I was shocked by his results as I never saw in my life such unprofessional work. I showed him pictures of her hair one week later and he replied he did the best that he can and that I should go somewhere else if I am not happy. I asked him to fix it and redo it and he refused - mocked me and laughed and said no. He is extremely dismissive and argumentative. He crossed the line and was really unprofessional. He recently moved from a different salon to this salon because he was argumentative there too and the owner kicked him out. I now have to find someone to fix the mess he created on my daughter's hair because he refused to take care of it. Terrible service. I wouldn't go to him for free! Avoid at all costs.
