I bleached my hair at home and it turned out very patchy so I needed someone more professional to help me trim my hair and fix the dark parts. I called and made a reservation because I had been here previously with my mom and had a positive experience with my haircut. Even after arriving, I was a bit skeptical because I had already used a strong developer for my damaged hair and nothing seemed to lift the darker patches. However, Anny did an amazing job giving me a clean, stylish bob cut and was able to somewhat blend the patchy spots and lighten them for me. While Anny handled most of the work, Ryan (who specializes in men's haircuts) assisted by mixing the bleach. It was clear that both of them were very attentive, detail-oriented, and careful throughout the entire process, which I really appreciated. The salon itself has a very cozy atmosphere, especially because of the staff. Everyone was very welcoming and willing to initiate conversation to make me feel comfortable. I am in my early twenties, so I do have a good idea on what might be "trending" and what may be considered "older", but Anny was able to meet my needs and delivering the look I was hoping for. So I've gone to the place a several times I've had both the guy cut my son's hair and the woman cut my other son's hair. They always charge the same price $15 as it's advertised ,so this one time I went in and I waited for the female to cut my son's hair and I went to give her $20. She said oh no I charge 25 which she has never done before .I was in shock so I gave it to her because she cut his hair and then she had the nerve to ask for a tip and while I was still in shock That she raised her price all of a sudden I felt bad and I gave her a tip when I knew that I should not have . During the service. I had to tell her a several times to fix the hair cut because she wasn't blending it in good. My family's been going to this guy for awhile now, even before this place opened up in Cypress and he held his "salon" in his garage. Honestly, the only reason was because it was cheap and he was a family friend's friend who asked us to help him out in his baby stages. Both the guy and his wife cut hair, and let me tell you that you'll never get what you want, and always what they want, a customer's nightmare. On top of that, they treat their young adult customers with utmost rudeness. How the hell do you excuse a 45 minute wait after the appointed time not once, not twice, but thrice? It sucked even more since I was Korean and younger than they are, which obviously gives them leeway to cater to the older and whiter crowd first. Why. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. I got my hair straightened because I have half curly hair. I went there because it was a little cheaper than other places.. but WOW. The first day it looked okay, but ever since then....my hair went back to what it was like before. Not straight and not what the kind of hair quality I expected to have after doing the permanent straightening. It simply ruined my hair quality now. It's dry and it's bad. I called and explained my situation and the lady said come in and she'll take a look. I first thought about going and redoing it for free, but I decided not to. If that is their skill, even the second time it would be the exact same result. I do not want to waste my stress, time, and possibly ruined hair once again. Since she is a perfectionist she blow dried and straightened my hair as I have little waves in my hair so that she can see if she hadn't missed anything.
