They said a blowout and the Botox treatment with extensions would be €100. Well, when I checked out, it was a different story. My bill was 180. She actually charged me €140 for the Botox treatment and blowout. Then actually charged me €20 for a spritz of hairspray and €20 for a dab of hair oil which they don't charge for in the US. I feel it was totally disingenuous and I am not pleased! I worn anyone to not go there unless you don't mind being taken advantage of.

Julia (hot & nice!) whisked me away for a rinse, nothing like a beautiful woman washing your hair for you - gotta get Carla to get in the shower w/ me more and pamper my hair! Fortunately Mimmo spoke english and I was able to relay that I work in an office during the day, but like to have a little funky time w/ my hair @ night - "no problem" he says, and gets to work. Mimmo was a very Kool Kat - razor on the sides finishing by hand, then w/ the same scissors ( no blocking shears) went to work on the top. He had a technique for creating a choppy/uneven top for standing things up w/ product. He held the hair as normal between the fingers, but instead of cutting straight across, he "whipped" the scissors at the hair and cut at the same time, only chopping a sliver at a time, leaving some long, some short - this really helps to get the hair to that contrived messy look, which many times eludes me. Back to Julia for a 2nd rinse (no complaint here, see rinse comment above!), a quick dry and light putty product to get me as italian stylish as this American could get! Great men's haircut and service, when in Florence/Firenze and need of some style, hit up Contesta Rock Hair and ask for Mimmo... tell him the guy from California sent you, it might just make him smile...

She recommended Simonetta, I believe the stylist was Lucia. A woman with long carmel colored hair (to ensure you have the correct stylist if you go). She was middle aged. Nevertheless, wow she blew out my hair and didn't burn it. Which is what most stylists do, this is because they take too much hair into the brush then put the blow dryer right on the hair, this burns your hair. She took thin strands kept the blow dryer about 10 to 12 inches away from my long hair and took her time. It took her about an hour, it was the best blow out I have ever had (no burnt hair) the product was top of the line. I only wish I let her cut it. I will return this year for a cut, because anyone who takes the time to blow out hair like that MUST be a great stylist. You could feel her talent in the way she used the tools. HIGHLY recommend this salon, very professional group of stylists near the 4 seasons Hotel! A blow out in any major city in the U.S. is 45 - 50 dollars. Not in Italy you can get a beautiful blow out for 25 to 35 Euros.
