I have always paid immediately and in full AFTER I was treated. I have never been asked to pay in advance in a doctor's office. I find this "policy" insulting and offensive. Both times waited 45 min in a room with no one updating me. They called me back in to do a second/larger biopsy area (or so I thought) I took the afternoon off work just to have the NP come in and talk to me for 2 minutes and go "we need to have you come back to do a larger biopsy", but that's what I thought I was there for?! Matthew Doepking and Bianca are the best! When I moved back to CA, I spent my time looking around to find the best place to go for dermatology needs, and after a year, I found Matt. He's super-knowledgeable, has an amazing attention to detail, and things never feel rushed. I had a ton of cherry angiomas I couldn't stand and didn't realize how easy it was (in good hands) to get rid of them! He's also done shave biopsies for me, and the process is super-easy and not scary. Bianca is super on top of things and you can tell she really listens. The staff and the quality of work is why I drive 40 minutes to this office. (And although this isn't a deal-breaker for me when it comes to medical services, I gotta say they have the most Instagrammable restroom I've ever seen in a doctor's office.) So worth it! read more

I go every 3 months for skin checks because I have a history of skin cancer and she is always so diligent of everything she checks for, which is extremely important in my case. Shaina is amazing. Office manager was crotchety and unwilling to consider patients perspective and need to sort through an issue. There was a scheduling misunderstanding that could have been easily resolved. After driving out early, I called the office and was met with unprofessional behavior from the staff -- laughing and repeating, "(person's name) doesn't come in on Fridays," as if I should have known. I had sent photos by text and called the same day I made the appointment, but no one followed up or confirmed it. They later admitted they received the images but never responded -- likely just an oversight, which I would have understood. What truly bothered me -- and the only reason I'm leaving this review -- is how I was treated when I tried to clear it up. The office manager was defensive, talked over me, and refused to check the message dates or call logs. She repeated herself about six times with the already established phrase, "(person's name) doesn't come in on Fridays" -- is this some kind of joke? I asked her nicely to listen, but she insisted on her version of non-reality -- that the texts were sent five months ago, which simply wasn't true. After spending thousands here over the years, it's disappointing. The way I was treated made me feel like there would be problems moving forward, and I don't want to be in that kind of environment. read more

Extremely overrated practice. Extremely over priced, and loud overbearing doctor who seemed very fake. I went in a couple months ago for some Botox because I was interested in meeting Dr. Guanche. Huge regret, big waste of money. Recommended me more Botox than I usually get after I stated I normally get 40 units, nurse comes back in the room okay she recommends 52. Mind you I'm 29.. was it necessary for extra units. NO. Nothing personable about the experience. Seems as if she just gives the same amount of Botox to each patient hoping for the same result just to get money out of you for 15 dollars a unit. Drive yourself down to Plush med spa in Camarillo. They charge 12 dollars a unit -super friendly staff, and very personable. They do a wonderful job with fillers too. I got too cute trying this place, and I feel robbed of my money and they certainly put a bad taste in my mouth with the condescending vibes. To top it off, I waited 25 minutes in the waiting room and another 25 in the room waiting for this doctor to feel rushed and to feel insecure after leaving. She also recommended me a "Guanche facial" of 2500 dollars which is an obscene amount of filler to pull my face back. Hard laugh out loud. Do yourself a favor and save your money out of this scammy quack. read more

I'm super picky about my eyebrows and she knows exactly were to inject to get the desired look I'm going for. She's also a mastermind when it comes to lip injections.
